"Skinnar's right," Pharell agreed. "A reef would logically be-"

A big booming noise was heard as a water rushed through the hull of the sub.

"Quick, grab some scuba gear! Hurry! The sub's flooding!" one of the crew members shouted.

 

OOC: Gotta go, see ya

 

OOC: See ya.

 

OOC: Floofing? *snicker*

BIC: Hey, aren't you that girl who tried to kill Enigma earlier?" Xegreny said quizzically as Janet/Falcon entered the ship with Tera Roth. "Oh well. Enemies of the Brotherhood are our friends I suppose."

"Speaking of Enigma.. isn't he supposed to be here pretending to be our friend?" Xegreny said wondering out loud.

 

OOC: Typo. I meant flooding, though I'm slightly tempted to keep it as floofing now...

 

OOC:Heavens above! The sub is floofing! What ever will we do?!

However, on to more serious topics, what in the heck has happened to Darxess all this time? Where is he? Why has he been unresponsive all this time? Is he ok? I intend to think of an answer to these questions soon enough.

 

"Someone find the source of the leak!" Skinnar yelled, running into the water...

 

"It's coming from the-" one of the crew members blurted out, before the sound of water rushing through the sub was heard again. This time it came from the top of the sub.

"That's it! We have to get out!" Pharell shouted, grabbing scuba gear and suiting up. He then handed out the rest of the gear to the others and started to make his way out of the sinking sub-marine.

EDIT: OOC: Jaxed, just have Darxess resting in the ship. Xane would've picked him up, while escaping Asgard.

 

"Lexx!" Skinnar yelled, tossing Lexx a small compact scuba mask. "The air will generate," Skinnar explained, as Lexx looked over the device. "Why don't they have these things?" Lexx asked, pointing towards Pharell's group. "Ten grand each," Skinnar replied, "Now put it on."

 

OOC: Huh? Have what scuba masks?


BIC: "Where are we?" Pharell breathed through his mask, turning on his flashlight.


"Looks like we're in front of the cave that your friend died in," one of the crew members said cautiously.


"He's not dead," Abigail sneered. "He's just-"


"For all we know, he's dead," Pharell interrupted. "C'mon. Only way to Midgar is through this cave I supposed."


"You all go," one of the crew member said. "I'll try to travel up to the surface to see if I can get some help."

 

"God damn it..." Lexx muttered, ripping his suit off, "I hate to swim..."

Skinnar shook his head, "Pharell, something attacked our ship... Probably a sea animal, no doubt it will come after us again..."

 

*Darxess slowly awakened from a self-induced coma, confused, with no idea where he was, only hearing screams of terror from all the men around him*
*Darxess tried to rise up from his bed, but found that he could not*
*His entire body was stiff, completely sapped of any energy whatsoever*
*The previous spell he attempted to pull off proved to be too much of a strain for his body, rendering him unconcious and completely helpless*
*Even after a full week, he was still barely conscious and in no state to move*
*He was still helpless, even after all of this time*
*Even worse, in all the commotion following the tournament with ragnarok, Darxess's only window to ever finding Orb was slammed shut. The tournament was over, and Orb was nowhere to be found*
*Darxess did know this much, however*
*Orb was not destroyed*
*Not yet*
*Darxess slowly turned his head, watching all of the crew run about in panic, trying to keep themselves from getting killed*
*Darxess attempted to ask one of the members for help, but found no sounds coming from his mouth*
*Darxess then stared at the ceiling, with a small bit of fear in his eyes*
*He had no idea how he got on this ship, or who commands it, but he had a pretty good idea on how he would be getting off*
*In a body bag*

 

"So you're suggesting that we head to surface, as well?" Pharell asked. "If so, do as you wish, but I'm-"

Something suddenly pushed them all inside the cave. Probably undersea currents. To make matters worse, the mouth of the cave suddenly started to cave in...

"Looks like luck's not on our side today," Abigail sighed.

"I don't believe in luck," Pharell said sternly, before attempting to do something about the rocks that were trapping them inside. "If we can't escape through the entrance, or make it to Midgar, I suggest we travel through the cave until we find another way out. There's bound be more cave mouths."

 

"Alright..." Skinnar sighed, "Lead the way Mr. Pharell."

 

OOC: Ha! No luck for Skinnar!

BIC: Pharell led them down the spiraling caverns of the cave. The most intriguing part of it was what appeared to be hieroglyphics on the wall. Surely these 'hieroglyphics' were part of his imagination. They were pretty deep in the ocean. It was proven that traveling this deep could have detrimental affects on the mind. But now was no time to...

"Everyone, come quick! I've found Rick!" Abigail shouted. Pharell rushed to investigate and stared in amazement. Rick had rested himself upon a few stalagmites, holding on to a massive wound in his shoulder.

"Rick, what the hell happened? " Pharell asked.


"Dunno..." Rick started. "Was attacked by...something. Hit me with my own harpoon gun. I managed to..Argh! I managed to escape him...somehow. He's
tracking me though..."

"Who's tracking you?" Pharell demanded.

"Rava-" Rick started, before a zooming noise was heard. Pharell quickly swam out of the way as another harpoon was shot at Rick's stomach. Rick fell over, dead and Pharell turned around quickly. The assailant was gone...

 

"What happened?" Lexx asked, swimming over to Pharell...

 

"We found Rick..." Pharell started slowly, taking everything in. "He was shot with his own harpoon gun. He said that...Ravakov did it. Before he could give us any more answers, someone took another shot at him with the harpoon gun and swam away...What do you think of this?"

 

"I think it was Rakakov..." Lexx replied, "Brotherhood's... sort of like... evil UO in the dozen. The U.P.A... will blow them away, but when a Brotherhood member got you against the wall, in a sea cave, they will destroy us... we really need to get out of here..."

Skinnar sighed, "I agree... let's move, quickly."

 

"Right..." Pharell nodded. For the first time in his life he was nervous. Ravakov was real? There was no indication of his existence, and yet..."Let's move."

They swam rapidly through the caves, looking for an exit. Every so often, they'd pass through some of the cave's more hollow walls. Each time they did, they heard something swimming on the other side, going the same pace as them. Occasionally they'd see a small crack in the wall along with a shadowy figure moving with them. On one instant, a crew member decided to turn his head and look int one of the cracks, only to see the figure's head stop for a second and turn to look at him. That just about did it for that guy.

"T-That's it! I'm not following you! I'm not going to get killed by Ravakove because of you!" the crew member shouted.


"Stop! We're probably almost towards an exit, now!" Pharell screamed. "You'll have less chance of survival if you head back!"

The crew member failed to heed Pharell's warnings and swam away. The cave caused the sound of him swimming to echo, until a loud crack was heard. The crack echoed across the room, until there was silence......Slowly the shadowy figure, moved back to the crack in the wall and stared at them, as if waiting for them.

"...Let's get the hell out of here..." Pharell sighed as he lead the way, yet again. On the other side of the wall, the shadowy figure followed.

 

Lexx pulled his pistol out and started heavily breathing.

"Come on Lexxy boy, get a hang of yourself..." Skinnar muttered, pushing Lexx's pistol down. "Your gonna live, Lexx... or at least you'll be the last to die if we get hit..."

"Thanks for the reassurance..." Lexx muttered, before swimming after the group. Skinnar glanced behind him as he swam... seeing if anything was there...
