Casey quickly glaced over at Lyra, only for a fleeting second before looking back to Chrizlee. "It's nothing, honestly."

 

Chrizlee gasped, "i know you didnt intend it, but i'v just seen you look at her,, you like lyra dont you?" She whispered quietly smiling

"ok,, well judging by your reaction you do, im not going to tell, but me you and lyra have been friends since 1st year, so do you?" She asked quietly

 

"I've known her longer then that..." Casey sighed, trying to change the topic. But upon seeing her expression he gave in with a weak mumble "Just... Come with me, will ya?" He asked, slowly making his way out of the common room.

 

Chrizlee followed, clambering through the portrait hole

 

"Yes. You're right. I do like her, in fact. I'm pretty certain I more then just like her. I think... no... I know it's more then that. As stupid and as idiotic and as immature as that sounds..."

 

"it doesent sound immature casey, with you and lyra, theres nothing thats different, you two are perfect together" She said grinning.

"She's not thinking of me! She never would! It's all about her and that sh*tbag of a ex-boyfriend of her's who I just know she's still hung up on even if she won't admit it! And there's nothing I can do to change that! I just want her to happy and... and I sure as hell can't do that..." Casey snapped, his voice slowly trailing off at the end.

Chrizlee stumbled backwards from fear of his sudden snap. When she straitened herself back up she said "Well maybe she is still hung up on her d*ckhead of an ex boyfriend, but trust me when i say this, you two will have your time, she will get over him, and then she's realise your the one she loves!!"

 

"But when huh? A year from now? Two, three? Decades? Or never? I'm betting on the last one. And will you stop saying that stuff! It's never going to happen because I can't act on it can I?"

 

Chrizlee bit her lip. "ok well if you want me to shut up then i will, but you should stop picking the latter!! And What cant you act on??" She asked angrily...her fists clenched from frustration and her hair turned glossy black without her noticing
