So Gerard Way is getting his own imprint at DC.
I'm kind of okay with this.

gerard way puts out quality work. from comics, to mcr, to his solo music, to putting grant morrison in one of his videos, taste aside, gotta say there's not much bad that you can point to. so yeah im excited for this.

and im pretty ****ing sure he named a song after an obscure mister miracle supporting character that was in a single issue from like 1989. and i might brush off the facts that his song is named maya the psychic and that one of many suspicious lyrics mentions hearing voices and that the character in question is a psychic baby named maya who made people hear voices, but he cited mister miracle as his favorite jack kirby design so in my mind its all real.

i'm torn between transferring to two different schools right now (my academic career is confusing and a mess) and a huge factor going into my decision is how much ****ing cheaper it will be to rent an apartment at one of them. like I could pay my rent for a year with the money I have saved rn

I'm terrified that me spending the next 5-6 years pursuing medicine won't be enough to help provide for my future family.

I feel like people overestimate the significance of the difficulty of the Souls games on both ends of the spectrum. What I mean by this is, while a lower difficulty might make the game seem better or easier to approach to a different variety of fans, at the end of the day it is only a might. Sure it probably wouldn't hurt its numbers, but it wouldn't make me buy it or finish any of the Souls game(s) (even tho I have like maybe two of them if that). The difficulty isn't the make or break factor. I have played games that are butt puckeringly difficult, but that doesn't make them fun or not. It is just an attribute of that game, which is why I don't really play those games. It isn't my cup of tea, and a difficulty change wouldn't make a difference, at least with me.

I can only really speak for myself. Maybe the game devs/community wants it to be like some super secret private club, and hell if that is what they are after, go for it. I don't see a problem with an "exclusive" game, in the same sense that I don't have any issue with games that are something anybody can play with ease. At the end of the day, if the game devs want to choose tradition over potential sales numbers, there is nothing wrong with that as it is their call.

Not saying you said any of that, and also not trying to put words in anyone's mouth. Just giving the good ol' $0.02

My mom forgot she scheduled an upgrade to Windows 10 a while ago and kept delaying it. Well, she forgot today, and she's now upgraded to it. She's going to take advantage of it and give it a try and revert back to Windows 7 if she doesn't like it.

What was the biggest issue or complaint? Something about privacy, if I recall, but it could be disabled? I don't remember.

I just do not at all see the harm in implementing an option, that people would never even have to use. And sure, it might be this way because of developer intention, but wouldn't taking some community input such as offering more options make for a more appealing product and potentially garner more sales without sacrificing the experience that so many players (like myself) want?

I've finished so many games that have had difficulty options, yet never saw those options' existence as detrimental to my own experience or anyone else's. However, my own experiences with the community of Dark Souls fans have constantly been the repetition of an idea that the game would be "ruined" because someone else can play it on a different difficulty. I disagree strongly with it, though I guess I should state that my own idea of an Easy Mode would simply be lowering enemy health and damage, as well as offering hints (an option within an option) if the player feels like it.

I honestly couldn't care less what other Souls fans think of me when I say that I've used a few walkthroughs to get through points in Dark Souls 1. Their opinions don't affect my enjoyment, but having the option for some guidance has only benefited me.
