Zepharus laughed, "You're such a dork Xeal. I must admit though, its nice to have another Dragon to talk to, Kade's nice to talk to dont get me wrong but.... somethings she just cant relate to."

"were different from the Humes, but at least were drakes, think of the wryms' isolation." Xeal kept blowing bubbles

 

"That's another thing I dont really remember.... all our lore and folktales none of it. To tell you the truth if I couldnt change into a Dragon I dont think I would believe I was one," Zepharus laughed a little, trying to make light of the situation. "I wish I could remember..... parts of it anyway.... other parts I would keep burried forever if I could."

 

Xeal sat down "I think i have someone that might be able to help you."

 

"I doubt anyone can help me," Zepharus sighed, leaned back onto the grass and stretched his legs out infront of him. "I've been dealt my hand, and this is what fate has given me."

 

"Dont count your dragons before they hatch," Xeal said as he took out a white flute. He played the flute and a portal appeared, then , Namine was expelled from the portal and she landed on her behind. "I told you not to use that? Namine said angrily at Xeal
"I did it anyways, well, can your memory powers work on dragons?" He asked her as he pointed at Zepharus.

 

Zepharus looked from Xeal to Namine, a little confused by what was going on. "You think she can undo the spell? It's ancient magic that our kind created, I dont think anyone else knows about it."

 

Xeal mouthed the words "She is a witch man!" over to Zepharus and then looked at Namine. "So you want me to fix your memories? Give me your hand. Namine said as she grabbed Zepharus' Hand and closed her eyes, and in a few minutes Zepharus began to glow and another few minutes later she let go of his hand and he stopped glowing. "Done. " She said as she walked off into a portal.
Xeal looked at Zepharus not knowing what to say.

 

Frostex closed his portal, stopped using his energy, and doubled over "The deed is done." he said laying on the ground panting. "Let's just hope no one comes and destroys it... that was a lot of work."

 

Zepharus blinked his eyes, memories flashed infront of him.

A very young Zepharus was flying, vrey clumsily, in the sky. His tiny wings flapping furiously to try and keep him from falling. He looked behind him to another Dragon, though this one was fully grown and much older, push a very young Xeal off the cliff.

A teenage Zepharus was flying through the skies with other Dragons around him. They flew in a V shape pattern, trying to find anything they could to bring back to eat. The head Dragon roared and the others soared through the sky, descending towards their prey.

Zepharus stood over his fathers dead body, Zepharus was now in his late teens to early twenties. Taking a deep breath he blew fire from his mouth, lighting the body on fire. A large group of Dragons raised their heads and roared into the sky, mourning the loss of Zepharus's father.

 

"Zepharus?" Xeal said "Are you ok?"

 

Zepharus brought a hand to his face, "Yeah, yeah I think so......it's just weird, all these memories.... it's like, I dont know. My head hurts though," Zepharus laughed.

 

Frostex waited for a few seconds then laughed. "Alright." he said standing up. "This'll help sometime soon, not like anyone else knows where it is." Frostex decided to take a walk around.

 

"Zepharus...answer this.." Xeal asked him "Do you remember the day we went to the mountains?"

 

"Yeah I think so," Zepharus mumbled rubbing his forehead. "We went to the mountains, I dont remember why or for what, but we were climbing it and we didnt make it to the top."

 

"You starting to remember...." Xeal said with a faint smile "That's good."

 

"Yeah, everything a blur right now but somethings are clearing up faster than others. Give me a few hours and everything should be all clear," Zepharus explained with a smile, just glad to remember to past again.

Frostex ended up at the lake and saw Xeal and Zepharus. "Wonder what those two are up to." he thought.

 

OOC: you haven't seen anything yet!

"Zepharus...im so glad that you finally remembered..." Xeal said "Maybe now...."

 

Zepharus looked at Xeal, "Ahh!" Zepharus pushed his face into his hands clutching the sides of his face, another fmemory flashed before his eyes.

Zepharus, in Human form, sat on a rock high in the mountains, the night before he lead the Dragons into the battle that would change their and his life. Xeal flew up behind him and sat next to Zepharus. Zepharus took Xeals hand in his own. "I wont be gone long. I promise, I'll come back."

Zepharus liefted his head and looked at Xeal, "I remember you....us...."
