Dagger fell asleep.

 

A Black Mage turned around to see Vivi approach him. "Hello. Nice to see you again." He responded to him.

 

"Oh, hi!" Vivi was nervous. "You probably notice the human who was with me. He's not bad, none of them are." Jecht stood out of sight.

 

"They are your friends so I have no reason to distrust them, but I assume you came here for more than introductions?" Black Mage No.228 asked Vivi.

 

"Well, I've never met other black mages like me before, so may I stay with you?" Vivi asked, Jecht sighed, knowing that was coming.

 

"That is up to you to decide little one, but we all live and die the same way as most creatures do, some of us stop completely." 228 said aloud.

 

Vivi stared at him and heard something. Seeing Jecht step out, Vivi was surprised. "Vivi, stay. Live with these black mages. I was just using you for my own selfish reasons. If he stays, will you take care of him until he 'stops'?"

 

"That is not for me to decide human, if Vivi so wishes to stay, he may do so, but he can also travel with your group as well, we do not turn away our kind, despite we suddenly realised our existance, others have not unfortunately." 228 said sadly.

 

"I understand. I just want him to be happy." Jecht told him after Vivi left. "He deserves to be with you guys. I was trying to atone for abandoning my son."

 

"If that is your conclusion human, then I have no right to talk about it." 228 said as the Black Mage stared at the graves of his friends.

 

Jecht looked at the graves and left.

 

Morning broke and soon, Zidane found Dagger in a shop, talking with a black mage. "What's up Dagger?" he asked her.

 

Dagger turned to him. "They've seen Kuja!"

Yuna noticed Jecht and Vivi weren't together as usual.

 

"Really!? Where?" Zidane asked quickly

Yuri stood by the entranc eof the village, strenching himself out, Quina was outside the first, looking for food and Tidus, he was doing a few runs in circles to warm himself up.

 

Dagger asked the black mage where it saw Kuja.

Yuna walked and stood next to Yuri, stretching.

 

The Black Mage talked about the Sanctuary in Conde Petie

Yuri looked at Yuna. "What's on your mind?" He asked her.

 

"I was wondering if Jecht and Vivi had some disagreement, they don't acting the way they usually do."

 

"Maybe it's because of this village, you never see your own kind move about since Brahne was using Black Mages as weapons while these ones look exactly the same as the ones on the Cargo Ship, plus, they did protect him even at the cost of their lives, so I think that act made a impact on vivi more than we originally thought." Yuri said thoughtfully.

 

Yuna nodded and sighed.
