The Ultimate Organization- Division 2 (Continued!)

Kairi nodded. "Alright, let's see what we cand do." she walked through the portal as Namine had told her. She looked around for a moment, "Zengaku?" she called.

 

"Yes" Said a Zengaku approaching Kairi "A you chained to this realm as well?"

 

Dexeon loosened his hold on Garxena, sensing her anger. "I thought we'd talked about this already."

 

"Well," Garxena hesitated, not moving away from Dexeon. "Yes. But... things have changed.... Silax is more distant from me now that you're here. He's seems angry almost all the time. And..." She closed her eyes against tears. "Kai is gone.... All she said was that it was important... more important than me...."

 

Dexeon turned Garxena around so he could lock eyes with her. "Nothing is more important to me than you." He said smoothly. "You're my little sister, and I understand that more than Kai does obviously."

 

Garxena didn't want to believe the words. She knew Dexeon was trying to comfort her, but it hurt to hear him talk about Kai so lightly. "Please, Dexeon... don't."

 

"You can't be this upset over the truth." Dexeon scoffed. "Kai used you." He put his hands on Garxena's face to keep her eyes on his own. "She only came here to get information. Once she found it, she had no more use for any of you. You can't really blame her; after all, this place has too many problems for a Somebody to get involved in."

 

Garxena shook her head; a small movement since Dexeon's hands restrained her. "I don't want to believe that. You know I can't...." She felt her knees buckle and give out.

 

Dexeon caught Garxena by her arms. "I didn't tell you before because I thought it would be too much for you to take in so soon." He pulled Garxena into a tight embrace and smoothed her hair. "The truth hurts."

 

Garxena let Dexeon hold her up knowing she didn't have the will to stand on her own. Her mind was racing. Why did the sibling she loved have to turn out to be someone who just wore a mask of false love the whole time? Why did the sibling she had learned to hate turn out to be the one she was supposed to love and trust? But how did she know that Dexeon was telling the truth? All she knew was that she couldn't think too clearly through this new pain. At this point, she'd believe anything that she was told.

 

"It'll be okay," Dexeon soothed. "I'll fix things for you. You won't even remember it happened." He smirked, knowing Garxena couldn't see it.

 

Garxena gave the idea a moment of thought. Would forgetting take the pain away? But she tried it, how much would she forget? She looked up at Dexeon through her tears. As much as the truth hurt her, she couldn't bear to forget.

 

Dexeon smiled. "Let me know if you want to fix things that way." He twisted a finger through Garxena's hair. "I don't want to see you this way."

 

A portal appeared in front of Garxena and Dexeon and Xeal stepped out. "Garxena, person i've never met, i dont think you may have realized but Kairi was kidnapped when she was sopposed to be in you're care... I dont know what danger you'll be in if this gets out...Well?"

 

Garxena moaned and let her head fall back against Dexeon's chest. She closed her eyes, wanting to be with Silax rather than Dexeon.

 

Dexeon glared at Xeal. "I don't care about the Princess." He said plainly. "I'm here for my sister."

 

Garxena bit her lip to hold back a sob. She didn't pay attention to anything that was going on around her; everything sounded as if she was under water.

 

Xeal watched the two with certain disgust. He shruged "Thats just like you Garxena, replacing people ,when the time is right... I was a fool to think you imbeciles could protect Kairi. She would been dead by know if Namine hadn't rescued her..." Xeal started to the door. "By the way.... Namine's Icha-Icha Cest Manga are skyrocketing these days. you should try out." He said with a laugh.

 

Garxena caught Xeal's words. "Shut up!" She yelled at him, twisting out of Dexeon's hold. "You don't know anything! How could you understand what I've been through?! You left me!" Her tears turned from hopeless to angry. "You don't understand me at all. Don't you dare try to judge me."

 

Dexeon put his hands firmly on Garxena's shoulder. "Don't lose your temper, little sister." He crooned, smirking at Xeal. "It's not his fault he's an idiot."
