    Character Name: Clarity
    Age: 122
    Gender: Female
    Race: Ifrit
    Appearance: Bleep

Backstory: Clarity was born with the curse of a warlock's appearance, but none of the magical abilities. She was fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, in her case, able to understand her predicament from a young age, and seek out help from a warlock, who cast glamours over her in return for services. Clarity was trained by the best to hunt and find her prey, in addition to reading and writing skills that are somewhat rudimentary. In her nineteenth year of life, her mother passed away, allowing Clarity to use the woman's body to find the identity of her father.

Clarity began to hunt for the demon who had sired her, having only a face and a name, leaving it to become her sole purpose in life. She's nearly reached her target, only to have him slip away. With each passing year, Clarity grows more desperate to attain her goal, for no one can assure her how long an ifrit has to live. This desperation has caused her to form alliances and friendships with various people. Clarity can be persuaded to do nearly anything, for the right price. And where her father is concerned, there is no action that cannot be done.

Weapons: A single katana, along with some throwing knives hidden in various places on her body.

    Magic: N/A

Other: Clarity has blue skin, because of which she moves around only at night, or with the help of glamours purchased from warlocks.

    Character Name: Corvo Eismauer

    Age: 43

    Gender: Male

    Race: Nephilim

    Appearance: https://i.imgur.com/5WBa1SV.png

Backstory: The Nephilim are the protectors of humanity, those who watch for dangers and deal with each new threat as it arises. But who watches the watchers? Which agency keeps them in check, and who is it that deals with those that stray from their duty? That is where Corvo Eismauer comes in. Corvo is an Inquisitor who has presided over the trials of many over the years.

He came into the role early on in his time in the Shadow Hunters due to discovering a Nephilim who had been killing and otherwise using humans in tandem with a demon for reasons unknown. He reported the incident after having conducted a thorough investigation of his own accord and, the Inquisitor he informed finding his investigation suitably thorough and believing him to be capable, was recommended for training for the part. Ever since, he has been keeping a close eye on the affairs of his fellow Shadow Hunters, leaving him little room for friendships with other Shadow Hunters because of his role of natural suspicion. In this sense, Corvo earned a reputation for being suspicious of everybody, and almost a zealot in his pursuits. However, his actions have always been within the bounds of the Clave, leaving them with little room to complain.

What is notable about Corvo is that he takes a very personal hand in the tasks he undertakes and, with the permission and assistance of the Silent Brothers and Iron Sisters, as well as the Clave and Council of course, uses very rare and specialised Runes found deep within the Grey Book. These Runes are not allowed for most Nephilim, due to the somewhat cruel nature of them. He is the exception to the rule, such is the degree of trust that they have in him. If he were ever to defy the Accords even once, he would be immediately be turned into a Forsaken as for one who works beyond the standard rules, they must be punished beyond the standard rules.

One of the other notable things about Corvo is his use of a firearm, something highly infrequent in Nephilim circles. His unorthodox and unprecedented access to Runes not available to most Nephilim led him to believe that he also required a non-standard weapon. To this end, by examining human firearms he was able to find a weapon that suited him. As well as being versatile, it suited his methods as he could inscribe each bullet with a Rune before firing and didn't require him to pre-Rune an entire magazine. With a heavy calibre of bullet loaded in one shot, he believed, was all that was necessary.
Weapons: Stele, Hand and a Half Sword-length Seraph Blade (Name - Zahariel), Thompson Contender (Single shot, break action hunting pistol) and the ammunition to go with it.

Magic: Selection of non-standard Runes, in addition to the standard complement.
Rune of Binding - Must be applied directly to a person with a Stele. Causes full body paralysis.
Rune of Pain - Can be applied to objects/weapons to inflict the effect of the Rune. Target's entire body is wracked with pain.
Rune of Judgement - Can be applied to objects/weapons to inflct the effect of the Rune. Informs Corvo of whether the target has broken the Accords in a binary manner - Either they have or have not. The target must be convinced to give more information.
Rune of Amplification - Must be applied to another Rune. Doubles the effect of any given rune, though the rune lasts half as long. Makes the first rune take longer to apply. Does not affect the Rune of Judgement, Silence or Cancellation.
Rune of Silence - Can be applied to objects/weapons to inflict the effect of the rune on the target. Prevents the person from speaking.
Rune of Cancellation - Can be applied to objects/weapons to inflict the effect of the rune on the target. Cancels a Rune's effect.

Other: The Contender currently loads .44 Magnum rounds.

Appearance: Currently in the body of an overweight man with slicked back black hair and a neatly trimmed goatee

    Weapons: A knife and fork
    Magic:
    - Dark Bargain: Can make magically binding contracts with others. As soon as the other person agrees to the deal it becomes a contract they cannot get away from.

Appearance: A pair of grey coloured Owl eyes, black medium long straight hair, tan skin tone, stocky build. Has a pair of Ossicones on his head, he wears a loose fitting white robes
    Backstory:
Seti was born in an age long since past, old enough to have seen the fall of the Western Roman Empire, had he been around the area. He wasn't an ordinairy child as an Ifrit he was born from a human and a demon, sadly he drew the short straw and didn't get any of the magical abilities that generally come with this combo, and thus began the life of Shadi Sands the Ifrit. With little in the way of magic to protect him Shadi started to train in the use of arms, particularly the Khopesh, wielding two of the shortswords simultaneously. He hired himself out as a mercenary to provide himself with coin to get glamours to hide his unusual appearance, something that at a young age he was ashamed of. The Ifrit caught the eye of a particularly powerful individual when he was out on a job, this powerful individual made him an offer all he had to do was swear his undying loyalty to them, and in return he would get glamours to masque himself and a safe place to stay as Shadi had had the habit of ending up in the worst places because of his mercenary path. Shadi agreed and then pledged his services to this individual, serving as a scout and warrior.

Character Name: Glynda Weiss Estelle Eleanor Newfrost

    Age: 343

    Gender: Female

    Race: Fae

    Appearance: http://i.imgur.com/VGUAvBH.png

Backstory: The Newfrost family originated from Ireland millennia ago at the dawn of mythology, an ironic name. Glynda is the latest of her line, and her names reveal the story of her family and where they have been (Ireland, Wales, France, Germany and England). For ease of communication, she recently anglicised her last name to Newfrost from the original Nuasioc. She was tasked by her family to spread their influence to a new place (At least, new to the humans that they knew), and this is the effort she has made for the past couple of centuries of her life.

She was later on the uptake to the politics of the new America based court than others, and so was disadvantaged. However, she has worked her way up the ranks of the Fae to become Emissary to the Nephilim, a position she has held for the past hundred and fifty years. Initially, it was meant as an effort to have her killed off as she would undoubtedly cause trouble with one of the Shadow Hunters, leading to her tragic demise. Despite two notable instances of the sort, she survived both encounters and sent the offending parties back to Alicante with only their pride seriously injured, a game she has started to enjoy. Since that method failed, poisons and other Fae have attempted to remove her but to no avail, largely due to the ice magic that her family taught and the details of which she keeps unknown to others. This has earned a reputation for being hard to kill and as a result, an attempt on her life has not been made in the last fifty years.

Glynda is proud and has been working to improve her position. She aims high, aspiring to one day hold the title of Seelie Queen once Titania made the critical mistake leading to her downfall, though is willing to wait her chance and if necessary, allow others to go before her. Immortality, she reasons, gives her plenty of time to wait. Her intentions she does her best to mask under a façade of tireless devotion to ensuring that Fae/Nephilim relations do not entirely degrade, something that the current Seelie Queen is making rather difficult at the moment. She hopes to cement the place of the Newfrost family in New York, so that her line can be seen as a successful, influential line of Fae globally, across all continents rather than just in the Courts.

Weapons: Solais – A sword passed on by her family to her, said to be based off the Sword of Light of Irish folklore, the place from which her family originates. The weapon is a slender and elegant sword with trefoil designs for the pommel and ends of the crossguard with precious gems inset. The hilt is only long enough to accommodate a single hand and was wrapped in leather with crystalline designs embossed. The sword blade seems to shimmer, and its edge is keen.

    Magic:
Spring: Glynda can control water, moving it and collecting it by extracting the moisture from the air and ground. This works in a ten meter radius around her.
Winter’s Touch: Glynda can control ice, freezing water and shaping it as she desires. This works in a ten meter radius around her.
Daughter of the Winter: Glynda’s ice control extends beyond that of anyone else, able to affect even the inside of her body without causing harm. She can form armour from ice to protect her internal organs, cover herself in it for protection or even freeze toxic substances to vomit them out later. She can exert some control over others, being able to freeze people’s skin cells to create a prison of their own bodies. Or worse. Requires skin to skin contact to freeze others, and can only shield her internals for up to three minutes.
Ice Fairy: A small fairy she shapes out of Ice and animates. They can only survive in a water source. These small creatures act as her eyes and ears and if appropriate a small attacker with their fangs and claws. They cannot leave a water source, but they only need a small amount to live (e.g. a bottle).
Princess Radiant: By using crystals of ice suspended around her, or a thin film across her body, Glynda reflects light to make her appear to shine and offensively, blind her opponents.

    Other: Emissary to the Nephilim

    Character Name: Karl Bardison

    Age: 36

    Gender: Male

    Race: Werewolf

    Appearance: http://i.imgur.com/77JA83h.jpg

Backstory: Karl originated from Norway, where he was turned by a friend of his. He was previously unaware of the condition of his friend, but it soon emerged one fateful full moon when, in a drunken stupor, Karl made his way to Skjoll’s house. He saw the wolf form of Skjoll escaping through the window of his house in the suburbs of Trondheim. There was only one solution to such a thing, and that was either to kill Karl or to turn him. Skjoll chose the latter.

Karl took to his new way of life fast. The life of the Downworlder was intoxicating to him, who had wanted something larger than life. He found it. The wolf form was a thrill to him. His pack in Norway were hunters who went out into the forests and lived the life of the beasts which they shared their forms with. He began to understand his friend’s lifestyle, and why he disappeared for days on end on ‘trips’ with his family or friends. That was 16 years ago now.

However, he found this to be unsatisfactory eventually. Some 12 years ago, he decided that it was high time he moved up in society. His pack fellows, including Skjoll, did not complain about this change of scenery. They wanted to get deeper into the society of the Downworlders, to see new things and even one day become Alpha. With this in mind, Karl and his pack left Norway for New York where they now live, spread out by day in their human lives (For they had learned from their time in Norway how to function as people as well as wolves) but by night convened, to keep the pack strong. More than any of them, Karl is eager to become an Alpha and rule, to make his pack the strongest. A pack for Vampires, Warlocks, the Fae and even the Nephilim to fear and respect.

Karl’s pack never resorted to killing humans and many witnesses met the same fate as Karl and joined the pack. They rarely found themselves in conflict with Downworlders, save some aggressive vampires. They hunted animals outside in the forests to satiate their bloodlust so they did not lose themselves to it. To thrive and dominate was not to be savage, but to control and moderate. In this way, Karl plans to rule the packs through discipline and training rather than bloodlust.

Weapons: To prepare for a fierce competition between the major Downworlder races and other rival wolves, Karl made sure to prepare. He owns an Iron Combat Knife, Silver Combat Knife and Steel Combat Knife to cover most situations that he would face up against. The knives are kept in very secure sheaths and he has a pair of thick leather gloves to protect himself from the silver.

    Magic: N/A

Other: Skjoll Haldorson is the Wolf who turned him.

    Character Name: Cassandra the Hag
    Age: 35
    Gender: Female
    Race: Werewolf
Appearance: Cass is an albino and so has white hair, red eyes and pale skin, in both human form and wolf form. She is missing a left leg, which also carries over to wolf form, and usually goes around in a wheelchair while in human form. Despite her name "the hag" she is quite good looking. She is quite short and is smaller than other werewolves in wolf form.
Backstory: Cass knew about the world of the downworlders before she became a werewolf. She was born into a very mystic family, her mother was a fortune teller (Secretly a warlock, but Cass didn't find this out until much later). Most of her mother's props were junk, but there were a few things passed down the family for generations that actually were magical and she was always told to be wary of those. One of these was a wolf skull, the eyes of which glowed whenever Cass was near. Though she asked her mother many times what this meant she never got a straight answer, although her mother was very wary of it. When she was 14, her mother told her of the hidden world of the downworlders and the shadowhunters and Cassandra was instantly excited by this, she wanted to be a part of this world and tried as hard as she could to uncover it. One day, when Cassandra was 18, the family was attacked by a werewolf. Her mother was injured severely but Cassandra protected herself by holding up the wolf skull protectively. It had an instant effect, the werewolf slunk back and tried to escape, but she locked the doors. After talking to the wolf it transpired he was very superstitious and the wolf skull was evidently some famous ancient artifact.
Cassandra forced the werewolf to turn her into a werewolf and she joined the pack with enthusiasm, although she was nowhere near as powerful as the other werewolves. But Cassandra had another trick up her sleeve to give her an advantage, she knew of the ancient shamanic rituals and artifacts and she used them to great effect. Eventually she was given the position of shaman, a position not often used. However, she was too reckless and after one encounter with a demon her leg was clawed by the pestilent being, giving her a spreading deadly disease. The leg had to be removed, but she carried on regardless, after all, physical strength was not what she was hired for.
Cassandra eventually found a way to remove memories from humans and she used this on her mother so she would forget everything out the downworlders and nephilim, in order to keep her safe. The wounds she'd gained from the night of the attack still impacted her, Cass now keeps good care of her mother in her spare time.
Eventually, after many years, Cassandra became the alpha of her pack, a controversial move that only happened because the other wolves were scared of her powers and she was far more intelligent than the others. Cassandra is a cautious and steady leader, she prioritises the safety and security of her pack above her personal ambitions. However, she now stalking out of the shadows to claim the position of Alpha of New York.
Magic: Though Cassandra does not have her own magical abilities (because she's a werewolf), she does have knowledge of powerful shamanic items and rites.
Other: Sawyer is the guy who attacked them, turned her, and now serves as part of her pack.
