Okay, after coming back to my senses after getting Mudo'd and Ambush'd multiple times in SMTIV, I decided to not do MGR on Revengeance (I still really like MGR, though, just think my Action games skills aren't that good/oiled up for this)

But I'm likely to pick up my copy of DMC Collection and start a playthrough of DMC3 if I ever need some Action games in my life.

...After I can hold all these games to finish, though.

I never watched Bleach so I have nothing to contribute. I write my own stories.

"On your way here from the station was everything okay?"
Oh yeah, it was great. Not like the ****ing sky was green and coffins were coming out of the ground or anything. Why do you ask?

Am I supposed to be laughing this much? extracurricular execution squad had me rolling

totally gonna answer "It must be fate" every chance I get -- gonna play all suave and debonair.

It was either that or going to a foggy town where murders happen monthly with victims hanging from telephone poles.

This is like the epitome of spamception. It's spam within spam. How quaint.

So this is basically like a last person to post type deal except it's in the spam zone ... right?

It's actually a humble attempt at reformation of the spam zone, something desperately needed. But sure if you want to think of it as that go right ahead.

Yeah, it's is pretty much exactly like LPTP or the counting threads, just without a game along with the community aspect.

The last thread was made the day I went to the military. Seems like there's a connection.

So I finally did it, I platinum'd Catherine.
It took lots of work, but man was it satisfying. This was definitely the hardest platinum I had to get.

What about you guys? What's the game that was the hardest to platinum/ get 1000 gamescore?
for the record, time consuming =/= difficult.

This is gonna sound dumb, but since I barely plat any hard games, mine would have to be Doctor Who and the Eternity Clock. Terribly made platform/puzzle game, getting through it on Hard was awful and there's one level that crushes every hope and dream you've ever had about there being a good game licensed after your favorite film/show.

It took me most of a summer, but I did it and man was I proud.

I plan to platinum life. Currently it should take me another 80 or so years, but gaming technology might increase that time.

Whoa, congrats! I still have a buttload of trophies to get for Catherine. Suppose I should go back to it after like 2 years. :/

Anyway, for me it is SO4. Difficult AND time consuming (horrible game). The Last of Us seems really hard too. I completed it once and have no desire to run through it on all the difficulties.

You really should try Nier, that will change your tone about that. Spending several hours one item due to low drop rate is pretty difficult to me.

I don't plat many games. I mean, there's Castle Crashers, Halo 3, Halo 4, Gears of War, CoD4, and that's really it other than the recently mentioned Killer is Dead.

I just don't play games like that anymore. Always moving on to the next one

It' s not. And going through the highest difficulty twice will give you the completion trophies for every difficulty at once. You find a little less materials, but then normal mode was giving too much materials anyway, it was overkill. The real difference is that you' re deprived of your hearing radar so you can' t play as rashly as before. I wouldn' t call it easy but I wouldn' t call it hard either. I have all the single player trophies, haven' t even tried multi yet.

As for SO4 if memory serves it involved a ridiculous amount of replay (as if RPG weren' t time consuming enough already) but Infinite Undiscovery was even worse.

Me I had a hard time getting the highest rank in MGS4. It' s just a trial and error process, but surviving that damn sidecar chase sequence was a nightmare (I literaly had zero pixels of health left).

Do games that don't have trophies or whatever count?
I've 100%ed all of the KH games except Re:Coded, Days, and BBSFM, mainly because they're just too long and not fun. Translation: I stooped caring/lost my motivation.
From all of those I would say KHFM. That damn Pink Agaricus. Completing KH2FM was a pain but not that hard. The data battles were a little difficult but they never got me to a point where I was ready to give up and cry myself to sleep. And all of these were on the hardest difficulty so

Completing SDGGGW took me the longest, but it wasn't hard. Took me like 300 some hours to complete.

..I don't play many games. And I don't really care to 100% anything that's not KH for some reason. The only ones I have 100% on that aren't KH are NFS Most Wanted, Dissidia 012, and some of the ps2 DBZ and Naruto games. And those were never goals they just kinda happened. I got really close to 100%ing Ultimate Spider-Man but that last race is like impossible and I gave up. Maybe some day.

The only game I've ever 100%'d was Journey. Of course, it's not really saying much, just ended up trying to be patient for someone to stick with me the whole way through the levels as one of the achievements. .-.

Reading Scott Pilgrim. This is really hard. I really wish I hadn't watched the movie first, because it's impossible to not think about what's different and when there's a line in the book that was directly lifted for the movie I can't not hear it in my head. I like it, but in my head I'm seeing the movie as I'm reading which sucks. Maybe sometime in the future I'll come back to it and be able to better experience it on its own.

Scott in the book is nothing like the performance Cera delivered. I really liked Cera, I think his Scott works in a different way than the book's Scott, but it feels like an entirely different person.
