    //ignoring current topic

    Went to the comic store today even though it's not Wednesday because I've been kinda (by kinda I mean really) down lately and thought I would quench my sadness by spending money.

    I'm positive the answer to all of these is no, but
    did anyone read the first issue of Hacktivist that came out this week? I just happened to see it advertised somewhere and when I looked into it it was one of those "holy **** that's perfect for me right now" kind of things.
    How about Rocket Girl? It's on its third issue now. I was going to pick it up when it came out but I passed. Got the first issue today though.
    Also got Bravest Warriors #16. Entirely because of trying to like Adventure Time.

    I half intended to get some Mega Man and Regular Show comics, but didn't. I also thought about the current Powerpuff Girls miniseries but my store didn't have the first issue so I passed on that as well

    Also got Batman #26 & #27 but everyone here actively dislikes superheros, so

    I was exaggerating for the most part.
    The few people I've talked to about comics here have told me superheroes just aren't their thing. I do know there are some here who like them, though.

    ...I guess KHV has spoken and made myself the subject of a new ship whilst I slumbered and toiled away.

    Fair enough.

    Just finished Frozen; loved it and I highly recommend it.

    Also, I like superheroes but comics are expensive and I've never found them for free online like all the manga so yeah

    Disliking superheroes and disliking superhero comics aren't the same thing.

    I haven't read any American comics in at least half a year now, due to the unavailability thereof given my current whereabouts. I must confess that Livin' the DC Free Lajf is remarkably beneficial to my overall health, insofar as I am not longer stressing over continuity or poor characterisation or consistency or whatnot.

    Are you one of those trendy hipster girls who wears a Batman shirt once and claims to be a "fan" while knowing jack all about the source material?

    No, I dislike Batman. Though, I don't see how that statement is related to what I said.
