"All right then," Kade nodded as she followed Xeal out of the cave, and into the open. Xeal made a portal and Kade stepped through it.

 

Xeal followed through the portal, which took them to a grand palace that was built under a huge bluff. "This Cloister of Trials will have you answering questions and solving riddles and puzzles"

 

Kairi looked at the others and then back at Zaphod. "Um, exactly how much are you planning on punishing him?" she asked, a little nervously.

 

"So, is every single place we go to going go have some sort of challenge to do?" Kade asked curiously as she continued to walk towards the castle.She banged on the door loudly with her fist.

 

"We must Exorcise the darkness from him...including the one thats controling him and making him this way...Her..." Zanmato summoned up a gilded Bow and made a light arrow, the chain holding Zaphod broke and he lunged at Zanmato when he just fired the arrow. Chain 1..."


"Why yes. These trails wil determine if you are worthy to be with zepharus. Wherether you win or you lose, it all depens on how much you care about him." Xeal said, stepping toward the door.

 

Kairi instinctivly tightened her grip on her keyblade as Zaphod lunged at Zanmato. "How much does that entail?" she asked, wincing as the arrow struck Zaphod.

 

"You Dragons have to make things so complicated," Kade sighed. She banged on the door again. "Hey Dragons! Let me in, Zepharus is a friend of mine! I'm his Tamer so let me in!"

 

"When 4 chains are made," He said loading another arrow and charging it with light. "The 5th arrow will destroy the dark." He ran 45 deggres and shot the arrow, another chain was made. Chain 2..."


"kade you idiot!!!" Xeal said, pushing her away from the door, a blast of energy went throuhg Xeal, wounding him greatly as he fell to the floor.

 

Kairi watched him warely, not trusting yet that everything would go well.

 

He ran another 45 degrees and shot another arrow. "Chain 3..." The darkness on Zaphod's scale sarted to slowly turn lighter.

 

Kairi relaxed a little, seeing that things were actully working, but she kept her girp tight on her blade still.

 

"Xeal!" kade yelled as he flew backwards. "I'm sorry I didnt know that was going to happen. Here sit still and I can heal you, just let me get some organic materials to help the healing" Kade summoned some water, tree bark, lava rock and other materials. She put them around the wound and drew an alchemic circle around the wound and the material. She placed her hand on the circle and a blue light emitted from it, the material began to vanish and the wound began to heal. "The alchemic makeup of these materials are similar to minerals and such that make up your body. That's how I was able to heal your wound."

 

"Kade...i know alitle about alchemy myself...i thought transmutation on living things was forbidden?" xeal said as the door slowly opened. "The trail starts at the door... those foolish enough to try and enter uninvited will be badly wounded...you need to enter calmly and curtiously"



Zanmato ran another 45 degrees and Shot the final arrow, when the chain appeared, Zaphod was trapped in a orb of light, the darkness was fading fast, then he shot Another Arrow at the upwards, the arrow fell like a comet onto the orb, and When it shattered, Zaphod was thrown one way, and a dark dragon another. "I knew it was you who would do this!" Zanamto said to the dark dragon as it stood up. "Brother its been too long..."

"brother!?" Zengaku exclaimed "But that means..."

"Yes Zengaku, Ishida, the dragon before you, the one who tried to kill Garxena...that dragon is my sister...my only sister... DeathGaze...your mother... Jenova..." The dragon morphed into a human, who was a light blonde woman wearing a cloak and with wings. "Mother!?" Zengaku and Ishida said in unison.

 

"Wait, who tried to kill Garxena?" Kairi tried to make sense of what was going on. "What just happened here?"

 

"Yeah well, I'm healing you aren't I?" Kade smirked playfully. "I've never been one for rules anyway." Kade stood up and walked toward the door. "Look Dragons, I seriously doubt I'm much of a threat to you. So why don't you just let me in, take your trial and then I'll leave and I wont bother you again. I don't even know why I'm doing this, Xeal said we have to come to talk to highest Dragons and take their tests so that's what I'm doing. I'm doing it for my Dragon!"

 

A Blood-Red dragon emerged from the palaced and approached Kade "You are a brave woman calling him "your" Dragon like that...you will answer our questions, but Xeal must stay. Understand Xeal?"
"Yes master Zetsumei...." He said with a bow of his head.




"Xeal's mother tried to kill Garxena because of her somebody. Now she wanted to control Zaphod as she tried to control Xeal!" Zanmato said
"Kairi get out of here!" Zengaku said
"We cant let her kill you!" Ishida said
"My own sons? with hateful thoughts against me? whhat have you been doing to them brother?" Jenova said, Morphing into a dragon "Zengaku...Ishida... come with the darkness...with you mother... i'll give you anything you want..."

 

Kade eyed the Dragon, "He was mine, he was my responsibility. I should have taken better c are of him, if it wasn't for me....he would still be here." She followed the red Dragon into the palace.

 

Kairi didn't move. Ah man. this just get's worse by the second! "Zengaku, Ishida. Don't listen to her." she called at them, not really sure if it would do anything.

 

"Girl...When you met Zepharus, what did you do?" Zetsumei asked Kade



"Why princess, without darkness, you would not be alive right now..." Jenova said as Zanmato shot an arrow at her, when the arrow got close, it was swallowed in darkness and a dark arrow hit Zanmato and pinned him to the wall, thus knocking him out. "Darkness is superior, it bonds with all other elements, making them more powerfull, giving them strenght... Dont you want that?" She said to the three of them.

 

"He was encased in crystal. I walked past it and I was drawn to it, so I went back to it and when I touched it it began to flow and Zeph flew out of it.... that's all I remember," Kade stated to Zetsumei.
