The Melodries of the Gullwings: Final Fantasy IX/X-2

"Hey, it's all right, we got everyoen else comign so it's not an all alone trip." Zidane said as the supplies were collected with help from a few members.

 

Rikku nodded and smiled.

 

Soon, the Minister called for them to return so they can go down to the lower level of the castle to use the Dragon's Gate to reach the marshes, Cid however, used a trolley to stop the other Alexandrian delivering cargo from the docks.

Everyone now stood outside the Dragon's Gate. "Right then, marshes right?" Zidane asked.

 

Rikku nodded and walked with them.

 

The group started to head for the Marshes. "Wait, we don't know where that site is within the Marshes so how will we know?" Yuri asked suddenly and Zidane thought about it. "We'd have to ask Quina then." He answered and Tidus blinked. "Quina?" He asked Zidane as he nodded.

"Just...don't expect any easy words coming out from him or her." He answered and Yuri turned his head to Zidane. "You don't know what Quina is?" He asked and Zidane nodded. "And I'd rather it stay that way." He said honestly.

 

Rikku gasped and looked around for Quina. Yuna was confused by her cousin's action.

 

"Is Quina...frightening or just, weird?" Tidus asked and Zidane looked at him. "When you see it, you'll find out." They entered the marshes and soon came across Quina who was at where the frogs were.

 

"What..... is that thing?" Yuna asked and noticed Rikku pick up a frog and handed it to Quina, smiling.

 

Quina quickly accepted it and Zidane looked at Yuna. "I'd rather not know and that's saying alot." Zidane said and Yuri wondered what race this thing was, he never encountered it when he left Burmecia, then again, he should of thanked his lucky stars that it never happened.

"Maybe Quina knows where this site is?" Yuri suggested and Zidane nodded. "Worth a try."

 

"Whatever Quina is, Rikku has taken a liking to he/she." Jecht said.

 

"Maybe...she has that preference?" Zidane said aloud and Yuri had to stop himself from spluterring. "Zidane, I'm PRETTY sure Rikku doesn't swing that way." He said to him and Zidane looked at him. "Did you really think I meant it?" He asked him and Yuri stared back. "Would you believe me if I said yes?"

Zidane sweatdropped. "You need a sense of humor y'know that?" He said and Yuri pointed behind Zidane. "Say that to a female thief whose glare is trying to burn a hole in your skull."

 

Rikku stood behind Zidane, her eyes glaring at him. Yuna couldn't help but laugh.

 

"Okay, moving right along!" Zidane said quickly as Yuri chuckled a bit "Quina, you know something about an old site?" Zidane asked quickly as Quina shook it's head. "Me not no way to site...me smell frog!" Quina dashed off in a direction. "Hey wait!" Zidane said as he ran after it.

 

Yuna and the others followed it.

 

Quiabn ran pass some chains to an odl site, effectively breaking them as Yuri looked at the sight. "...Well...that's one way to enter." He noted.

 

"When we reach the Outer Continant, let me guide you to my home." Lenne said, following Quina.

 

"Well, it's better to have somone who knows where to go in that place." ZIdane said and followed Lenne isnide as did the others. "So, what do you think this new place will be like?" Tidus asked aloud and Yuri thought about it. "Well, it'll probably be different to where we live and the customs may be different within the villages, maybe evn stronger monsters." He said thoughtfully.

"Well, I'd would of liked to ride an airship." Tidus said as Yuri chuckled. "What, and waste all your energy without exercising, you lazy bum." He said and Tidus looked at him. "Hey! I'm not lazy!"

 

"The person I'm looking for was very athletic, I was really hoping you were him, but I guess you're not." Yuna said. Rikku whispered to her, 'What is that supposed to mean to him?'

 

Tidus looked at Yuna as he walked backwards. "Hey, I can show what my speed can do!" He said, as if it were a challenge and Zidane looked at him. "Gonna sleep with her then?" He asked with a grin as Tidus stopped and looekd at him, blushing. "H-Hey, I didn't mean it that way!" He said in a surprised response as Yuri looked at Zidane.

"Zidane, that was a bit uncalled for." He said a bit seriously as Zidane looked at him. "Come on, we need some fun with the journey, after all, what would you do in this situation?" He asked as Yuri looked at at the women of the group briefly. "I'd respect the ladies's privacy and feelings on the matter, after all." He said and Zidane looked at him. "You sound like you want to see something happen." He answered as Yuri looked at him.

"I already did but that was by accident, plus I'm already forgiven on the matter." He answered.

 

Dagger looked away, her face deep red.
