Silax?! Is everything alright?! What's going on?! she thought urgently. She had felt something strange after he said it may have been light causing this.

 

Kai sighed. "You're right. But I still want to know what's going on."

"You overused you Light." Garxena explained.

"I don't have any. I have no element." Kai denied.

"You do... I won't forget it..." Garxena looked at Kai pleadingly.

"I just want to get out of here. I have to get back to Takeshi and those Heartless." Kai didn't look at Garxena. She noticed her cloak was gone. That adds to the weirdness.

 

"We are trying to get her to remember things...if you would like to help you can...." Silax said opening a portal near Katara, "you have a element then that you don't know about....." he said to Kai, "and Takeshi is dead....killed by your sister here....." he smiled gently putting his arm around Garxena.

 

Katara stepped through the portal. She saw Silax and Garxena. Across from them she saw Kai. Oh... what do I say...? She probably doesn't remember me... and I don't want to scare her... she seems freaked out enough...

 

"Alright, I'll go along with this." Kai put a hand to her head. "So Takeshi is dead, killed by my sister, who is supposed to be dead.... I think I got it..."

Garxena smiled. "Well... I'm not really your sister. I'm her Nobody... but I took her name."

"Okay..." Kai sighed. "This isn't making sense."

 

Zentaro sensed something was wrong. He appeared near Silax and Garxena in a swirl of ink. "Anything I can help with?"

 

Someone else? Kai looked at Zentaro. I've... seen him before... those eyes...who is he?

Garxena looked at Zentaro. "I don't know, Zen. Kai's..."

 

"I can see." Zentaro looked at Kai. "Tell me my name."

 

"Kai's having trouble remembering things....." Silax said giving Garxena a gentle squeeze, "it seems she got overpowered by a vast amount of light that apparently was in her....." he sighed, "I had to give her a little bit of darkness so it would calm the light and balance her out...."

 

"I... I don't know it..." Kai looked at the three of them. I don't have Light... I know I have some kind of power... but it can't be Light...

Garxena bit her lip. I wonder if Namine could help...

"Yes you do." Zentaro insited. "Tell me."

 

Katara looked at Silax. "Wait a second... you gave her darkness...?" she looked at Kai.

BIC: Silax turned to Katara, "it was only a small bit...to balance her light....without it....she could have died....." he sighed, "thats what annoys me....people thinking having all this light is good...when it can actually be as deadly as darkness...."

 

Katara looked at Silax. "What about having neither...? Can that be deadly as well?" she asked, now curious.

 

"Yes....but its impossible.....each being has atleast either a little darkness...or a little light....." Silax smiled, "in your case you have a little bit of light I would guess....."

 

Katara nodded. "So... every being either has light or darkness...? but why can't they have neither...? ugh... this is so confusing!" she said and laughed a bit.

 

Geryl walked around teh castle as Ex was in the lobby thinking.

 

"Its ok....I understand its not easy....." Silax smiled hugging her, "but maybe you will find it out for yourself....you might actually find you have some unknown power in that light...."

 

"It's hard to understand right now... but from what I've heard... unknown powers aren't a good thing..." she said.

 

"It depends...." Silax said, "whether or not you use it.....or use more and more light or darkness to increase that power....but too much can start to control the person....eventually consuming them....."
