I liked the first ASM movie, have been doing my best to avoid the second though because I don't want to see Gwen die, lol. I guess I didn't mind Garfield that much -- my only real experiences with Spidey have been the cartoons and the Rami films, so I don't really know all that much of what Peter's characterization should be. I do feel like Garfield did a better job as Spidey than as Peter though, for the reasons Haya mentioned about Garfield being way too handsome and doing okay socially.

Though I will say I found the Peter and Gwen relationship in ASM way better than the Peter and MJ relationship in the Rami films, but that's probably just because Garfield and Stone (obviously) have really great chemistry.

Andrew only does better as Spidey because he gets more joke lines. Tobey didn't get nearly enough, because he was fun too when he did get to have comedic lines.

Oh no question, MJ and Tobey kinda sucked in the Raimi films, but Garfield Parker wasn't very believable to me, especially with how much charisma Stone Stacey had.

I basically stay in air conditioned facilities as much as I can.

Which sucked whenever I was outside for Comicon in costume.

Nothing is worse than the (stick with me here) Traditional Welsh Military Style Marching Band (holy fk) that I was in for four years. tl;dr full wool uniforms in the middle of summer. People passed out from exhaustion, dehydration, etc every single year. Fuuun (we kicked ass tho in terms of music).

Figured out why our garbage disposal stopped working about a month and two weeks ago. The outlet under the kitchen sink isn't working for some reason--all other outlets are working. Plugged in my mom's phone and it wouldn't charge via that outlet on either plugin.

We originally thought it was the disposal, so at least now we don't need to buy a new one, but now to figure out why the outlet stopped working. Drainage is terrible and the sink drain gets clogged easily. I may bring in the extension cord and plug it into a working outlet and then plug the garbage disposal into it to see if we can get the food bits cleared.

Yeah that's probably the worst, but I have been in a situation where our van broke down in the middle of an Arizona summer and we had to fix shit up right there in the sun. Of course that was one incident compared to a regular routine.

There was also the line for Phoenix Comicon registration that I was luckily not in where for the first time (in I think 7 years of operating?) the line went out the doors and into the 115+ Fahrenheit heat for hours. The staff apologized after that.

so i have my cart in newegg open. getting ready to press the purchase button. so. scared. im always really hesitant when buying things that cost a lot online but geez this is scary. ive added and subtracted so many numbers in the past thirty minutes just making sure it all adds up.

im gonna trust that the motherboard i had to buy from somewhere else was out of stock the whole time or there was some error on neweggs part and that it didnt go out of stock seconds before i pressed the checkout button. bc im having a pretty lame day and i feel like thatd be the equiv of kicking while down
