The Ultimate Organization- Division 2 (Continued!)

Garxena finally looked around and recognized the voices she was hearing. She pressed back in to the chair as far as she could. "Dexeon...."

 

Dexeon grinned at Xeal and then went over to Garxena, kneeling next to the chair. "Yes?"

Hideo took a step back to allow Dexeon room.

 

"What are we doing here?" Garxena asked, her voice shaking from fear. The last, and only, time she'd met with Hideo was a pain filled experience and she was not pleased to be near him again.

 

"Garxena?" Xeal asked, then he looked to Hideo "What did you say happened to Zepharus's Soul?"

 

"I believe it resides within Kade now." Hideo answered.

"Shh," Dexeon falsely comforted. "I promise you, it's nothing that will hurt you." He added in his mind, Too badly.

 

'Dexeon, I want to go." Garxena whimpered. "Now."

 

"Thats not as bad as it being taking by someone else..." Xeal said "A dragon's Soul had an extreme concentration of Mist...enough to cause intense mutations to beasts like coeurls, brids, and Heartless." then he smiled smugly at Dexeon.

 

"You can go soon." Dexeon assured Garxena. He looked over his shoulder at Xeal. "You better watch it."

Hideo pushed Dexeon out of the way and pulled Garxena out of the chair. "You only have to be afraid if you don't do what you told." He said in a low but strangely kind voice.

 

Garxena turned her head away from Hideo and closed her eyes.

 

"Its for your protection Dexeon... Mist makes heartless turn feral and rabid..." Xeal said "You can read the Xeal Reports and find out just what happens...I think you should give the scale to Hideo before something happens."

 

Hideo held one hand out towards Dexeon, keeping the other on Garxena's arm.

Dexeon grudgingly handed the scale to Hideo.

Hideo placed the scale on the desk without looking at it. He addressed Garxena, "Have you made your choice?"

 

Garxena meekly shook her head.

 

"Just to be on the safe side, do any of you know what Mist is?" Xeal said

Dexeon pushed Xeal out the door. "Explain if you must." He snapped, shutting the doors.

Hideo tossed Garxena back into the chair. "I supposed you want to know what's going on." He leaned close to Garxena.

 

"Yes." Garxena meant for the word to be strong, defiant, but it came out in barely a whisper.

 

"Mist is actually a form of sprit energy, used for a variety of reasons... when the Mist burns, it causes certain people to become wild, when the mist is thick, magic is more potent...if the Mist is dense...like in a dragon Soul...It strips away all you hold dear...taking your Anima...leaving you devoid of emotion... now stand aside..." He said going through the doors again "I wont leave her side..."

 

Dexeon pulled Xeal back by his shirt and firmly shut the doors. "Give them five minutes."

"Trust me, Garxena," Hideo stroked her cheek. "It's best if you don't know."

 

Garxena shuddered. "Tell me anyway."

 

"Yeah... why not..." Xeal said "Your a smart lad, why be Hideo's puppet?"

 

"I'm not his puppet." Dexeon growled.

Hideo smiled. "Ignorance is bliss."
