Zidane grinned. "Zidane, professional thief and kidnapper of the Princess." He said as if it were a easy and natural thing to say.

Steiner saluted. "Steiner, Captain of the Knights of Pluto." He said with pride but remembered he just introduced hismelf to Zidane for that, he immediately regretted answering since he knew of Yuna and her two lady friends being assigned to guard her highness when Beatrix or himself wasn't around.

"Yuri, travelling swordsman." he said with a smile.

 

Yuna nodded and smiled, Jecht sighed and laid back.

 

"But Master Yuri, you handle your weapon so well and uphold your honor, you should accompany me in protecting her highness and help teach our knights how good they can become." Steiner reccomended

"Sorry, but I have no wish to teach anyone my techniques, that's someething for me to decide." Yuri responded.

"So, what were you in Alexandria for?" Zidane asked, changing the subject as Yuri chuckled. "At first it was to see the town since it was my first time visiting, also I needed gil to stay at a inn as well as have some gil for my next destination, I honestly wasn't expecting to see the play." He said in honestly

"What about you guys, what are you here for?" Zidane asked them, he figured if they were travelling as a group, it was better to know them for starters so you can trust them to watch your back.

 

"We're looking for someone........." Yuna said, Jecht looked at her in surprise. "Me too. There's someone I need to apologize to."

 

"Hmm...maybe I've come across him in my time with my brothers." Zidane said thoughtfully, then again, he only eyed the girls in Lindblum and easily swayed them.

"You sound like you been everywhere Zidane." Yuri said and Zidane chuckled. "Depends on what boss had planned at the time." He replied.

 

"Did this person have sandy blond hair and blue eyes, wearing a symbol similar to Yuna's?" Jecht asked, Yuna stared at him.

 

Zidane's tail swayed as he thought about it. "Not that I know of." He said in honesty as Yuri raised an eyebrow.

"You're searching for Tidus...?" Yuri asked them from turning his head above his hands with sword still in the ground.

 

"You know him, Yuri?!" Yuna looked at him in surprise, Jecht looked at him.

 

Yuri was a bit surprised he was right. "Know him? He lived with me and my father for a few months." He answered to her.

Zidane looked at her. "So is he your...boyfriend or something?" Zidane asked Yuna.

 

"You could say something like that........" Yuna looked away, her face red from embarrassed. Jecht looked at Yuri, "Did he mention anything strange?"

 

Zidane was a bit disappointed at that response but he heard the princess from the tent.

Yuri laughed a bit, sounding similar to that of the sandy haired boy with blue eyes, "Apart from telling me his story, that's probably it." He answered Jecht.

 

"Your laugh is the same as his......." Yuna sighed, Jecht held her close. "You'll find him, Yuna. Don't worry."

 

"That's what happens when your around a guy who talks about the many strange but weird things in his story as it seemed to be my favourite at the time." He said as Zidane noticed Garnet come out.

"What was the story?" Zidane asked him, curiously as Steiner was a little interested as well as being concerned for the Princess's health.

"I'll just give you a sugar coated version, one man is transported to a entirely different world and from just one day when he awoke, he was washed up into a seaside town, a creature had transported him there and soon the said man came face to face with the young female summoner as he accompnied her to a bustling city and foudn his mentor who told him the reasonas to why he was in this world and said mentor promised the young summoner's father and the boy's to become a Guardian to the summoner, their travels took them across the world, meeting new people, obtaining new summons until they faced the creature that destorys anything unless a summoner calls forth a powerful entity known as the Final Aeon and bring to the world 'the Calm', but the young female and the man with the Guardians defied this tradition and defeated the creature named Sin but at a cost." Yuri explained and Steiner had to ask.

"What was the cost?" He asked loudly.

Yuri closed his eyes. "Before going to obtain the Final Aeon, the man discovered his existence wasn't meant to be as he was a dream but made possible by Sin's transportation and existence, the Fayth which were the summons wanted to stop dreaming and asked for teh summoner and man's help on this task, the cost was...the summons and the man would be sent to a place known as the Farplane,a resting place for the dead and the unfortunate young female summon and the man grew to love each other but in the end, she had to perform the Sending for the summons and without a choice, the man she grew to love so much." Yuri finished.

 

Yuna, Rikku, and Jecht quietly listened, knowing what Yuri was talking about.

 

"So, it's a sad ending." Steiner said and Yuri chuckled a bit. "I wouldn't say that, right now that young summoner female is searching for him even as we speak."

Zidane looked at Yuri. "You sound like you know her." He said and Yuri chuckled again. "Not personally, but through the story, a bit since she's here with a red embarassed face when you asked her about her boyfriend."

 

Yuna blushed and laughed, Jecht smiled. "You forgot something, Yuri. The man hated his father as a child because his father believed him and everyone else wasn't good as him, then he just disappeared. While the man was happy about this, his mother just gave up on life and died." He sighed.

 

"I didn't forget, more like, out of respect for Tidus since it involved his mother and yourself." He said, looking at him.

"You knew?" Zidane asked him and Yuri looked at him. "Of course, the hated old man who'd says he's the best at everything and left, leaving his mother and son unattended and the mother passes away, leaving Tidus to fend and teach himself with a little help from his mentor." He answered.

"Then where is he?" Zidane asked the question on everyone's mind and yuri sat up straight. "Who knows, he left a few months ago to and told me he was going to search for his beloved and I haven't come across him since I left my home." He said, looking up at the sky.

Zidane remained quiet and spoke. "Then I suggest we make for teh cavern to the north of the forest tomorrow." He said and looekd at Garnet. "You can sleep in the tent." he said as Steiner declared he'll guard the Princess throughout the night.

~A few hours later~

Steiner was asleep on his feet as Yuri was wake, it was his shift after Zidane took over for Rusty when he was asleep, so now, Yuri was the only one awake.

 

Everyone was fast asleep, Yuna woke up and sighed. She stared at the sky and sighed.

 

Yuri's eyes heard the noise. "Something on your mind Yuna?" He asked her as he didn't bother to turn around as his back was to her.

 

"I was just wondering if he'd remember me when we'd meet again or Jecht. Would he the same man I fell in love with?"
