Annoying as he may be his entire mental state was stretched about as far as it gets. It'd be ****ing strange if he wasn't at least slightly messed up.

Dude, there was a thing that showed what would happen if all the bad stuff that happened in his life didn't and he was still a shit.

    is jojo good?
should i add the mangas to the media to consume list?
here's what that looks like atm

no priority (whenever I feel like):
    Lolita
    Audrey Hepburn biographies
Baccano, Durarara (may just stop these altogether)
    Superman trade backlog
    Teen Titans v3
    Mister Miracle v2
    Tezuka comics

top priority (just want to get these out of the way):
    Bakuman
    Dragon Ball Super catch up
    Otomo movies

get back to (put these on hold for other stuff):
Planet of the Apes tv shows
    Leiji Matsumoto anime
    Naoki Urasawa manga

    after Leiji and Urasawa:
    Star Trek (after Apes)
    Lupin III
    Jojo manga (???)

I've only watched the new anime but the manga shouldn't be too different.

Part 1 is a bit slow to start but pretty good. Part 2 is my absolute favorite. Part 3 is the most popular one by far and good but a bit wonky at times. Dunno about the rest of it.

Yes, JoJo is super good. Like Haya said, the first part is kinda slow, part 2 is really good, the third part is popular but a little wonky at time (not hard to understand cause it has a sort of "Monster of The Week" thing gonig on). Part 4 I hear is really good. The rest, not to sure.

so out of curiosity i started jojo and the first chapter of the first series was alright i guess[DOUBLEPOST=1456896631][/DOUBLEPOST]also i'm interested in why people like Cowboy Bebop. i'm still trying to articulate my relationship with that show. i find that i'm not able to approach it in the same way I do other shows and get the same kind of experience out of it. in some aspects i absolutely love it yet in others i just kinda more than tolerate it. so i'm curious what it is other people enjoy about it and why and so on

    We #MakeDonaldDrumpfAgain

But in all seriousness we either hope he realizes he made a horrible mistake becoming President (given that being President is a far more horrifically stressful job than he is use to) and step down or gets impeached almost immediately.

But I wouldn't worry to much. More people oppose Trump than support him. Hell, both Republicans and Democrats dislike him and will probably make sure he doesn't get in.

so i think i just resolved to start saving for a ps4 and not get a ps3 ever. the games on 3 that i would buy it for are Arkham and theres not much else i care about. plus the next games in my favorite franchises (persona 5, kh3) are on ps4 sooo. not currently having a job makes that kinda difficult but once i have one in the summer it will be fine. saving some here and there now will help

begrudgingly respect him like every other president

I don't think there's a single episode of it that isn't great, it has fantastic music, the voice acting is strong in both English and Japanese (I prefer the English in this case because it fits the sci-fi western world a bit better,) and its characters are all likable.

    Impeach.

I'm by no means a trump supporter but I feel like (at least people I have personally seen in my age group +/- a few years) a lot of people just get their information from the videos slamming the guy, and then it just becomes a trendy fad to hate the guy. While I am not one to just put effort into actively hating people (if they are worth hating, they aren't worth my energy, however I will do what I can to not support them) I also feel like there is a large group of "Anti Trump" people who have no effing clue what is going on/what they are doing in general. That is almost scarier than the trump supporters. I feel like the reason he got this far was that the large majority of the anti Trump stuff we hear about (at least like I said, in my age group) is filled to the brim with people who are fine hating the guy, but aren't going to do jack shiet about it. Other than complain, which basically reduces those people to making trump related complaint posts on social media akin to a "troubled highschool student on facebook." Sure they know that something is really bothering them, but they do not know why, and they certainly aren't going to do anything about it.

Just my $0.02, I know there are a lot of intelligent people in my age group, however it is much easier to be lazy and follow the crowd with empty words (so people will do that), which is a very troubling trend to say the least.

This is true for politics in general for people our age, no matter who they support or oppose. I feel like I did enough research to be confident in how I think about Trump as a potential politician.

We always have to be aware of and cautious to avoid groupthink, so I'm glad you brought up what you did.

You can't. Didn't say it was that simple either, but it's not impossible. Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton were impeached. Richard Nixon resigned before he could be.

I doubt Trump would be anywhere near as bad news as some medias like to paint him. I' m a tad more worried about, say, a Poutine. Don' t take me wrong, the guy does say outlandish things, but being outlandish is the point. As far as I can tell no one has the first clue what the guy would actually do.

The more power you give to the PC police the more anger you sew. At this point I suspect you might have let them grow past the breaking point. How could you possibly hope for your politicians to fix anything if they can' t bring themselves to even name the problem ? The PC police and the far right feed of each other, they' re both bad news in my book.
