The number of updates doesn't correlate with time though, she could have only had her computer on for anywhere between a few hours to a few days to accumulate that many updates. (It's random)

Yeah that sounds familiar. I've had update floods happen a number of times lol. My desktop was shut off for approx 3 months while I was out of town staying with family a while back, and I came back to this:

This was weeks, maybe months lol. I put that computer to sleep rather than shutting it down most of the time. Was inferring cause from effect (my computer has a bucket of updates to install -> i haven't shut it down in a long time -> i must have been accumulating them for a while to end up with that many), so I could've easily been wrong haha.

i dont have any problem with the current one on principle, i know nothing at all about her, but her action scenes looked straight out of power rangers or superhero movies circa twenty years ago. she didnt look cool enough fighting. and i know nothing about the character and care even less but if you can have laser swords come out of your hands, and you have a red sash around your waste, you damn well better act like you're the coolest thing ever because you are. and i didnt like the way she carried herself. her standing looked awkward.

but anyway movie kinda sucked. i wanted to love it and there were individual parts about it that i did love but on the whole its a mess. a giant disappointing mess.

 

I'm perfectly fine with Olivia Munn, and I liked the film plenty...

 

I've been watching this Pokemon nuzlocke LP on YouTube and now I'm really interested in trying to play it again (and maybe do EV training? Ierno yet).

 

Finished Batman: Arkham Origins. At least the main story stuff.

It's not as bad a game as I originally thought when I had uninstalled it, but I do think it's very outstretched and too long for its own good. It's got some of the series best boss fights...which is honestly not saying anything outside of Mr. Freeze in City being the best Batman boss fight ever. The story is completely predictable, but again, it's not like its counterparts are anything to rave about. The gameplay is mostly there, but I had way too many issue with the rappel...I don't know how many times I was frustrated trying to find a grappling point and getting nothing. Also, some really bad camera angles and animations that REALLY NEED INVINCIBILITY FRAMES like the Bane fights.

But the art style is the most interesting thing to me. Some things I did like, such as Killer Croc's design and the general colors and winter aesthetic, but others I didn't like including Bruce Wayne's freakishly proportioned head, Alfred's poorly textured face, and worst offender Barbara looking just ugly to me. Joker's aight: his animations are fun to watch if a little too much and his look is obviously not meant to be the exact same as in Asylum, but the buck teeth on his top row are kinda...eh.

Overall, it's pizza, and you have to try damn hard to make shitty pizza. Asylum is still the best pizza followed by City, and we'll see how Knight stacks.

Now I'm going back in to finish Arkham Knight. Some really neat story stuff is actually happening.

Incidentally, that friend I mentioned whose computer I fixed ? He' s quickly becoming my best friend, and at this point I' m pretty sure he' s an ENFP. Lawd, what have I done ? xD

 

hey you know whats annoying? when you import a game and they send you the right case but the wrong game. i only spent like $10 and it was used so im not gonna go through the trouble of returning it to get my money back. just gonna have to buy it again i guess

 

The new Voltron show on netflix is pretty good. It came out today, you guys should watch it.
