the new hogwarts kids : fifth year,the truth

"I can't even remember that..." Elle said puzzledly "And I was there I'm certain..."

 

you were there alright..."she said grinning"no wounder you cant remeber it..."

 

"I prob'ley wasn't in a much better state then Jor-Jor himself." She laughed. Conni just rolled her eyes at her daughter.

 

"you werent...but you werent spewing..."she said laughing
"what is it with kids and **** and booze now? nobody did that when we were at hogwarts..."

 

"At least not at that point!"
"Sure they didn't..." Conni said looking away.

 

"yeah!"she said"i can remeber some of it...not all though...but i wasnt like you and jordan..."
"atleast...i dont think they did...if they did...they did it really secretly..."
"Mum...thats the point...dont get caught...duh..."
"that doesnt stop your brother or you at times does it? you've been caught"
she shrugged"i just dont care anymore..."

 

"Yeah.... They..." Conni muttered.

"I never did." Elle cackled running off onto the train before her mother could shout.

 

she laughed"Bye mum..see you at christmas..."lyra said
"bye ly...make sure jor doesnt do anything stupid...please.."
"I will mum...bye dad,coming casey?"

 

"Huh? Right." Casey said snapping out of his daydream and following after.

 

she turned to wave
lily waved back,she smiled

 

"See ya!" Casey waved jumping on the train.
Conni waved back, still worried about both her kids from last year...

 

she leanned out the window and waved
"nothing to worry about but OWLS this year...."she mutterd"i hope...."

 

"Yeah... That's it, OWLS..."

Casey sat down in the carridge watching Lyra.

 

"no dragons...no nothing...just school work...."she said"thank god..."

she gave a last wave to her dad before sitting down

 

"Yeah... I hated 5th year though..." Conni sighed, once again having to grab Ben's hood to stop him running away.

Casey sighed.

 

"so did i...."she said
she lay across the seat

 

"What was it, dead brother, missing boyfriend, two suidicide attempts and three relapses..." She sighed.

"How was the rest of your summer?"

 

"our years in school sucked....bad..."she said sighing

"depressing....most of the family came up and they were all 'oh lyra sweet heart...are you ok? that must've been so hard to do..and go through...' or'oh lyra! that could'e been you that had lost their life!' all when i was starting to get happy,then i'd just go down again"

 

"Very, very bad... Come to think of ity most of my life has..."

"Mine wasn't all that much better..."

 

"yeah..."
"did you get happy the someone'd bring it up agan?"
