Alleyway Jack looked over at the black mage "huh? how did you know my name? You probably wanna challenge me to a card game, huh? what? you don't know how to play? and you want me to teach you? well...why not? I finished one job already, follow me kid" Alleyway Jack said as he led the black mage and taught him how to play Tetra Master

OOC: pointless post but atleast I can say Vivi knows Jack

 

The black mage thanked him and returned to his companions, who walked along the rooftops to the castle. The rat-boy introduced himself as Puck, the black mage was called Vivi, the man kept silent. So enough, they arrived at the castle just in time for the start of the play.

 

Alyssa woke up in the home that she had taken refuge in. It was owned by an older couple, who were very kind to her. They wouldn't let her pay them anything for return in staying in their home, so she decided she would go out and buy groceries for the week. She made sure to get up and out before the couple arose that morning because she knew that they would most likely disagree. It wasn't hard to get up before them, they normally slept relatively late. She grabbed the holster that carried her gunblade and secured it around her waist. The constant bumping into her legs every time she took a step used to bother her, but now if it wasn't there she didn't feel complete. She walked out of the house quietly and took off down the street, listening to wait the people were saying as she walked by them. Eavesdropping was one of Alyssa's favorite hobbies. She loved to know what was going on around town. She did this very often in her home town of Luca. There was always something going on there. Sometimes she missed the excitement of being back home, but she had learned to cope with her new surroundings and things were getting more enjoyable with each passing day.



Rikku skipped over to Yuna, "Don't worry Yunie, I'm sure we will be able to find him. You just gotta stay cheerful, okay?" She asked her, with a bit of concern in her voice. "I mean, where else could he be, right?

 

Yuri had stalked the man and black mage without being noticed and soon, he found himself watching the start of the play.

Steiner noticed Princess Garnet's depression and he grinned to himself, thinking his signal for the fireworks would cheer her up as he swung his sword down as the fanfare and fireworks started, revealing the stage but when he looked at Garnet again, she was still the same.

Baku walked out onto the stage after the fanfare played and he raised his arms as he spoke out loudly to be heard.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Tonight's performance is a story that takes place long, long ago. Our heroine, Princess Cornelia, is torn from her lover, Marcus. She attempts to flee the castle, only to be captured by her father, King Leo. When our story begins, Marcus, having heard of this, crosses swords with the
king. And now, Your Royal Majesty, Queen Brahne, Your Highness, Princess Garnet... ...noble ladies and lords, and our rooftop viewers, Tantalus proudly presents 'I Want to Be Your Canary'!" Baku then bowed and walked off stage as people heard voices comign from within the fake castle that was the stage itself.

"Bereft of father! Bereft of mother! Marcus! Thou has lost even thy love!" Blank's voice was heard, playing his role as another new voice spoke up, this time it was Cinna's. "Fortune hath escap'd thee! For what end shalt thou live!"

Zidane took a deep breath in his lungs. "For the sake of our friend... Let us bury our steel in the heart of the wretched King Leo!" he declared as Cinna and Blank replied. "Aye!" the three men ran out onto the stage, wielding fake weaponry where Marcus and Baku and two others ready to square off.

"We shall back thee, kinsman!" Blank annouced to Marcus and marcus shook his head.

"Pray, sheathe thy swords! This villain is mine alone!"

Cinna was next to speak up his line "Nay, kinsman! For I, too, have lost a brother to this fiend!" and Baku/King Leo responded. "What ho? Out, vermin! Away! Thou darest bare thy sword before the king!? All who stand in my way will be crush'd!"

Zidane shook his head in defience to him and spoke loudly.

"Treaherous Leo, my kinsman's suffering shall not be in vain! For I shall instruct thee in his incomparable pain."

With those words, the performers charged at each other, begining their fake battle and King Leo falls down on knee, pretending to be exhausted. "Arrg... Grr... Thou hast not seen the last of me, Marcus!" He walked off tehe side of the stage as Zidane tried to follow. "Come back!" but Blank intercepted him.

"Out of the way, Blank!" Zidane demaned to friend but Blank shook his head in response. "Consider this, Zidane! If Prince Schnieder were to marry Princess Cornelia, peace would reign over both their kingdoms" this time Zidane would shake his head.

'Tis foolishness! If all were so easy, why, none would suffer in this world!"

The talk ended as the two begun their fake sword battle all ove rthe stage as they run out in front of the crowd and into teh viewing area and continue.

"En garde!" Blank said and Zidane nodded. "Expect no querter from me!" The two continue to clash their sword or avoiding each other's attack and Blank spoke up. "We shall finish this later!" and he ran into Alexandria Castle and Zidane followed suit, calling out. "Come back here!"

The crowd cheered for the show, obivously thinking running into Alexandria Castle was part of the show.

OOC: You don't KNOW how grateful I am that the other rp still had the play lines and just copy and paste

 

OOC: I decided to make a new character to get me into the story more since Ren will appear in certain situations and my other three characters appear late

Bio: Ever since Braska and his guardians defeated Sin, he has always looked up to Auron as a role model, wanting to be a great guardian just like him. He joined a summoner and together traveled all the way to Zanarkand. When they finally got to Zanarkand the fear of death overwhelmed the summoner and caused the summoner to flee from Zanarkand. Drake was annoyed at the summoner's cowardliness but accepted the summoners choice and parted ways. By the time he reached back to Bevelle He had gotten word that Sin was defeated. In this time of peace, Drake became a traveling swordsman but, having seen all of Spira during the pilgrimage, there was not much to see in Spira. He desired to go somewhere. His desired was fulfilled when he went to visit his deceased parents at the farplane, where was suddenly transported to Gaia. He had been living in Gaia for a while now, planning to travel to all sorts of places and hone his skill with a sword

BIC: Angel had knocked out the knight escorted her into the castle and took his armor. She let her tail out to let it sway and explored the castle.

Yuna nodded and hugged her cousin, smiling. Garnet and the masked soldiers appeared and the four guards took their place for Garnet's plan to escape.

Vivi and Puck enjoyed the play, the man just kept quiet, he appeared to be thinking of someone.

 

Two voices were yelling out in a room as Zidane and Blank changed into Alexandrian Solider Uniforms by beating up the poor two real soldiers who only wore boxers now as Blank laughed.

"Hehehe! Finished changing, Zidane?" he asked him and Zidane looked at him. "Yeah, but this helmet... It kinda smells..." he mumbled to him and threw it away as Blank shook his head.

"What are you talkin' about!? My helmet totally reeks! My armor's way too big... and my back's real itchy...the boots are wet...my gloves are all slimy... there's cookie crumbs in my pockets..." He said to him and Zidane held up his hands to stop his fellow comrade to discover more about his stinking armor.

"Okay, I get the picture... You still have the package, right?"

Blank took out the package. "Don't worry! I won't screw up!"

"Alright! First, I'll go pour some sleep potion into Princess Garnet's teacup!" he said and Blank replied "And I've got a special something for the lovely queen!" he chuckled at the two sleeping men in boxers.

"Hehehe. They're sleeping so soundly!"

The two men left the room and Blank looked around. "According to recon... the royal seats should be right above these stairs!" He poinetd to them and Zidane nodded. "Got it!"

The two heard the crowd roar and the two realised what it meant.

"Uh-oh! The scene where Marcus sneaks into Cornelia's chamber is about to start! Let's get this over with before the finale, okay?" he asked Zidane who nodded as he procreeded to run upstairs.

Yuri watched the play "So that 's what this play is about..." Yuri concluded in his thoughts as he crossed his arms, the nobles were too into the play to notice commoners behind him and for that, Yuri was thankful.

 

Garnet ran out into her peasant outfit and white mage robe. She ran into Zidane and Angel, who came out behind her.

 

Zidane almost tripped as he took notice of teh two girls. "One's like me...? but the other is bothering me...wonder why. he thought and crossed his arms as he examined the white mage a she thought about his options, he could just let her pass or examine her face so he chosen the first option as he stepped aside and she was about to head down the stairs. "Something's bugging me, better ask her a question to confirm it."

"Wait a sec! Haven't we met before?" he asked her.

 

"Umm..... would you please let me pass?" She asked, politely as she could. Angel, on the other hand, had a look of complete shock seeing Zidane. She had never met someone beside Ren who look like her.

 

Zidane put a gloved hand to his chin and walked around her. "Hmm, maybe you are right, there's no way I'd forget someone with a pretty face." just then, his mind clicked. "Say, you wouldn't-"

He was interupted by Blank who come up the stairs to check out why it was taking time. "Hey, What's goin' on Zidane?" he asked his partner.

Steiner stood at his guard, watching the play.

 

"I..... I must go!" Garnet ran past them. Angel followed her

"We are in trouble!"

"Trouble we are in!"

The two court jesters, Zorn and Thorn, ran around the castle, worrying about something. "This is terrible!"

"Our heads, Queen Brahne will have!" The two continued to run around, running onto the royal box. They were stopped by Steiner, when Beatrix appeared, "Is there something wrong?" They tried to explain something about the princess and Beatrix went to the queen, with the kingdom's unusual blue haired prime minister standing next to her.

"No interruptions! Can't you see I'm enjoying the show?"

"Your majesty, I'm afraid that Princess Garnet has-"

"Yes, she did leave her seat awhile ago."

"Your majesty, it seemed the princess has run off with the Royal Pendant."

"Of the all..... What could she be thinking? Beatrix, Steiner, find the princess!" Beatrix nodded and left.

 

Suddenly Ren appeared before Garnet wearing a cloak and a mask to cover his face. Ren immediatly drew the sword at his side and slashed at Garnet

Drake was standing ontop of a rooftop with his arms crossed as he watched the play with a smile. One this play is over I will find him again and learn more techniques the swordsman thought to himself. Being new to Gaia, Drake had little money so he couldn't afford a ticket. He decided to watch the play from above

 

Angel got in front of Garnet and protected her from the slash, allowing her to escape further. "Who are you?"

 

"out of my way. I am ordered to kill the survivor" Ren said slashing at her with his sword

 

Angel jumped back and took out her crossbow. "Don't think so, buddy!" She shot a few arrows at him.

 

Zidane chased after Garnet, completely ignoring the situation of the others while Blank had headed off in another direction.

Steiner saluted and left to gather the Knights of Pluto who were in fact, in disarray as he searched up at the tower only to see the Princess being chased by a rat-boy. "Have no worries Princess, I Steiner shall rescue you!" He said to himself but then eh wondered how he was supposed to even get to the other tower.

 

Garnet climbed onto a stone of the tower and sly smiled at Zidane, having hidden the banner rope behind her and fell backwards, holding onto the rope as she swung to the theater ship, pretty much having the time of her life.

 

Steiner gasped as he tried to reach her from he was was and stuck his armor in the gap.

Zidane looked over and saw the banner rope and he grabbed a hold of it. "Two can play at this game Princess...Geromino!" He soon followed the Princess as they landed on the roof of where the band was playing

Steiner has used the same idea but somehow, he was gliding but he crashed into one of the airship towers as his leg twitched.

OOC: This part confused me, Steiner didn't exactly hold the rope yet he somehow glided to the airship when in actual fact, that armor plus gravity should of sent him to the ground.

 

Garnet ran into the ship, running past Ruby.
