The Shadow Period

Suddenly the strings went loose. Gharanth was gone. In his place was a doll. Gharanth laughed. "Little Zeke enjoying playing with dolls. It matches your dress!"

 

''yea especially wen thy're puppets ''

zeke then fused his shadow powers with the doll to giv it a few ''Upgrades''

heh thnx for the puppet gharanth.........

 

"Cute, but that sort of magic never worked on me when I was alive, and it certainly won't now. I never knew you cared so much as to have a doll of me. I'm genuinely touched."

 

''plz this doll disgust me to my stomach.........''

 

"But you made it, and put a lot of effort into it given the detail. I've had enough of this game. I'm going for that soda....."

 

''me 2'' zeke then went to the fridge

''wat kind do u want?''

 

"Whatever is nearest the front. You know, you're not so bad, just angry. Maybe I misjudged you. I apologise. Guess I can't kick my past."

 

''make no mistake i only asked wat soda u wanted........''

zeke tossed gharanth a soda

 

"Well at least you haven't tried to tear me apart for the remarks I made. maybe this isn't such a bad fate after all."

 

''hmph i wonder how kyla is doing......''

 

"i am linked to her, so I could find out if you really want to know. No, I won't cause trouble, and yes, I'll tell you the truth. Do you want me to find out?"

Gharanth disappeared and then reappeared with a worried look on his face. "Zeke, we have to talk somewhere private. There's a problem. I need to tell you the truth as promised, but I don't want the others to hear. Is it ok if we wander up the beach away from the others."

 

zeke then nods yes and goes outside to the beach

 

"Kyla's fine, too fine if you get my drift. Zarax is making all the right moves and they're happy playing house. Necros is not going to like the fact he is not in the equation. They are working on breaking each others curses. Only they're getting really close, to the point that the equation is Kyla + Zarax + Ark = family."

 

''and how is this bad?''

 

"Um, you do remember Necros, Dogboy infatuated with Kyla. How's he gonna cope?"

 

''hmph let necros be necros if he gets jealous just beacuase he lost his girl then so be it''

 

"You really don't care about Necros. I'm in awe of you, and I thought I could be heartless. Even I feel sorry for the dumb animal."
