The Ultimate Organization II

"Hades? I believe you're thinking of the wrong Pantheon, my friend, " A strange man suited in armor said. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Loki! Trickster god of Asgard!"

"Asgard?" Xane asked.

"Yes! Where did you think you were?" Loki asked. "Olympus?"

"Pretty much," Xane answered, scratching his head.

"Well you are...In a way..." Loki paused. "Perhaps it's best if you all follow me."

Nulix glanced at Xane before following Loki...

 

Xane replied with a shrug as he followed Loki. As they did they passed several Greek looking structures, as well as Norse ones.

"I know what you're thinking," Loki started. "What's with the Olypian statues? Well, let's just say the gods of Olympus kind of...abandoned their post."

"Why?" Xane asked.

"Dunno. Maybe they got bored?" Loki yawned.

 

"So... whats going on with this place now?" Nulix said, looking around, "It looks very... clean cut, very 'in order'."

 

"We like to keep it that way," Loki said. "That way, when the warriors enter it, they can smash the place up however they want."

"Ah," Xane said. "How interesting. But I was kinda hoping that you could tell us anything you know about the Brotherhood."

"...Brotherhood? Never heard of them." Loki said. "And by any chance are you...The Ultimate Organization?"

"..Actually we're real estate agents." Xane said, giving Nulix a look that said, "This is all I could think of."

 

Nulix raised an eyebrow at Xane, and then turned to Loki, "Right, My names Erol Ryan Underwood, its a pleasure to meet you Mr. Loki..."

 

"And I'm...Zachary Franklin Lewiston," Xane said.

"And you're...Real estate agents?" Loki questioned.

"Yeah. Gotta feed the family, ya know?" Xane joked.

"Right," Loki said. "I grow bored of this game. I know who you really are Xane and Nulix. And I know who's exactly on your ship, too. Darxess, Wing, Xegreny, Oxyrt, Bellatrix, and Xardius. You cannot fool me. I was merely toying with you earlier. But as I said, I grew bored of that....Well, onward." Loki said leading them to a huge doorway.

"..."Xane thought a bit and said, " I don't completely trust this Loki guy. He could be the Hades of this world."

 

"I don't trust him either, but not much we can do now, right?" Nulix replied, pulling his gunblade out slowly. "So uh... Loki, what is it you do exactly?"

 

"I'm a trickster god," Loki explained. "I trick people. For example, I've tricked you so far into thinking you've actually been going somewhere. But look!" Loki shouted as he pointed towards the hatch of the ship. "You've been going around in circles!" Loki laughed.

"That's it!" Xane said, cracking his knuckles. "I've had enough outta you."

 

"Forget it Xane," Nulix said, turning away from Loki, "This guy just wants to pull some stupid pranks, I'm going to find someone who might actually help us."

 

Loki then appeared in front of Nulix. "Oh, I can't let you do that." he said with a slightly less happy tone, his eyes glowing with orange light. "You see, I don't know how much you're worth to the Brotherhood but, I think I'll hold you all down for ransom. You can't beat me. I can do anything I want! I could make it rain gold if I felt like it, but that's too easy."

"We...could always try," Xane said.

 

"Who's the annoying guy? We gonna beat him up?" Xegreny said yawning as he exited the ship. "Is he gonna play the God card? Eh. How lame."

 

"Well, what'd ya expect?" Loki shrugged.


"Xegreny, this is the twentieth time you said lame...What're you? Twelve?" Xane joked.

"Enough of this! If you want to fight, do so. I only warn you, that you will lose," Loki yawned.

 

"What's wrong with the word lame?" Xegreny said, ignoring Loki completely. "Since when is lame like, uncool? Do words become uncool?"

 

"I've always liked lame, it's got a good feel to it, its got a nice ring," Nulix added.

 

"Yeah. See? Lame is a perfectly fine word." Xegreny said, continuing to ignore Loki.

 

"Yeah man, Lame's a good word. I like the lame a lot," Nulix said

 

"STOP!" Loki erupted. "Are you truly the Ultimate Organization? Are you? I find it hard to believe that you'd just sit here and banter on about the word 'lame'! I think I'll just kill you and bring you to the Brotherhood! That way, I won't have to hear your excessive talki-"

Loki immeditely shut up as a towering figure appeared before him. "Th-Thor...My dear brother..." Loki whimpered. "What a pleasant surprise."

"Begone with you trickster!" Thor boomed. "Or shall you suffer yet another defeat from my hammer, Mjolnir?"

"I..think I'll leave them be," Loki smiled, before teleporting away.

"That takes care of him," Thor sighed. "I was originally supposed to meet you here, but I was drawn off my path by Loki. He may seem a buffoon, but he is deadly at times. I was told to take you to my father's dining room. You will have rooms of your own and refreshments there. Follow me on your strange machine," Thor said, nodding at the ship.

 

"Um, okay. So anyway, what do you have against the word lame Xane? Some horrible childhood experience?" Xegreny said continuing on the lame subject as he entered the ship.

 

"No of course not," Xane said, thinking back to his knight's training. "Damn it, Alyt! My joke's aren't that lame," Xane muttered.

Xane piloted the ship and followed Thor to shining hall filled with many strange people. "Welcome to the halls of Asgard!" Thor boomed. "Here you will eat, drink, and possibly fight to your hearts content!"

"I'm likin' this place already!" Xane said. "And check out the Valkyries!" Xane said, pointing towards a group of women in golden armor.
