The Melodies of the Gullwings: Final Fantasy IX/X-2

Got permission to restart this beloved thread. (The three of us were so close to finishing it! >.<) Story ~ While traveling down into the Farplane to stop Shuyin, the Gullwings end up in the royal kingdom of Alexandria, becoming the royal protectors of Princess Garnet til Alexandros XVIII. During the celebration of the princess's sixteenth birthday, Yuna meets the daring thief Zidane Tribal, who leads her along the path to find Tidus.

Bio: Growing up in Alexandria, Angel was considered the thief mascot of the small kingdom, becoming the only person in the kingdom who was never caught by the Knights of Pluto or the Alexandrian Knights. Like a certain thief from Lindblum, she only remembers a blue light from her past. While sneaking around the castle during the play, Angel is about to find out the truth of her past.

Appearance: Looks like a younger Zidane. He wears a cape and has two swords on his back
Bio: Despite his young age he is hailed for his skill with a sword. He is also known for being unemotional. His past is a complete mystery to others. The only thing that's is known is that he has a twin sister back at his home. He also has a yellow tail that is wrapped around his waist like a belt. His frail appearance fools others into believing he is a weak kid but he is a deadly person

Appearance:
Bio: A travelling swordsman who left his hometown of Burmecia to hone his style, the Shigure Souen as he searches for his calling in the world of Gaia, he's currently lodging in Alexandria doing some jobs to get money for his travels, however, little does he know that one tiny little play will determine his future.
Weapon: Broadsword & Katana (Will be obtained after Lindblum's Festival)
Trance powers: His hair color changes to yellow with his eyes becoming blue as his armour remains the same except his sword is coated in a water, further effecting his own style.

Name: Shinji Sekai

Bio: A mysterious young man who appears from a slivery wall with his clothing being completely to different to that of all of Gaia as he claims he is from another world as he is supposely called the 'Destoryer of Worlds' from some prophet that informs others of him as he tries to have them to kill Shinji to stop the destruction he may cause.

Bio: Alyssa had always been a big fan of Lady Yuna, and when she got word that she disappeared to another world, she was determined to find it and go there herself. She knew about the large so called holes that were made when the Gullwings took on an Aeon and she decided that she enter one of them as well. She found her way into the Farplane and into the world the Gullwings stumbled into. Alyssa now roams the streets of this new and strange world trying to figure out a way back or to see if she wants to stay.
Weapon: Gunblade.

Name: Drake Black

Bio: Ever since Braska and his guardians defeated Sin, he has always looked up to Auron as a role model, wanting to be a great guardian just like him. He joined a summoner and together traveled all the way to Zanarkand. When they finally got to Zanarkand the fear of death overwhelmed the summoner and caused the summoner to flee from Zanarkand. Drake was annoyed at the summoner's cowardliness but accepted the summoners choice and parted ways. By the time he reached back to Bevelle He had gotten word that Sin was defeated. In this time of peace, Drake became a traveling swordsman but, having seen all of Spira during the pilgrimage, there was not much to see in Spira. He desired to go somewhere. His desired was fulfilled when he went to visit his deceased parents at the farplane, where was suddenly transported to Gaia. He had been living in Gaia for a while now, planning to travel to all sorts of places and hone his skill with a sword

Appearance:

Bio: Born in Alexandria Into wealth, Edo was unlike his siblings. Having 4 brothers who were spoiled rotton. Edo on the other hand was quite and almost forgotten by his siblings. His parents adored him though and was the favriot. While sleeping Edo heard a noice in their humble mansion to see a group of people all in black with large swords on their back. The ruthless fiends maccicard his entire family as he hid in the shady corner, scarred. The police came and thought the worst. Beleiveing that Edo himself killed his family in exile and hate. He was held in a prison camp for 2 weeks before prompley escaping. and growing up on the streets, gambling and husteling his way to a small fortune. But edo sooned found out that his life was going to take a turn. Maybe in the right direction.
Weapon: A small sord similar to that of a fensing sword. But sharper

I shall also take on the role of Zidane and Steiner in FF9 while in FFX, I'll take on Tidus. lol I think 6's enough for my main characters, any others that aren't filled in can be done by you Aerith.

BIC: There was a small boat caught in a terrible storm. The boat's only passengers tried their hardest to survive the horrible storm, but something happened to the woman.

That's when Princess Garnet awoke up from her dream, sighing. She had that dream so many times, she wondered what it was about as she rubbed her eyes from sleep. Her four guards, Yuna, Rikku, Paine, and a soldier whose face was covered by a mask, entered the room. All of them heard the birds outside, the four guards watched as Garnet stood up and went to her window, opening it slightly.

Angel stretched and looked around. 'Looks like all of Alexandria's soldiers are on high alert since it's Princess Garnet's birthday. Guess I need to be extra careful today.' She put on her thief cloak and ran into the crowd, wondering who steal from today.

Angel took a few loaves of bread and smiled as the soilders tried to catch her. "Can't catch me slowpokes!" The event was drawing quite a crowd.

 

Out of nowhere Ren grabbed Angel by her tail and looked down at the tail

 

Angel shouted loudly in pain when Ren pulled her by the tail. "What the hell was that for?!"

 

"Slow" Ren said unemotionally as he stared at her tail some more. He then let go of her tail and then took a loaf of bread from her and began to walk away

'Weirdo.......' Angel whispered to herself before running out of sight from the soldiers. At this time, a black mage and a cloaked young man entered the village. Everyone noticed how close the black mage was standing to the man as it was a unusual sight for sure.

Within the skies was a airship, propelled by the Mist as a rat-boy slid down a pipe and opened up a door.

"Guess no-one's here yet." He thought to himself as he dug out a match and lit it for some light then advanced forward into the middle of the room to light the candle so the light could spread but then he heard some voices from a door of the meeting room.

"Who's there!?" A male voice called out as the rat-boy knew who it was but he decided to play along. "It's me! Zidane!" He said as the door opened, revealing three men, one had a belt over his eyes and red spiky hair, even Zidane sometimes wonder how Blank saw through it, the next was called Marcus as he had a light orange bandanna over his eyes and finally Cinna was the oddest of them all, his face looked like a badly stitched up doll and he held a hammer which was obviously his weapon of choice, not that Zidane complained about the three's looks scone he himself, attracted many ladies in Lindblum with relative ease and became known quite well throughout Lindblum for it as he was dubbed the beautiful one of the group.

"The boss here yet?" Zidane asked them after they did their signature knuckle tapping.

"Not yet." Cinna said as the door on top of the stairs opened, revealing a humanoid body and strangely, a dragon neck and head as it leaped down and somehow roared as Zidane quickly unsheathed his daggers while Marcus and Blank did the same with their swords and Cinna...well...he already had his weapon out.

Yuri was coming out of the general store as he heard the man from inside. "Thanks alot mate!" the store owner called out to him.

"Well, that's more Gil to add into my travels." Yuri thought to himself as it added the contents in his pocket.

Steiner was within the castle walls, doing his regular rounds as his armor clanked with it's natural noise. "Castle Perimeters! Check!" He said with confidence.

"Have to make sure everything's in tiptop shape for tonight! Her Majesty would be so grateful!" he thought with a sense of justice.

 

Angel was in her secret hideout, eating the bread she stole.

Garnet sat by her window, waiting for the plan she made to start.

Yuna leaned the wall of the room she and the Gullwings were in. She wondered if she could find him on this world.

 

Zidane, Marcus, Blank and Cinna each exchanged blows with the dragonman but the dragon head spilt opened to reveal their boss, Baku as he moaned a bit. "Go easy you guys!" He said as the mentioned gusy were out of breath and soon, the meeting room was filled in as they discussed their plan; to kidnap Princess Garnet and Zidane was the luck one to kidnap the most babelicious woman in all of Alexandria.

The airship soared over Alexandria as Yuri stared up and whistled from teh town square. "One of Lindblum's airships huh? What I wouldn't give to get a ride on one." He said and chuckled to himself. "That won't be possible, airships are usually expensive to travel on, that's why msot people walk or use the train station at the South Gate to get into Linblum terrority or Alexandrian." He thought to himself.

 

The black mage and the man also watched the theater ship fly above as they continue into the village. As they walked, the black mage tripped and dropped his ticket. "Are you alwight?" A little girl asked, she picked up his ticket and handed it to him. "Here! You dwopped your ticket! Bye-Bye!" She ran off.

The two continued to walk into the village, as a rat-boy bumped into the black mage. "Watch where you going!" He ran off, the man sighed as they continued, he bumped into Yuri, causing his hood to fall down. "Excuse me, sir." He put the hood back up.

 

"It's not a problem." Yuri said when the stranger collided into him, he get a glimpse of the man's face and he coudl tell this stranger wasn't for looks either and he noticed the black mage.

"Not often you see someone with a black mage...that ticket...oh he must be going to see that show 'I want to be your Canary.' by that Lord Avon and the townspeople did say that it will be shown at the Queen's castle with rooftop viewers, nobles and of course the royal family." Yuri thoguht to himself

 

The two continued into the village, heading for the ticket booth. The ticketmaster asked, "Can I help you, son?" They both showed him their tickets, the ticketmaster examined their tickets, "What's this? There's something odd about these tickets....... Why, they're nothing more than fakes..... I've seen too many today......"

"Nooo!" The black mage lowered his head, discouraged. The man lightly patted his shoulder, the ticketmaster said, "Now, now. Don't cry. I know how you must feel. Here, I'll give you these. Do try to cheer up, hmm?"

He handed him three cards and said to find Alleyway Jack on how to play. They left, entering a alleyway when the black mage tripped again, causing the signmaker to cuss, but he was able to finish his work. That's when the rat-boy from before arrived, "Hey, you! Shrimp! You're the one with the phony ticket, right?!" The black mage sighed and nodded. The rat-boy smiled, "I'll let you see the show if you become my slave!" The black mage and the man agreed to this. "Awesome. Now for your first assignment. You go stand over there and see if anyone's coming."

They did so while the rat-boy looked on the other side, with no one coming on either side, the rat-boy took the ladder and they headed for the small cathedral.

Yuna sighed. "I really wonder if we can find him here.........." Paine mentioned for Rikku to comfort her cousin.

 

Ren began to eat the bread he took from Angel as he watched the castle up ahead.

Alleyway Jack continued to walk down the alleyway

 

The black mage pulled on the man's cloak and ran to Alleyway Jack, "Excuse me, are you Alleyway Jack?"

Angel couldn't get rid of the familiar feeling she felt around Ren, putting on a noble disguise to sneak into the castle.
