Zidane looked at them. "Well, did you inform your king about Alexandria?" He asked her as Freya nodded. "Yes, however he believes we are safe within this sandstorm, but I have been asked to join in the ceremional dance to help strengthen it as Clerya and Burmecia once held hands in harmony and they will need a Dragon Knight, such as myself to perform the ritual, you are all welcome to come and watch." She said tot hem.

 

They went to the cathedral, the Rose Maiden began to play the harp with the scared jewel and the dance began.

 

Zidane watched the dance. "It's almost like you could be memorized by it." He said quietly, he and his brothers never saw important dances and such since their job was to steal, not gaze at the minor cast so to say as much as Zidane wanted to glimpse a few women, of course, he'd have to say Garnet or Dagger as she's called now was very beautiful indeed, he would give anything just to see face and body, even the embarassing parts and with hopefully some Lady Luck, be the first man.

Yuri sneezed as he rubbed his nose as he stood in the birdcage with the others as Marcus looked at him. "A cold?" He asked as Yuri shook his head. "Nah, it just came up without notice, maybe I'm being either talked about or did something related to what that person wants." He said in thought.

 

Lenne sighed, "I just hope Yuna and Dagger are okay........"

Dagger made a little sneeze and rubbed her eyes as she sat in her bedroom, still in her Warrior dress. "I wonder if Mother will even listen to me...... Why did she attack Burmecia? And why did she arrest us like that? I must be sincere with her. She hasn't been herself lately..... Actually, she has been acting rather strangely since my birthday last year. The same day that tall man visited...... Apparently he has something to do with it." Dagger realized that's when things began to change, Doctor Tot left and Yuna and her girls appeared. That's when Zorn and Thorn with Seymour entered her room, ""Queen Brahne summons you."

"Come with us."

"What?! How dare you two talk to speak me like that?!"

Seymour smiled and extended his hand, "Let me escort you to your mother." Dagger sighed and took his hand, walking with him to her mother's room.

 

Soon, the dance had ended but something happened a sthe crystal shattered and soon, the sandstorm stopped. "What's happening!?" Zidane said in surprise, Clerya was not not covered by the sandstorm meaning, the ALexandrian fleet can go up the trunk at any time.

 

"This is bad....." Rikku whispered.

Seymour led Dagger up to the Queen. "Your majesty, your daughter is here to talk with you." Dagger walked up and bowed. "Mother, I wish to speak with you."

 

Yuri had to nod as Steiner demanded they'd be released at once as Tidus sighed. "What could they want with Yuna and Dagger?" He asked them as Yuri shurgged. "I don't know..." He said in response, that presence of the minister felt very dangerous as Yuri knew he couldn't use the DoubleSphere right now, Yuna's other spheres were taken except for the Gunner which remained slotted in and the blasted clowns took everything, including Yuri's three spheres.

Darling, there you are. Where were you? I've been worried sick. Here, come closer and tell em what you wish to know." Brahne said as she waved her fan.

 

"Mother..... First, is Lady Yuna safe? And why did you attack Burmecia?" Dagger asked her mother once she was face to face with her mother.

 

Lady Yuna is all right my daughter, no wonder you look so concerned about Burmecia. That is far from the truth, Garnet. You see, those Burmecian rats have been plotting to destroy Alexandria for some time. I couldn't just wait for them to attack and destroy our precious kingdom. So, I had no choice but to take initiative." Brahne said as she stared at her daughter.

 

"Mother, is that the truth?" Dagger asked, wondering where Yuna was.

 

"Of course, I would never lie to you." Brahne said concerned/

 

Dagger sighed, "Alright, I believe you, mother."

 

Footsteps were heardas Kuja entered the room. "May I play a part in this act?" he asked with curiousity as Brahne smiled at the arrival.

 

"An act?" Dagger asked, confused. "Where's Lady Yuna?!"

 

"Yes, an act from a beautiful play... There is a knight on a white horse... and a beautiful princess. It is a tale of tragic love. Overcome by grief, the princess must sleep for a hundred years...and the young woman is also an exciting cast member, now sleep." Kuja said as he grabbed her around the waist and cast a spell over her, instantly making her fall into a deep sleep. "She is beautiful, even in sleep." he said, actually admiring her for the moment.

"Hmph, impudent little girl, you can have your way with her after the extraction since she is of no use to me afterwards, Zorn, Thorn! Prepare to extract the eidolons from Garnet and those Aeons from Yuna." Brahne said with a smug smile.

 

Zorn and Thorn nodded and placed Dagger on the same altar Yuna was lying on. Zorn smiled, "A happy belated birthday, Princess!" "Sixteen years old, the princess has become. Draw the eidolons from her, finally, we can." Zorn and Thorn began to jump around and chant something as a pair of light on Dagger and Yuna and they began to float in air, the lights shot into the sky. Seymour caught two handfuls of beautiful jewels that appeared out of nowhere as a sphere of dark energy appeared. He smiled, "It is time, your majesty."

 

"Oh of course, to Clerya we go Minister Seymour." Brahne said and walked to the where the Red Rose was docked at wand the ship heading for Clerya.

Freya looked at Zidane. "Then we must go down the trunk and see if Alexandria soliders are coming." She said as Zidane nodded. "Good idea, let's do it." He said as the group headed for the entrance

 

Rikku rode on Jecht's back and sighed.

 

They started walking down and as Alexandrian soliders were approaching as Zidane pulled out his daggers. "Let's go!" He siad as Freya readied her lance as they started attacking.

 

Jecht put Rikku in a safe place and attacked the soldiers.
