The Ultimate Organization- Division 2 (Continued!)

The fox saw that it couldn't back up anymore so it bit Geryl instead.

 

Geryl winced and then used his other hand to grab onto the fox and drag it toward him. Alright, you guys just get the gem and I'll let this fox go. He said as he tied a bandage onto his finger.

 

Kairi stood up, "Geryl, don't hurt it." she said, looking at the fox. I don't know, but this isn't just a normal fox, I don't think. There's something different about it... or maybe that's just it's fear.

 

I won't just get the stone. He said.

 

Kairi nodded and carefully picked up the gem. She looked at it closely.

 

The fox clawed at Geryl so he'd let go.

Aang just stared at the gem. "I've seen that before..." he muttered to himself, a strange feeling building inside of him.

 

Geryl let the fox go and he saw it leave un hurt.

 

Kairi glanced at Aang, "You have? Then do you know what it does?"

 

The fox ran off into the woods.

Aang thought for a second and then his eyes widened as he realized what it was. "Yeah..." he said. "That's a Waterbending Demon Stone..." he said. That explains what happened to Katara... he thought. What's strange is that I'm not being affacted by it...

 

Geryl went over to Kairi and looked at the stone. Can I inspect it? He asked.

 

"Sure." Kairi said, handing it to him."Okay, what does it do?" she asked Aang, thinking the name didn't sound very good.

 

Aang looked back at the headquarters worridley. "A demon comes from it that only waterbenders can see..." he started. "That monster will come out of the gem when a waterbender is nearby and try to hurt them mentally... through their mind..." He turned back to Kairi. "That must've been what happened to Katara... this demon can litterally scare you half to death..." he said. "And there's only one place that these can be found... and that's in the fire nation..."

 

"So someone like that guy, Zuko, is here?" Kairi asked, "Why do they want Katara so badly?"

 

Geryl looked at the gem in the sunlight.

 

"I don't think they're only after Katara..." he said and then looked down. "They might want to start a war here, too... or they might be trying to use her to get to me... again..." He looked up at Kairi. "And how do you know about Zuko...?" he asked.

 

"He came here awhile ago, trying to take Katara. We fought him and Silax, a guy in the Organization, killed him." Kairi explained, "He wanted her to get you, as you've said. That is probably the reason this time too. But that only means we have to find them, quickly."

"Wait a second..." Aang said and thought for a second. Then his eyes suddenly widened in terror. "Katara!" he shouted and started running back towards the headquarters.

 

Geryl then ran after Aang while holding onto the stone in his glove.

Aang ran in through the front door and ran straight into the lobby. Quickly, he ran over to Katara on the couch and put his hand on her forehead. Dang it... We shouldn't have left her in here... he thought.

 

Geryl looked at Aang. Is something wrong? He asked.
