The Overthrow of Busistocaria

Rosalie entered the room Vallyn was in.

 

Alchemist's Fire, all nine explosive orbs, paused in mid air. He stared at Roselie. "Close and lock that door, and sit here." He demanded, knowing she wouldn't see him. He outlined the chair with faerie fire, the harmless purple flame released no heat. "Here." He said, like a shadow telling its provider the right direction. He waited.

 

Rosalie nodded and did as she was told, she walked over to the purple flame lit chair and sat down, abit nervous, she waited for what was coming next.

 

The drow-shade walked around the room, careful to keep well away from any light. Twilight was dying, and the pale purple flame did not provide any exposing source of radiance. He walked about, his footsteps unheard. The assassin asked quietly. "There is some kind of distress, no?" He asked casually, not wanting to get straight to the point. He was carefully collecting his words for the real matters at hands.

 

Blade was waiting outside

 

"You mean the uprising that killed my parents?" Rosalie asked, "Or is there another one I don't know about?"

Alice walked up to Blade, "Hi. I'm guessing you are here because of Rosalie?" She asked.

 

"huh yea" Blade said

 

"Rumours say there is anarchy amongst the citizens. Power has become tangible. Politics have been overruled with Nethereal Magicks. There is talk of civil war." He paused dramatically, not really caring, but wanting to get closer and closer to his goal. "A cult, I believe. I think this may link to the uprising to the royal family." And to Quarrak... he added in his thoughts, his voice chilling.

 

"I don't think you have anything to worry about, right now, her future seems fine." Alice said as Jasper walked up behind her.

Rosaile thought for a moment about what he had said, "Seems logical, but how did you find out about this?"

 

"how can you tell" Blade said

 

Alice and Jasper chuckled, "I will give you a hint, people believe that garlic scares my kind off." She said.

 

"I never knew Vampires can see into the future" Blade said

Powers: Inpenetrable Globe of Darkness, Faerie Fire, Nethereal Magicks, and magical knowledge.
Weapons: Staff of Omnis, wands/rods, Dual-Swords of Despair.
Side: Chaotic Evil
Anything Else: Quarrak is the most powerful wizard up-to-date and is extremely skilled in the use of blade. Like most dark elves, he wields two swords, thus having a series of tricks up his sleeves (quite literally). He's the complete opposite of Vallyn, his adopted brother. (Save for the fact they're both evil...)

Bic: Vallyn shook his head. "I'm that of the shadows... Every secret and every rumour are the language of shadows. The slums, the prey. All of them. They speak before their die..." He felt a nervous shake above his rump. "I know all." He stated at length, keeping it brief.

 

"Well, not all of them can, I can't." Jasper said.

"But he can do other things." Alice said.

Rosalie nodded, "I see, thank you for informing me of this."

OOC: Your new character, for which for nothing of this earth I can pronounce his name, is in Sessamaru.

 

"like what?" Blade asked

 

"Now, there is a slight problem... There is a drow running about, waving his Nethereal Magicks about, causing havoc..." He whispered, slightly daunted. "His name is Quarrak Desp'Ana,"

Quarrak entered the town square, standing at its heart, his cowl low. He whispered words, spidery, incoherent runes. Green and black flames arose slowly, mithril-webs shot everywhere. The wizard chanted, waving his staff about, its ostriche egg-sized ruby glowing, the darkwood glowing with a purple radiance. The spell became worse and worse.

"Do you know him?" He asked before hearing a magical cackle. He wanted to end this meeting quick.

 

"You do realize if we tell you these things we are entrusting you with secrets that you can tell to no one, right?" Alice asked.

Rosalie shook her head, she could feel a new presence in the town.

 

Vallyn, distasting the answer, zoomed out the single window. Night was upon them. Vallyn shadowstepped, much farther now, to the center of the town. The town itself was being devoured by Nethereal flames. Cursing himself, he turned and shouted, still hidden by the darkness of night. "Evaculate the town! Now!"

Quarrak watched from above, on a cliff beyond the town's epicenter. He smirked to himself. He saw the shade as if it were light out. The shadow tendrils were a dark violet and a deep black in his infravision, his brother's body at a low grey. His smirk grew. He chanted again in the same spidery language, a Nethereal Gate opening. Green and yellow were visible, but the swirls vanished as a large black dragon exited. "Sha'aan, my beloved pet, soar to the heavens and cleanse this town of those pests." He purred, climbing atop the dragons back. The behemoth black circled the city, acidic drool escaping her teeth.

Vallyn quickly looked about. He cursed himself for not having a spell ready. He saw green raindrops fall. They hit rock. The earth melted before his very eyes. "Damn," he scolded himself, seeing the black dragon soar above. "Quickly!" He shouted once more, knocking an arrow. He was invisible to the people, due to his absolute camoflauge of being a Shade. The shadows fell back behind him, swirling around his cocked arm to the arrow. He shot the shadow-arrow.

 

Rosalie was left in the room alone she sighed then unlocked the door and walked outside, noticing Alice, Jasper, and Blade. Then seeing the fire, she Alice, and Jasper decided to run into the woods, hoping maybe there was a way out through there. Jasper grabbed Blade and and began running, Alice held her hand out for Rosalie and she got on her back, Alice and Jasper began running as if they were almost flying.

 

The arrow missed. "Damn it to hell!" He shouted, running off, shadowstepping after the children. Acid spewed down where he once was, the green burning goop swallowing the town and the rest of those who were left behind. The town got its horrifying shower of acid, becoming non-existant. The stench was unbearable and the cracking of rocks and stones filled the air. Vallyn appeared on the other side of the wood. He shook his head and moved on.

Quarrak frowned, even though he truly wanted to laugh aloud. He was disappointed because his dear puppet did not get destroyed in the cataclysm. "There is always next time, I suppose!" He spoke cheerfully, the dragon landing at the center of the town, the acid pool running around it. Off he stepped and he mumbled a simple spell, dispelling the acid. He chuckled as the dragon became a momentous swirl of green and yellow. The swirls disappeared. A laughter erupted from the black robed drow.
