Yes you said that right, it means "I am Killer' in english.

 

D: I mean it to say Kira, as the name Kira, as in Desu Noto Kira.

 

Kira means killer. And desu is at the end of a sentance in Japanese.

 

Yes I know but I mean Kira as a name, from Death Note. and again, I know, desu means 'this is', but also 'death'.

 

*sigh* I go to a Japanese class, so I should know. If you are spelling it with katakana(sp) then it's a name.
