i platinumed Mass Effect 2 some months ago. i got really close to platinuming Dragon's Dogma, but i messed something up and i would have had to restart the playthrough which i just didn't want to do. not yet at least.

and there are a ton of games where i only need to get 8-10 more trophies to platinum but i just don't have the motivation to play them.

Which trophy? I have the platinum from Dragon's Dogma and I can't think of anything that fits that. Unless you mean the one that forces you to replay the game.

I'm going for the one you get for doing all pre-planned non-notice board quests and my game glitched and I couldn't turn in a quest I was doing. So I would have had to restart the game just to get it again.

That's lame. At least the information about which quests you've beaten carries over, so you don't have to replay everything at least. But yeah, something like that can really hinder trying to be a completionist.

    Once again, frustrating =/= hard.

I don't equate either, definitely. God Hand isn't frustrating but it's very hard. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons isn't hard but it's very frustrating.

The issue being, I think KH2 wants to be hard but it's actually neither.

Ah. I played a bit of that. Didn't get too far. Seems like something you have to plan out, know, understand, and have time so you can dump all of that into it.

I just started playing the other day. It's kinda addicting tbh. I've never played a Persona game and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, but it's fun nonetheless.
I want to experience the game with as little outside influence as possible for the first time then maybe come back to it in the future knowing what I know and with faqs so I can learn the ins and outs and stuff.

you should make it a habit to save literally every time you go back to the dorm, and also to make multiple saves just in case something goes haywire. i had to play through one month like 3 goddamn times because of this stuff.

I HAVE. I just forgot this one time because I was in the middle of exploring Tartarus and when I exited it was the full moon thing so I didn't have a chance at the dorm and I forgot to save before I left Tartarus.
But yeah. I beat it. It's all cool now

I wouldn't have bothered. I get really irritated having to restart things again so I would have quit.

Since you guys are talking Persona 3 FES, I had a hard time getting into the gameplay. Just...was not enjoying it. Only got to I think the first boss in Tartarus.

Haven't picked up on playing it since like October. Tips?

I' ve played P3, the original. It felt super fresh at first, but it almost became a chore after a few in-game months. I usually don' t mind grinding and all that redundant jazz, but both the Tartarus and the social quests were a tad too redundant for me. I also have a huge gripe with stupid AI playing in my stead. At least FF XIII was in real time, what' s P3' s excuse ? It doesn' t have any.

Luckily for me, although I didn' t use any walkthrough, the social link I chose to max happened to be the ones needed to create the über persona (the one that one shots even bosses).
