    Organization XIII's Rivals
    Chapter 1: The Beginning

"We have all seen them," Vexen spoke, "Late teen-aged people, in black coats!"
"Of course we've all seen them but your theory is a bit paranoid, don't you think?" said Zexion.
"The kid's right," Xigbar responded. "Your idea's a bit... out of whack,"
"I think we should get rid of them, regardless. They're obviously Nobodies, and they obviously don't plan on joining us," Larxene suggested.
"We don't know that yet," Luxord said, "They may be debating whether to ally with us,"
There was long pause. The group of thirteen sensed something, A presense of someone other than the thirteen members, A Nobody not of Organization XIII!
"And," a voice spoke, "We've chosen not," A girl, about Roxas's age, appeared. she was floating in the air, right in the middle of the circle. She floated a bit lower than Xemnas's chair, and her dark green eyes stared strait at his gold ones.
"Actually," She continued, "We've been spying on you for quite some time. I even know some of your names!" She let out a small giggle. "Heh, you," she raised her arm a bit and pointed to the Xemnas,"Are Xemnas, number I."
"How long have you been watching us?" Xemnas demanded.
"Oh, I'm not telling," She let out another small chuckle before disappearing in a cloud of darkness.
    "I told you..." Vexen muttered

Xinaram sat on the top of a tower, facing the southwest. She looked up at the moon, thinking about her past, her day, her job as a member of this Organization. Her blue hair flowed in the wind, and blended with the starless sky.

That was what she missed most. Ever since she came to this castle, she hadn't seen a single star in the sky. It reminded her, the happiness doesn't exist anymore. The emotions she once had, dissapeared, into the darkness of Kingdom Hearts. It wasn't so bad at first, but she was getting to miss her heart more and more every day.
She shook away her thoughts, and jumped down from the roof. The girl strode through the doors leading inside the large castle, and made her way through the halls, to get to her room. A boy stopped her in the hall.
"Hey," he said, "Tomorrow, I need you to spy on Organization XIII again,"
    "Why?" Xinaram responded
"Find out what their trying to accomplish. Have you seen anything strange there?"
"You should see for yourself, oh dear leader." She giggled.
"That sounds like a good idea, Xin. We'll leave tomorrow morning, make sure your up,"
"Oh, I'll be ready. This'll be fun... See you!" Xin walked the rest of the way to her room. Xadyn was left alone.
    "This will be fun..."

Xemnas was at the Alter of Naught, looking up at the glowing, heart-shaped moon in the sky - his, or rather Organization XIII's Kingdom Hearts. It illumunated the entire area, and made his long, silver hair shine brightly.
"My Kingdom Hearts..." he murmured. "Protect us...from this new group of Organization...so that we may be complete at last..."
He closed his eyes, breathing in deeply, before exhaling slowly and turning away, his hair moving softly around his shoulders as he did so.
"Saix," he ordered. "Tell the rest of the Organization members it's time for another meeting."

Gwyxn sat in her room, looking at the wall. She was bored out of her mind; ever since she'd come to the castle after becoming a nobody, nothing really exciting had happened. Except for the other Organization. She'd only heard snatches of information about them, but they had sparked her curiousity.

Axel walked slowly through the monotonously made walls and halls of the Castle That Never Was, twirling one of his chakrams around his fingers, the white and gray colors of the place just as dull and boring as what he was feeling. Ever since the problem with this new rival group, the whole castle has been silent until further notice.

Roxas was nowhere to be found, and after searching for a half-hour, gave up and made his way to the library, looking for Larxene; the only other person he could hold some kind of decent conversation with.

Xemnas was too boring, there was nothing he could talk with him, Saïx he stayed away from...far away, Marluxia just...no, Demyx was too happy and cheerful, Xigbar was annoying sometimes ("As if!"), Zexion was too stuck in his book or himself, Luxord wasn't that interesting, will probably ask him to play some card game which he'll end up winning, Lexaeus barely even speaks, Vexen...Axel just wanted to kill him period, and Xaldin didn't really like him.

So that turns to the dubbed Savage Nymph, who was entertaining in her own way. If he finds her, that is. "Let there be something interesting to happen today, for my swaying sanity..."

Xadyn walked two doors down the hall, to one that read "VI". He lightly knocked on it.
"Number VI, are you awake?" he said softly. When he got a response, (OOC: Obviously she's awake based on your last post, It's s'posed to be late at night.) he said, "Hey, Xin and I are going to spy on Organization XIII tomorrow, she has told me that theere are some interesting things there. Would you like to come?"

Larxene was in the library, standing in front of a bookshelf, as if looking it over for a book to read. In truth, she had came there to find something to read, but then she started to contemplate about what had happened yesterday.
Those group of Nobodies...they were clearly not on their side, as she had already presumed long before, and they were most likely planning to attack them...to kill them, she was not sure.
Larxene normally wouldn't haved cared as much about what they were doing, as she was confident that she would be able to take care of everything when the time comes...but there was something about them that unsettled her...especially, the fact that they could be spying on them, as she had heard that little girl say.
An entire group just like their own...watching them...it was like something out of a movie, but it was actually happening to them.

"Very well, Superior," Saïx obeyed at his order, nodding. If this new Organization proved to be an obstacle, he would be one of the few to dispose of them. No one was getting in the way of obtaining his heart. "Sir, if I may ask, do you have any idea how are we going to deal with this new...intrusion? Or will this be what the meeting is about?"

Returning his chakram back to the darkness from whence it came, Axel stopped as he stood in front of the Castle's amazing and well architectured, as well as huge, library's doubled doors, the only unfortunate effect being that it was the same exact coloring of the castle, with silver handles. Absolutely dull. But much bigger than the one in Castle Oblivion. He vaguely wondered why the library was made to be so big and full of different literature, as the only ones who went in there normally were Zexion, Vexen, and Larxene.

Shaking his head, he touched the cool handle that could be felt even with his black glove covering his hand, and quietly opened it steadily, only enough to fit his lean body in. Axel paused to look around, eyeing the three floor levels full of books and tables, before walking further, the door eerily closing behind him automatically.

It wasn't long before he spotted the Nymph, wandering around a bookshelf, yet not really lookign for anything in particular. She seemed lost in thought, and, taking this to his advantage, briskly and silently walked behind her, and fearlessly pulled one of her antennae to snap her out of whatever she was contemplating. "Yo."

Xemnas looked at Saix and nodded.
"Yes...we must discuss what to do about them...but this time, make sure no one is spying on us...understand?"

Larxene had still been mulling over yesterday's events, when she felt a strand of her hair being pulled. This was when she realized she was still standing in front of the same bookshelf, not even moving.
Hearing Axel's voice, she also realized he was standing there right next to her. Turning to him, she crossed her arms and fixated her icy cerluean blue eyes onto his emerald green ones.
"You know how much I don't like you pulling on my hair, Axel," she said, testily.

"Understood," Saïx replied, bowing politely, before he portaled to do the Superior's orders. He was going to contact the first 6 as he was taught, most of all, then the rest of the members. Perhaps head to Zexion and Vexen, to talk about what protection or walls to put around the Castle to avoid anymore unwanted spying and eavesdropping.

All Axel did was give her one of his infuriating smirks, leaning one hand casually on the bookshelf. Entertaining she was. "That's the reason why I keep doing it, Larxene. Your hair honestly reminds me of a Shadow's."

Zexion was outside, leaning on the balcony, keeping his eyes up on the night sky, "If they try to attack us, we have to be prepared." He thought to himself. "they can't catch us off-gaurd or we're done for." His eyes kept pacing back and forth, looking for any sign of an ambush. "They could attack at any time..."

When Saix had disappeared, Xemnas turned back to the heart-shaped moon. His expression was emotionless like usual, but his eyes reflected a tinge of worry.
    "Kingdom Hearts...protect us..."

"Oh, does it?" Larxene said, dryly. "Well if you keep doing it, one of these days, I'll be tempted to play with one of your fingers." She crossed her arms, a slight smirk crossing her face.

Laying on her bed, Xinaram thought about what Organization XIII. She remembered a blonde girl, who's name was Larxene. 'She said... That they should just kill us....' She thought. 'We'd better be extra careful tomorrow...' was her last thought before she closed her eyes and drifted to sleep.

Saïx portaled out into the balcony, remembering correctly that Zexion said he will be stationed in the Castle's balconies if need for his assistance. Spotting what he was looking for, not waiting to think whether the Cloaked Schemer expected his presence by his smell, he sternly pronounced, "Number VI?"

Axel gave a chuckle, his smirk not withering in the slightest at her remark. "Though I don't doubt you, no one would really, I'd like to see you try." Wanting to switch the conversation, flicking one of her forelocks again just to spite her, with his arrogant tone he stated, "You looked like you were in thought. One piece of munny for you to share? Cause that's how much they're really worth."

He wanted to somehow get a rise out of her, probably enough to start a battle or spar. Axel sorely needed that. And he knew Larxene could provide it.

"Is there something you need, Saix?" Zexion said without turning around, his gaze still fixed upon the sky.

Larxene frowned, giving Axel a piercing glare. "You keep on talking, I'm going to be tempted to do much worse than play with your fingers."
Talking about what she had contemplated earlier, brought the same event to her mind, as she wondered again who those mysterious Nobodies were.

"First, there is a meeting around 10 minutes," Saïx responded, staring hard at Zexion's back, wondering what was on his mind. "Secondly, The Superior orders for some type of solution to avoid being spied on, as well as eavesdropping. If this unknown group gets a hold of our plans, if any, it would prove to our disadvantage. I came to see if you can provide some remedy, so to speak. Maybe...give some type of illusion around the Castle? Mostly on the Throne Room, of course. Is our meeting establishment. Vexen could also give some help with his usual experiments."

"Then why don't you?" Axel cockily challenged, switching his position so he leaned his back on the heavy shelf, crossing his arms. He gave her a blank look. "But really, before we get to that point, I'm curious. What were you thinking? Is it about this new...problem?"

Larxene was surprised how easily he guessed what she had been thinking about, but then again, they knew each other quite well.
"Yeah," she answered. "Remember yesterday? Well they're obviously quite clever, if they're able to spy on us without any of us noticing...I mean, they even fooled Zexion into believing they weren't there."

"It would't be great to underestimate them, true," Axel agreed, with a slight nod to his head. Giving her a sarcastic smile, he raised his eyebrows amusedly. "But, dare I say, do I sense some...anxiousness from you? You wouldn't be...nervous, would you?"

He could tell from her icy eyes something unsettled her, no matter how much she tried to hide it.

Larxene crossed her arms, giving Axel another penetrating glare. "You think I'm nervous? Why would you think that? I should say you're the one who's apprehensive."

"Don't fool with me, Larxene," Axel commented seriously all of a sudden, staring directly at her face, a thin-line replacing his smile. "And, as you so wrongly guessed, I am not 'apprehensive', my dear, just interested. You, however, are nervous. Or something is obviously bothering you. So tell me."

"Ok, i guess i can magically make the throne room dissapear as soon as the meeting starts... But i won't be able to hold it up very long mind you, especially if I'm expected to be a part of the meeting." He turned around and started walking inside. "I'll keep looking for a way to stop the eavesdropping, and a way to prevent any future intrusions." He said with a sigh.

Gwyn looked over at the door, grey eyes glimmering with interest. Things had been really boring around the castle lately, and it would give her something to do....it was obvious what her answer would be. "Sounds absolutely bubbly. I'll come with you two. What time do we leave tomorrow?" she called to Xadyn.

Saïx intently gazed at Zexion for a moment, almost wanting to know what was in the young man's mind. Almost. However, he had to alert the other members, and this wasn't time for so called "chit-chat". Four out of the 10 minutes he was given were wasted by now. "Very well. I'll leave it to you. We can talk this over more in the upcoming conference. If you can, try to spread word of the meeting around, especially to Vexen. It would be easier for us."

He slightly turned his head to him, "And don't stress, NUmber VI. They will not get in our way."

Larxene looked directly at Axel and said, firmly, "Nothing's bothering me. I'm just wondering how the Organization is going to be able to handle an enemy such as this. Of course, I have no doubts of myself, but rather, I just feel concerned about the rest of the members."
Larxene could really care less about everyone else, as for some reason, she didn't want to tell Axel what really made her so nervous.

"Bullsh*t," Axel easily marked her words, his constant smirk grazing his flawless face once again, his tone ever arrogant. "How the Organization is going to take care of this, it will be known. The members here are very capable, I thought you would have more faith. And you rarely care for them, Larxene. So they're not really your 'concern'. So are you going to tell me, or do I have to guess again? Hmm?"

Larxene was starting to feel quite annoyed with his arrogance, and crossed her arms once again. "You wouldn't be able to guess it this time."

Zexion walked around. "So Axel and Larxene are in the library." He walked inside and found the two of them, bickering near one of the shelves. "I'm afraid whatever juvenille argument you two are having this time will have to be put on hold. There's a meeting in about 6 minutes." He said to them.

Demyx was sitting in his room, tuning his guitar. 'I wonder what all this is about a new Organization...' he thought nervously. Come to think of it, other than the few things he had heard from other members, no one had filled him in on much of the situation.

Saïx went to portal in and out of different places, telling whatever members he could find about the meeting ahead. Luxord was aware, Xigbar too, he managed to find Roxas outside of the Castle, training by using the Heartless and low Nobodies as his victims, Xaldin and Lexaeus as well, and Marluxia was found tending to his garden. All that were left were Axel, Larxene, Demyx, and Vexen, which he'll leave for Zexion to deal with.

"Alright then, I'll go in the Throne Room," he said, portalling one last time for a long while, wondering if Xemnas was already patiently waiting for the rest.

"Ah, ever the serious and party crashing person, aren't you, Zexion?" Axel nonchalantly commented, sighing as if disappointed. He straightened up from his comfortable poise. "I'll be there, just give me more time for our 'juvenile argument'. Six minutes is all I will need."

"Wrap it up fast. I need to get working on an Illusion, so I'll need you to inform Demyx and Vexen. Now, don't forget." Zexion said as he made a portal to the throne room.

"Hmph," Larxene remarked, "I don't know about that, Axel."

Xemnas was waiting in the Throne Room, and he watched as the other members had portaled in.
Only a couple of more minutes... he thought, anxious for the meeting to begin.

"Superior, sir," Saïx called, portalling into his respective chair, calmly resting one hand in the arm rest. "The members have been informed."

"Why don't you, for once, shove down your stubborn attitude, and simply explain?" Axel questioned calmly and cooly, though his patience was wearing thin. "Maybe you're actually afraid? Afraid that you will lose. Maybe you're worried about whether we fail, or thinking of what can we do with this new group. I can guess, but I can't go into your mind, Larxene. So why don't you enlighten me?"

"Excellent," Xemnas remarked. "We shall begin as soon as the two other members arrive."

"I am not afraid," Larxene said, frowning. "You can be certain of that. Maybe I am nervous, maybe I'm not. Whatever it is, why must you know?" She hesitated, as if giving him a chance to retort back, but then she continued. "I mean, what if I'm just concerned that our enemy...may be stronger than us? And we'll actually have a difficult time? Does this really matter to you?"

"Hmmm.." Xadyn thought for a second. Let's leave around...10:30. They will be awake by then. Be careful tomorrow, We can't let them know we're there. If they notice us, we're dead. Don't let that happen, understand?"

Xin was stirring in her sleep. Something was bothering her...

"Sir," Saïx murmured. "There are actually four members left to come. I'm guessing Zexion got them all?"

He raised a brow at the said Nobody questioningly.

"Honestly? Not at all. This enemy might be stronger, but unlike you, I know what this Organization is capable of," Axel explained, narrowing his eyes at her. He had definitely gotten what he came for to waste his free time, but it turned out more interesting than his expectations. "And I must know, because you peeked my...fascination, Larxene. But very well...don't worry your psychotic pretty head over it."

He swiftly started to walk away from her, but not before he gave her a triumphant, cat-like grin. "Oh, and for your sniping at me, you get to inform Vexen as your prize. Ciao."

And he immediately portalled out to Demyx's room.

Larxene crossed her arms and angrily muttered something under her breath. "Oh, I'll be sure to warn Vexen alright," she said to herself, as she portaled to Vexen's room.

Xemnas nodded. "Zexion has informed them, and they have arrived."

Axel made himself comfortable in his chair, a smile of pure satisfaction on his face. Satisfied, because he got what he wanted, and got to have the last word concerning his discussion with Larxene. Demyx portalled in with him, and kept his eyes on the Nocturne until he sat down. His attention didn't last on him long, however, as he ran his green eyes over to Roxas' usual sitting place, and gave him a playful deadly glare for his disappearance.

Getting to his position, one hand covering his mouth, and the other holding his elbow below, he waited for Xemnas' word, giving a one second look to Larxene to see her expression, before turning back to the Big Boss.

Saïx looked around at the full faces, and sent the Superior a nod. They could finally begin.

Larxene had gotten Vexen there, but as she was in such a foul mood, that she had given him a little zap to urge him on. So when Axel had arrived, she had on somewhat of a complacent expression...although Vexen wasn't looking so good.

"Make certain that no one is listening in on us first," Xemnas announced.

Demyx boredly leaned in his chair, waiting for Xemnas to start talking. The long meetings the members had were usually not that exciting, aside from the interesting disputes every once in a while.

Gwyxn rolled her eyes at the door, but replied, "Got it. I'll try not to draw any attention to myself."

"Number VI," Saïx adressed, not having taken his eyes of him even when Xemnas' announcement was given, "You have heard the Superior. Have you done what I asked of you, or do you need more time?

Saïx sat back, forgetting his inquiry, and simply waited for anything else.

Axel held back a yawn, suddenly feeling weary. Though the World That Never Was has never seen the grace of sunlight, it was still known that it was pretty late for a meeting. At least, from their usual sleeping time, it was.

"What do we know about our enemy?" Xemnas asked. "Aside from what we do know...I have thought of a plan to counter them, but first, does anyone else have a plan in mind?"

Demyx surpressed a yawn, boredly waiting for Xemnas to continue speaking.

Xadyn smiled. "Thank you. I hope your looking forward to it."

Number VIII's eyes blinked open. She couldn't sleep. She couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong! She needed to get some sleep for her mission tomorrow, but she just couldn't! Nothing she did would chase off that feeling. She turned and lookd at her clock. 3:00 AM. Everyone would be asleep by now. She would have to warn them in the morning...
She set her alarm for 8:00 AM, and turned around. She was almost wide awake, but tired at the same time. Xinaram closed her eyes, and thought about how, her missions had never failed before, and her Useful ability would get her out of any bad situation. These positive thoughts helped her finally drift back to sleep.

"Very well," Xemnas sighed, as his brilliant scheme wasn't very well planned out...as he didn't have enough information on his enemies. "Our enemies...tomorrow, we must find them and discuss what exactly they want...if they want to kill us, ask them why...always be on guard, and don't trust them, no matter what they say...does everyone understand?"

Zexion sat in his chair with his eyes closed, needing complete concentration to both keep up the illusion, and absorb everything that Xemnas was saying.

Axel listened intently in his usual sitting position in his throne-like chair, debating whether to speak his opinion or not. He usually never did, and stayed silent as the meetings progressed, unless he was directly asked or spoken to.

Thinking over a few things, quite hesitantly, he finally spoke, "Sir, what if they don't want to speak? What if they do want to get rid of us? I think we should get more information on these new Nobodies, and their group, before taking any action. One of them blatantly admitted that they aren't on our side, and thus, are a thorn in the way of our goal. Even if they tell us their reason of what they want, if they want to kill us, and why, it can all turn on us. It could lead to fighting, as we don't know what their answer will be. We can't go in without knowing who they are and what their powers are. And I really doubt they will easily let us know. They've already been spying on us...and we don't know how much they've gotten. They probably know our names, our numbers, our elements, our personalities...

What I'm trying to say, if my suspicions are correct, I don't think we will need to look for them tomorrow. They'll come to us. To spy again, I'm guessing. How can we be prepared?"

Saïx, if he had a heart, would have undoubtedly been surprised at Axel's thinking, let alone hearing him speak first. He eyed the Flurry Of Dancing Flames, studying him closely, and wanting to hear The Superior's response to this assessment.

Demyx watched Axel curiously. He'd never seen the redhead speak first, let alone speak without some sort of sarcastic comment.

Gwyxn rolled over in bed, looking up at the ceiling, before leaning over and looking back at the clock. It was still late at night, she was anxious about checking out the other Organization and her insomnia she'd been having for the past few days hadn't helped at all.

    *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
Was the sound of Xin's alarm as it sounded, telling that it was eight A.M. She slid out of bed and got dressed, walking down the hall to see if her "dear leader" was awake. He was, so she climbed down a few flights of stairs to get to the dining room, where many members usually were in the morning. He was there, ut number VI was, too.
"Hi Xadyn, Hey Gwyxn." Xin greeted.
"Good morning, Xin. Are you ready?" Xadyn responded.
"Yeah, just about. But something's been bothering me... I keep having this feeling that something's wrong; it kept me up last night," Xin continued. She had a worried tone of voice."We had better be extra careful. Did you get any sleep?" he asked.
    "Uh, yeah." Xin responded.
"Good. As soon as you're ready, Gwyxn, we'll leave,"
"But, wait. I thought we were leaving around 10:30? It's only about 8:10!" Xinaram exclaimed."Hmmm... Well, I guess I could use some time to think of a plan," Number I stated.
    "Or four," Xin giggled.

Kuxah walked around the base. “This is strange..............How Can that Zexion have the same powers as me“! Kuxah slammed the table in the kitchen. “grrrrrrr!!!!Next time i see him i will make him fade“!

Xemnas was silent for a moment, as if thinking over what Axel just said. At last the Superior spoke. "You are correct...more than likely, they will come to spy on us again...so today, we will have a false meeting. We wll pretend to form a plan, and we will take advantage of what we expect them to do...and Zexion...keep a sharp look out for any 'scents' you pick up. Subtly let us know how many there are, and then, if there are only a few, we can try to capture them..." He glanced at Saix as if to ask his opinion of this plan.

Saïx simply nodded in agreement. "That's a very nice execution, Sir. Of course, I recommend all of us to be hardened and prepared for what comes. As Number VIII has stated, we do not know their power, or weapons. They can pull anything."

He eyed everyone one of them with calm danger. "Is that understood?"

I just want to get into my bed, Axel thought to himself plainly, stopping another yawn. If he wanted them to be "prepared", they needed their rest, and be able to operate with their best of capabilities. But for a moment, he wondered idly what made him give out what he thought to the rest. Something he has never done, if so, rarely.

His faith in the Organization didn't waver. But Larxene's point that they might be a force to be reckoned with needed attention. And his.

"Now that we understand what we must do," Xemnas said, "I advise we all get some rest. I will call everyone into back here later...do not forget the plan and take what I say seriously."

Larxene had listened, somewhat attentively to Xemnas's entire plan. She was surprised that Axel had actually given the Superior a good plan, but then again, the Flurry of Dancing Flames was always quite clever. However, she was still a bit upset at him to commend him for anything really at the moment.
She glanced over the red-head and noticed he appeared a bit sleepy. She was quite tired herself, but she had no plans to go to sleep so fast, despite the Superior's command...

Saïx blinked, his weary body even getting to him. He knew he needed the most rest he could take, just in case his Berserker side awakened, that usually left him exhausted for a time. Giving one last nod to Xemnas, he portalled out to go to his private quarters, only not before saying, "Until further notice, Superior."

Axel eyed Roxas with piercing narrowed eyes, still quite upset that the kid made him walk to look for him, when he was outside all along. All the blond did was give a sheepish smile of apology, before he retired to his own room. He'll deal with the twerp later then.

Giving a sigh, he attentively felt someone's eyes on him, and following their eery aura, he was quite startled to find that it was Larxene, if he said so himself. Axel presented her with his infamous smirk, wanting to see why she hasn't left yet like the others have.

"Or thirteen." Gwyxn joked, remembering the other Organization they were spying on later. She looked over at Xin curiously "So, you said you had a bad feeling about something?" She was used to the members having bad feelings or deja vu sort of moments, but neither Xin, Xadyn, or her had any in a long while. Gwyn was actually surprised she was up this early, but her odd insomnia had been keeping her up late and waking her up early.

"Yeah, I think we should be really careful about today's mission. Don't make a sound, and don't let them see you! We don't know what their planning," She responded. "But," Xadyn stated, "That's what we're going to find out. This will be fun," Changing the subject, he said,
"We need to start in a small area. Then we'll move around, possibly getting to biggre areas as we go. Stay away from doorways, unless your going through them of course. And, most importantly, if you get seen, get out of there! I don't care where you go, as long as its away from there, and we can contact you," Xadyn explained."Good idea." Xin said. "But I doubt we'll be seen," She turned and looked at the clock. 8:45. "The best idea, would be for you to come here if you get seen. Wait for us, and if we all get seen, we'll try again in a few hours." He continiued. He had to admit, he was nervous. He sighed, "Are either of you nervous? I am..."
"Yeah. But I can't wait, at the same time!" Xin giggled.

Gwyxn giggled. "Yeah, I'm totally nervous, but hey! It's something to do, right? Anything else I need to know?" she asked the two curiously, grey eyes glimmering with interest.

"Hmmm," He thought for a moment. "Nope, that about covers it. But I'm sure you guys could use some time to prepare," He looked over at the clock, 9:15. "You have two hours. come here when you're ready," He said, then went to get ready himself.

Xin, however, was all ready. She sat at the table with her arms folded, and closed her eyes. 'What could they be planning?' she thought. 'What if they expect us? I just can't get it off of my mind...' She opened her eyes, a worried look on her face, although she was just hiding the non-existence of her emotions...

    Organisation XIII Rivals
    Chapter 2: Division By Race
Gwyxn noticed Xangel walking boredly around the room and gave the girl a cheerful wave before portaling back into her room. Staring at the white walls of her room, she sat down on her bed and dangled her legs over the edge of it boredly. Truthfully, she was pretty excited about the mission; well, as excited as something with no emotions could be.

Xin still had that sad, worried lie on her face when she portalled to her room. She took off her coat and hung it up, before sitting on her bed, with her arms folded. before she realized, her clock already read 9:45. She sighed, she just wanted to get it over with. She portalled to the table they were sitting at before, and waited for the others. In 15 minutes, Xadyn was there, too, but nothing was said.

Looking over at her clock, Gwyxn realized that she still had time before she had to go meet with the group, but she was bored out of her mind sitting her. She shrugged and portalled back downstairs, where she saw Xin sitting at a table. "Hey."

Xinaram let out a sigh. "Hey," she said.

"Hey, cheer up. We're just peeking in...plus, it's not like we're going to get catch. We're smarter than that." she told Xin, smiling brightly.

Xin showed a small grin. "Thanks," she said. "Hey, Xadyn, since we're all here, should we get going?"
"Yeah, lets go. Xin, you know the castle best. Lead," he commanded.
"Yeah, sure," She said. She raised her hand a bit, and a corridor of darkness apeared. She and Xadyn stepped through it, Patiently waiting for Gwyxn.

Gwyxn quickly followed the two, eager to see what the castle looked like.

They passed through the darkness, and entered a large room with bright, white walls. A strange symbol was visible on a few of the walls. She whispered, "That's apparently a Nobody symbol. They use it to represent their group." They walked forward, and they saw a moon, but it was shaped like a heart. "That, is Kingdom Hearts. It is a collection of hearts that gather when one is released from a Heartless," She whispered. There was no one around that they could sense, but she could never be too careful.

Gwyxn looked up at the heart shaped moon. Xin had called it Kingdom Hearts, which obviously made sense since the giant thing was basically a kingdom of hearts collected into one. "This place is pretty white..." she muttered softly, rolling her eyes.

Reixa portalled to the location, and everyone turned to look at her. They were aggravated at her late appearance, but she shrugged it of and stood next to Xin.

"What took you so long, Rei?" Gwyxn asked her quietly. She was surprised that the girl had gotten here so late; Reixa usually got to things around the same time she did.

Umm, s-slept too late," Rei said nervously. Her eyes darted back and forth as the number of eyes watching her decreased. Everyone forgot about it and continued toward their goal.
"You went back to sleep?! No wonder you're late, come on."Gwyxn said.

Xin let out a small chuckle at the last comment. She silenly walked along the walls, peeking through a doorway to see if anyone was there. No one. She walked through, using the air to cushion her steps, and make them quieter. Other than that, she hardly looked like she was trying to stay quiet. She knew where to go, how to get to thier meeting room. She opened a corridor of darkness, leading to the meeting room, but didn't go all the way through. She didn't want them to know that they were there, and she didn't need to go all the way to hear what they were saying. She didn't even know if there was anyone in the room, to find out what she needed, she could wait a couple hours.

Reixa folded her arms and scoffed. she gets to do everything. I know I'm just as good as she is. Regardless, Rei went her own way and opened a portal to a room near the meeting room. I wouldn't dare go directly there, like some people. This was her nature of course, going her own way and thinking that it was better.

The darkness concealed their presence. If Reixa went the way she did, she was sure to get caught!
"Gwyxn, go get Rei. You know how not to get caught, don't, and bring Rei back here," She whispered. "I would go, but I have to se what Oganization XIII is up to,"

Gwyxn nodded. "Got it." She portalled in the direction Reixa had gone, being sure to move quickly, but quietly. "Rei, what are you doing?" she hissed, grabbing the girl's arm.

Gwyxn grinned and quietly told her, "Come on and join the party; Xin and everyone is waiting for you."

Axel rolled around on his crimson sheets, waiting for Xemnas' order to come to this fake meeting of theirs. He was already in his Org. black coat, as all of the members were, just like they were all awake, waiting for word of when to come to the Throne Room. He questioned whether this new Organization were now treading their halls in their Castle. For some reason, the fact that there were intruders in the only place he could call "home", annoyed him, is like they were trespassing into their privacy. Axel couldn't even be calm, but alert to his surroundings, just in case they somehow made their way into his room. He never had to do that. The again, he never spoke at a a meeting either.

Calm down, calm down and wait...Axel repeated to himself in some kind of mantra. He had been getting impatient, and just wished they could get this started already.

Saïx simply sat on his desk in his quarters, which was somewhat bigger than the other members, as he was Second-in-command. The Superior was probably taking a bit long to see what kind of plan can work into their hands, and their advantage. It was a hard task. However, he was patient, and kept his ear out for anything he heard unexpectedly. These people...they were intruding.

    He didn't like intruders.

Xinaram was getting impatient. "Gwyxn, Rei, I need you to make another trip for me. You know where we are, go and see if you can find out what they're doing. If you find anything, come back and tell me. And, just to be safe, come back within the next five minutes, even if you don't find anything."

Gwyxn nodded. "So just look around the castle and tell you if I see anyone?" she asked.

"Yeah. And don't get caught, of course. 'Cause then we'd have to go through all the trouble of rescuing you," She said with a chuckle.

"Not only that, you dunder head," Reixa said jokingly with a smile. "We need to be extremely cautious. But, I doubt they have anyone looking for us, they don't appear to be very smart. Regardless, let's go."

Gwyxn grinned. "Me? Get caught? Never. See you guys in a few." She portalled away, careful to concealed in darkness.

"Heh, Yeah. Don't underestimate them, though. You never know." Xin responded.

"Don't worry, I'll behave," Reixa said in a menacing way. "Gwyxn and I will stall close enough to communicate in some way." Rei stepped back and emersed herself in a portal.

"Following you and Gwyxn, on orders." She seemed to strut past her and broke into a run after Gwyxn at the speed of light. "Hello, ready?" she asked. Rei looked back to see

Gwyxn nodded. "Yup. Now let's see where everyone hides out in this castle..."

"Oh, I don't know. Wanna look around? This could be fun. Just don't get caught. We don't know much about them yet. Oh, or you could just ask him..." Rei said, summoning her Cresent Moon staff

"This'll be loads of fun. Wait...we don't even know who has the same numbers as us, do we?" Gwyn mused.

They're all in their rooms waiting. I can sense them and hear them actually I hear them and no we don't.
    Xangel whispered.
"What are they waiting for?" Gwyxn wondered. She'd figured at least a few people would be out and about.

"Still, don't let your guard down." Axel's is pretty strong, we must be near him

Must be waiting for us. that's too bad for them. Heh Axel's the most restless.

"Our time is almost up, let's not do anyhing. Just go back and tell the boss what's up. Got it? Let's go."

Gwyxn nodded and disappeared into the darkness to where the others were waiting.

Aww man this place is huge it'd be great to run around in it.
She portaled to where everyone was.

Rei left, reluctantly, following her own advice for once. She met up with the others.

We tell Xinaram about this, straight away. If he knows we are witholding information, it would mean our heads. Either that or tell Xin."

Gwyxn nodded. "Besides, there's no real point to withhold information anyway."

True enough," Reixa said with a small laugh.

"Man, this is a drag. I wish we could actually DO something. Maybe once we get to Xin this plan will finally come into action."

Xinaram sighed. She was getting more impatient, and the two had stayed silent since they were in the dark. 'Man, where is everyone? I'm so bored...' She thought.

She looked up. "Oh, hi..." She sighed. "Did you find anything at all?"

"We think some of them are up and about, particularly Axel."

Xemnas was at the Altar of Naught again, staring up at Kingdom Hearts.
    It's time... he thought.
"Saix," he ordered. "Tell all of the members to assemble in the Throne Room immediately."

    Saïx bowed. "As you wish."

Axel gave one last sigh, before he proclaimed he was bored, almost like he always was in the Castle That Never Was. What was taking the Superior so long? Those rats were probably here now, scurrying around their Castle, and they're wasting time.

With a grunt, he sat right up, and got off the bed. Axel wasn't going to wait any longer, though he didn't really want to leave his room...what if they come in? He checked around diligently. There was really nothing interesting, or nothing out, everything was either in the closet or in the drawers, and his bed was unmade, which was going to stay that way since he didn't feel much like tidying it up. Whistling a random tune, he made his way towards his door, opening it, and going outside into the halls, to the floor level were all their rooms were stationed. He stared behind him at the number that was placed on top for everyone's convenience, "VIII". Every member had that, because this floor was a huge circle, basically, the doors to their quarters stuck in the wall going round, and in the middle was a hole where the stairs were placed. Unless you wanted to get dizzy, it was good to find your door easily.

Though he transported to Havoc's Divide instead of using the stairs, a round balcony showing the outer view of The World That Never Was. They had a lot of those, though it wasn't like this world was so special except for the heart-shaped moon in the sky. He could've talked to Roxas, but they would be loud as they laughed and hung out, and he didn't want anyone to know he was breaking a order. Not now, anyway.

The moment he got there, however, his senses were on high call, and he walked carefully around, not letting his guard down. Just in case.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are," he sang quietly to himself with a piercing smile, not knowing what else to do. Then he just went to whistling the jingle.

Reixa stood with Gwyxn and Xin in a long hallway. Reixa leaned against the wall and sighed. "Are we going to do anything? ...Wait, I hear something." The others looked at her quizically. "No, really. I can hear...someone...whistling."

"Saix," Xemnas ordered. "Tell the members to assemble immediately for a meeting."

Gwyxn listened for a second. "I hear it too. Someone's coming this way." she told Reixa quietly, not wanting to be heard by the person heading their way.

Axel continued to whistle, sometimes singing the song again, and just going back and forth. If they were here, they could probably hear his voice, and that's what he wanted. So, he aimed the volume of the whistle higher, as he chuckled to himself.

Something in the back of his mind told him to return to his room, that now was the right time to go back, but he ignored it. Axel wanted to see what could happen first.

Saïx just nodded, as he portalled out, and appeared in the circular floor where their rooms were...where Axel just was, but he didn't know that. He stood in the hall, gathering his chords, before he shouted, surprisingly very loud and his deep voice booming, "The meeting is about to commence! Everyone report to the Throne Room immediately! I repeat, the meeting is about to begin!"
"Took long enough..." Demyx set his sitar over in the corner and portaled down into the throne room, just wanting to get the meeting over with.

Gwyxn blinked. Why was the idiot humming louder? Did he want them to know he was here or something?

Larxene transported to the Throne Room, where most of the other members had already assembled...but where was Axel?

"Make sure everyone knows the meeting had begun," Xemnas announced, subtly implying who 'everyone' truly was.

Saïx gazed around, seeing everyone and finding one member missing. Axel. But that can't be, surely he must have heard him?

At this, he looked at Xemnas with a serious expression. "I went to the BedRoom Floor, and as you bid, I stated that the meeting was about to begin. Everyone should have been in their quarters by your orders, Sir. Unless...Number VIII...."

He left that sentence hang. Saïx wasn't stunned in the slightest at the member's actions, and not that he could be even if he tried. He just wished Axel wasn't doing anything stupid, the troublemaker he was.

Axel was now looking over the rail of the balcony, still whistling and waiting to spot someone who didn't belong. And who wasn't suppose to be here. A gut sense told him they were close...so close, but they were probably hesitating, counting how long they were taking.

Getting tired of keeping it so undercover, he decided to go for the loop, and sang, his tone mocking and harsh, "Come out, come out wherever you are, little spies!"

"What should we do, Xin?"Reixa asked. Xin looked at her and nodded. Rei smiled. "Very well than, if I can." Rei turned around and closed her eyes. She held her arm out in front of her and summoned her cresent moon staff again. She whispered inaudible words and in a blink she was gone. "Did it work?" she asked. Xin told her that it did, to Rei's delight. She had used the power of her staff to become invisible, allowing her to investigate the humming person. Even though she could not be seen, she could still be heard. She would have to be careful.
She quietly made her way down the hallway and turned the corner. A long upwards staircase came into view. She could see that the room above was white. Then she saw him, Axel, Making his way down the stairs. He seemed to enjoy taking the stairs instead of portaling.

Xin was a bit surprised. He knew they were there. She concealed herself in the darkness, though, and portalled to behind Reixa. She hissed, "get back! he can sense you!" And concealed herself again, like she was never there. The yell for the meeting seemed to be ignored, by everyone. SHe portalled next to Gwyxn. "Hey, I need you to go to the meeting room. Make a portal, but don't go all the way through. Remember, be silent! They can hear everything you say!" She whispered, almost silently.

Reixa, regretful, followed orders and went back. She cursed in her thoughts.

"Don't worry, I won't be noticed." The bubbly blonde created a portal to the meeting room and went through, but stayed inside it, waiting for the meeting to begin.

Saïx began to get restless the moment he said his words, not expecting this type of predicament. Number VIII, where are you?

Axel was not in a very good mood, as he got out of Havoc's Divide, and went walking to Twilight's View, slowly going down the see-through glass stairs under his feet. This was one of his favorite parts of this whole damn Castle, it had a nice, modern feel, and around him was the color blue. It was fine as long as it didn't have that monotonous color of white.

He was getting irked, and he had half a mind to go back to his room and leave this off, but no. His desire to see who were these people wouldn't be fulfilled, and he couldn't have that. Trying a different tactic, he thought of the person who appeared in one of their meetings...what was her name, Xinaram?

Shrugging with a wild grin on his face, he called out, "Hey! Is this Xinaram girl with you guys? Why don't you all come out of your little hiding places!" He paused, and thinking that maybe one was prideful enough to be insulted, he easily added, "Oh, I'm so flattered! You're scared of little old- me?"

Rei gritted her teeth and looked over at Xin. She gave a sharp look at Reixa as if to say 'Now don't you lose your temper'. Rei looked away and back towards the voice.

Axel mockingly laughed, a empty sound of mirth, stopping at one of the glass platform that simply lead to the other flights of stairs. He wasn't one to give up, and he wasn't until he sees one of them. At least one. He crossed his arms, a confident smirk on his face, "Well, isn't that neat, you really are scared of me! Not that you can really feel scared, but you get the point, don't you? Tsk. And here I thought this new rival would be a fearless bunch! So sad.

You wouldn't even give the pleasure of seeing one of your faces? Or are you going to keep hiding like the intruders you are? I just want to speak....I don't bite. Much."

"Saix..." Xemnas ordered. "Get Axel here now."

What is Axel doing? Larxene wondered, as she gazed at his empty place. He better not be doing anything reckless...if he is though...

Xin held a chuckle. "Hmm. He knows my name!" She whispered. "You guys, stay here. You don't need to be noticed." She stepped forward, out of the shadows.
"Hah! I see you know my name, Axel." She wasn't surprised at all.

Being inbetween both the meeting room and the room where the others were, Gwyn took turns listening to both conversations.

Rei hated being told to stay behind, but kept her location hidden. Axel seemed like a real wise crack, another thing she hated. SHe couldn't help but smile though when Xin spoke.

"As you wish, just as I do," he replied, but with a glearing and deadly tone, as he portaled out to find their missing pryomaniac. It was useless to say that Saïx did not appreciate things going wrong, which in return gets him into a very bad mood, and once he finds Axel....

He better not be messing things up. That's what he seems to be unfortunately good at.

Axel raised his eyebrows cockily at the girl before him, relieved that one finally came out. That was all he wanted, and it took him way too long. He gave her a nasty grin, his voice nothing short of amused and sarcastic, "Well, I would obviously do, considering how you spelled it out for us before. Took one of you long enough to appear. What was the hold up, I wonder?"

"Hmm," She said, "I can't remember telling you. Oh well. You know now." She chuckled. Ignoring the last question, she said, "Don't you have a meeting to go to? Not that you care." She smirked, and summoned a weapon.

Reixa grinned from ear to ear. Kick his arse, Xin.

Gwyxn grinned from her spot as she heard Xin withdraw her weapons, rooting silently for her.

"Wait, wait, relax..." Axel coolly said, not in the least bit fazed, raising his hands up as to emphasize what he was saying. He brought them down, a arrogant aura surrounding him. Giving her a malicious smirk, he stated, "You're right, I don't care for meetings. It seems like we know a little about each other. How nice. And as much as I would love to fight you, I want to ask you 2 questions. Would that be alright with your, ever alarming presence?"

Saïx transported yet to another room, and the more he did, the more he began to get impatient. And that wasn't a good thing.

    She called silently to Xin.

How come you get all the fun? We could've played fire to fire...

She giggled, but didn't dismiss her weapon. "Oh, sure. I'm in no hurry."

"Cool," Axel simply replied, the same expression left on his handsome face. If the meeting started, they were probably wondering where he was, as well as send somebody to find him. But he'll have to get off when he returned, once they know that his disappearance wasn't in vain, and that he wasn't simply calling out for trouble. Not much, at least.

Remembering what Xemnas had said, and looking directly and intently at this little girl's face to see any trace of lying, he asked, "First off, what exactly do you want with us, or, what are you looking for?"

"That should be obvious. What does every Nobody want? We were looking for the same thing as you, you guys just got to it first. We spent a lot of time searching for what you have, just to find that you have it. And I'm sure you can guess what it is..." She answered.

Axel just nodded in understanding. He figured as much, but he needed one more question to ask before he could have his FUN. Already "feeling" the rush flow throughout his nonexistant body at the thought, his jade eyes going into slits as he grinned bloodthirstily. "Good. Next one, and we'll have our little short battle. Are you looking to kill us, and if so, why? Considering what you want, I'll say you want Kingdom Hearts for yourselves, but I do want to hear if it's something else from your own mouth."

Saïx found himsef landing a hard punch to the wall next to him, snarling. He already checked the places where Axel could be, but now was the time to be practical. A sense was beckoning him to Twilight's View, perhaps his heightened hearing guiding him.

And having no other choice, decided to make his way there.
