The Price of Living Forever

Mya held onto Dante. She knows the room won't hold on much longer and gripped onto Dante tighter.

 

Dante thought they were done for. And then he thought... "The tube! Hurry, we can get out of here!" He pulled her out of the room, and ran with her toward the slide tube. "We can get out this way! Quick! Get in!"

 

Mya followed Dante fast and jumped into the tube out of the room hoping to safety.

OOC: I'm gonna be gone for about 2 hours.

 

Dante crawled in just as the room collapsed. He heard no noise. "How about now? Is it done this time?"

 

Mya looked around and breathed a sigh of relief. Think they're done with the bombing run. Let's go check outside. She walked over to the manhole and opened it up.

 

OOC: the whole room caved in, remember? eh, i guess the manhole could have lived...

BIC: Dante followed her, waiting axiously for a report. "How bad is it?"

 

OOC: Sowwy ;~;

BIC: Mya climbed out of the manhole and examined the city. It was all in ruins. No building was left standing. Why? Why would they bomb a peaceful city? They never fought in the war at all.

 

Dante climbed out and looked for himself. He put his arm around Mya. "Don't worry. They evacuated, right? so hopefuly nobody got hurt. We're safe for now."

 

Mya shook her head. There has to be a reason. I don't understand why. She continued to examine the wreckage.

 

Dante looked her in the eyes. He had a look of concern, but was quite serious. "I think we should get out of here. Who knows what they're gonna do ne..." He trailed off as he looked where they came from. "Oh, no..."

 

Mya looked up at him. What? What's wrong? She looked back.

 

Dante was silent for a moment. He looked at what could have been anything, but it was his own home. "They hit it... They hit my home!" Dante dropped to his knees. He was cursing the people responsible. "They are SO lucky I have more then one bunker."

 

Mya gasped at the sight and walked over to Dante. I'm sorry Dante. I wish I could do something about this. She gave Dante a hug.

 

Dante held her close. "That was my best one too... Well, looks like I'm going to have to go find Albert again."

 

She cocked her head. Albert? You don't mean...Albert Einstein?

 

Dante nodded. "The very one. Hey! look! My ATV didn't get hit! Just blown away..." He pointed to his ATV a good distance away. It looked in tact, but upside down.

 

Mya ran over to the ATV and examined it. It's perfectly intact! Help me will you? She pushed the ATV.

 

Dante ran up to it and helped Mya flip it. "Alright, his base is just a few miles that way. We should be there in no time." He pointed as he started the ATV.

 

Mya nodded and climbed on the ATV. I hope we have a smooth ride there. She constantly looked around.

 

Einstien nodded, as he walked back out into the Vehicle Garage, where a metal crane was moving the damaged jeep off of the teleporter pad, and placing a strange-looking, large aircraft that looked like a helicopter with jet engines attached. "Come, we must hurry!" Said Albert
