Persona 3 and 4 both have terrible gameplay. In such long games it's amazing to see there be almost no dungeon design in either. If you can't tolerate the gameplay, I'd say just skip the games entirely, ain't worth sitting through 70 hours of gameplay you don't like.

 

I don't know I kinda loved Persona 3 and 4, and the stories are sort of interesting to me, but yeah, after a while it does get kind of repetitive.

 

I've yet to beat P4 or even try P3, but I thought the gameplay was alright.

 

I actually love P3 more than P4, the story, and characters were a lot better there than in P4 in my opinion.

 

There's nothing much to it, it's simple turn based battle systems with weaknesses and cheap insta kill moves. Which really sucks in a game where if the main character dies, it's game over.

You just have to tolerate the gameplay for the characters, really.

 

oh my god doing a problem and then getting to the end and finding out you made one tiny error and you have to start over and you've been working on it for like an hour makes me just want to break down and cry

and when that happens on a timed exam, ugh, it's just the worst thing ever

 

Just sat through Harry Potter in Spanish I feel like I've accomplished something in life.

 

I realized around midday today that I start school tomorrow and not Wednesday as I expected. This is not optimal.

also I started watching Adventure Time again and it is amazing?? i don't know what to do with myself omg. What Was Missing is some quality facking television

 

If it makes you feel any better (which it won't) I have a book to read by Thursday that I don't have yet.

My feelings on Adventure Time are very mixed. On the whole I really dislike the sense of humor, but occasionally I'll watch an episode that I kinda enjoy and then another I don't. I kinda like the aesthetic of the show though, it's very adventure-y. The point I'm trying to make is Regular Show > everything else on CN in the past five years. Though PB is voiced by the lovely Hynden Walch which is amazing.

 

Watching Adventure Time feels like I'm on drugs. Which is the same feeling I have watching most cartoons anyway. Hmm.

 

Did anyone watch the Powerpuff Girls special last night or the new episode of Adventure Time?

Oh lawd, I missed it. D: I thought the premiere was Sunday, you know, when they had that 5-hour marathon in the middle of a random day. And then they started this counter thing for the premiere the next day and it just kinda pissed me off because the marathon was misleading. So yeah, I missed it D:

But yeah, I'm curious to know how it went. I heard the animation was a little bit weird to get used to. o.o

I've never really followed Adventure Time or Regular Show tbh. I'll watch them if they're on and while I think both shows are great in their own right, I feel like sometimes they try too hard. Still, great animation and the characters are just GREAT GREAT GREAT (anthropomorphic animals 4lyf~)

Also, working on a collab with my nub. I'm actually editing to Sherlock. It's a dream come true. It's a miracle. And it's actually looking good on my end (though I'm using the most cliche, overused song ever and the way I cut it is horrible ugh)

My Fullmetal Alchemist pocket watch arrived!
It’s a bit small and it’s a Chinese knock-off, it seems, but it tells time and works really well. The only real things wrong are the size and the way that the pocket watch opens.
Totally worth $10.
