The Matrix

Switch glanced back at them, hearing Sepa whispering to Eva, trying to assure her. She decided not to comment and just gestured for them to follow her into the room where they would be freed. "We have to move quickly." she said quietly, starting to move around the room and check machines. "Sit down there." she instructed, pointing to two chairs near the machines. "Just relax, you'll be fine." she added, soothingly.

 

Sepa nodded and placed Eva in one chair and sitting in the other.

 

Switch moved over to them and began hooking up wires to their skin, being careful to be gentle with Eva. Then she went back to the moniters and started the process of disconnecting them from the Matrix. Every few seconds she would glance at the door, as if expecting someone to burst through it.

 

"How long will this take?" he asked, trying to hide his fear and be brave for Eva.

 

Switch got a tracking signal on both of them before she answered. "No time at all." she answered, dialing Dozer to tell him they were coming. She could already see that they were having the reaction of being freed.

 

Sepa started feeling strange. Then, he passed out.

 

OOC:I think I might've missed something,everything your doing is possible right? xD..I gotta watch those movies again.

 

OOC: lol, sorry if i'm geting something wrong. i'm trying to do the same thing as from the movie when they freed neo, from memory. i'll try and watch the movie today or tomorrow and fix stuff if it's inaccurate. but for the moment, ^^, the main point it they are being freed.

 

OOC: lolz i'm just goin' with it XD i've got a big post coming up, so i'll post it when i've got more time.

 

OOC: All right,just waiting for you guys to escape before getting Neo and Morpheus out via phone.

 

OOC: Here goes! ............ *insert movie scene here* lol jk I'll write it. XD

BIC: Eva started to feel a bit lightheaded. For a moment, it felt like she was falling, and then she opened her eyes to find herself somewhere she didn't know. It was strange, and frightening, to change locations so quickly. But what worried her most was that she was alone, and... where were her clothes? She wrapped her arms around herself, and jumped slightly seeing all the cords. It was cold and dark, the two things that Eva disliked the most. She was just starting to wonder where everyone was when a machine came over to her, making her scoot back out of fear. She never did like robots all that much. A small cry of pain sent a slight echo through the empty air when the machine roughly pulled the plug out of her head. Eva trembled, feeling the other chords come undone. The liquid in her pod started to drain through the back, causing a suctional current that pulled Eva with it. She fought against it for a moment before realizing that this must be the way she had to go. What other way was there? As the slightly twisting tunnel came to an end, and Eva plumetted to the water below, the stress and fear took her over, and she lost conciousness under the water.

 

When all hope seemed to be lost, a human-sized metallic claw dove into the water and grabbed Eva by her mid-section.IT slowly began pulling her out of the water and into a ship hovering in the air above the large body of water.The Nebuchadnezzar had come.

Meanwhile,Morpheus had drawn the attention of the local law enforcers and was defeating them,one after the other, inside the abandoned building.Once each was disarmed and knocked out, he called for Neo.

"Mr Anderson, why try to escape the inevitable?You'll eventually be killed..or worse.Why not just accept it?"Smith asked, emerging from a hole in the wall,covered in concrete dust and debris.

"The only time I'll die is if I can take you with me."Neo responded, in his battle stance,motioning for Smith to try and attack again.It wasn't until Morpheus shouted that Neo decided to break into a run,leaping out of a nearby broken window and landing onto a parked Police Car.As soon as he touched down,he kicked back up,heading for a phone.

Morpheus had escaped as well,evading police along the way.

 

Switch saw them both disapear from the matrix and smiled. "Dozer, Sepa and Eva are out of the matrix and I'm going to the subway for an exit." she informed him as she left the room, gun ready.

 

" know,I've got them,I've got them..Morpheus and Neo got away, so your on your own until you find a phone.Get to that subway,Neo is going to take another way out..Morpheus should be meeting you there."Dozer responded, moving toward the bay with a towel in hand for both Eva and Sepa.He kept his wireless headset on in case he was needed again, but for now he began helping Eva toward the Medical Bay first.

 

Eva's eyes opened half way. "Uncle Thomas..?" She groaned, barely awake.

 

'Nah, he'll be here soon..just sit and try to get a feel for the real world."He said, her arm over his shoulders.He gently picked her up and set her down on a bed."Try and relax for now."

Morpheus looked around cautiously as he stood in the subway,waiting for Switch's arrival.

Meanwhile,Neo was running through an alley way.He busted open a nearby door which led into a poorly made residential building to pick up a phone ringing for him.Dozer may not have been at his computer, but he was one step ahead.He picked it up and awoke in the real world."Dozer..little help?"he called.

"Sorry!"Dozer called, heading to unplug Neo before he got to Sepa.He would need the extra help.After unplugging him, he went toward the cockpit and had the phone in the subway begin ringing.He went back into the bay and grabbed Sepa, who was stumbling along in a weak manner.

 

Eva's head tilted to the side, her eyes closing again. She didn't feel right, liking the feeling of unconciousness more than conciousness.

 

"Right, good luck with them." Switch said before hanging up and concentrating on getting out of the building. She knew that agents were probably around on theh bottom level so she searched around for a window to climb out of. Finally finding one, she slipped out and found her way down to the street. She got her bearings and headed to the subway.

 

"..You can't always run,Mr. Anderson."Smith said as he exited the building,wiping most of the dust from his suit.

"Come on,Switch.."Morpheus said, half worried,half nervous.He listened as the phone continued to ring.

A pair of hands grabbed Eva's shoulders in a comforting way, and Neo pressed his forehead against hers."..I'm here,everything'll be okay."he assured her before hugging her entirely.

Dozer set Sepa on a table nearby and patted his shoulder."You'll be okay,you always feel like that when freed."he told him before looking over at Neo.

 

Eva's body went limp in Neo's arms. She was now sure that she was safe; there was no need for her to worried or scared anymore. Her entire self was relaxed, almost numb.
