The Ultimate Organization II

Falcus nodded.

"Sorry to hear that so many have gone. Last I heard though, Wing was with you all. When did he leave?"


It was the simplest way of finding out how long he had been gone.

 

"I've also... not really been here full time lately," Nulix admitted, "But... I gotta Wing's been gone... say a little under two months... maybe a bit more..."

 

"Bellas around somewhere..." Xane said. "Wing has personal matters to deal with. Who knows where Geryl. Same with Noxas...And I don't remember the last one you mentioned, but I'm pretty sure I'll never want to. Anyway, we'd better see what's happening with the Virus, right?"

Abigail looked at Lexx. "What do we do now? Wait for some reinforcements?" she asked.

 

"We just got the Virus!" Lexx yelled, "And nah, not reinforcements... just a drop ship probably..."

"Why worry about the Virus?" Nulix asked, "The Fourth god won't sell it until the last moment. Until he can guarantee he has a survival plan. He's... currently untouchable, if it wasn't for the Virus he'd be dead. We got tons of time until anything happens with the Virus!"

 

Wing's jaw dropped, two months...at least...he couldn't believe it.


"That's quite a long time...Seems my source of information is a bit slow."


Falcus walked over to the ship and placed a hand on the hull, tracing a painted Decal that read "The Ultimate Organization."

"Nulix, What if I told you Wing couldn't come back... at least not the way he left. What if he came back as a monster? twisted by the very power he Guards? Would you still accept him as one of your own?"

Wing could feel his stomach turn, just thinking of the answer... Wing hadn't changed physically, but in power he had. His magic was twisted, and now rivaled that of Xardius' and it scared him. His twilight form had become nearly unstoppable and made him lose his mind...The Twilight was in control. He had become the True Guardian of Twilight...both regular and Chaotic.

He looked in Nulix's direction, hand still placed on the ships hull.

 

Nulix scratched his head, "Um... its... huh... I never, really thought about anything like that... if a friend is... physically differant... would I accept him"

Nulix smiled, "Man... Mr. Knight, you just blew my mind. But really, I would say yeah, I mean... Wing's my buddy. If he wasn't crazy or nothin' then yeah, sure."

 

Wing smiled under his hood.

"Glad to hear that Nulix. Now on to more pressing matters. What of this Virus and fourth god? and your Brother? Has he gotten word of the Virus's return...and with the Virus come Ziet correct?"

 

"So...What do we do then? Wait for another Brotherhood member to try and kill us?" Xane asked. "Y'know, I'm actually tired of waiting. We've defeated Zaxor, Trent, Kardas, and Ravakov. Enigma, Novice, and Falcon are on our side. We've got Azull, Tul Raijin, probably some other top Brotherhood members, and Scourge, of course. Maybe we should start thinking up ways to defeat them...But let's worry about this Virus first."

 

"Alright..." Nulix said, "I went off and got this info myself. Alright, so there were these four gods. They all died but one, who somehow learned to control the Virus. Anyone who gets the Virus basically wins every battle ever. The reason people like the Brotherhood or the U.P.A. don't just come in and kill the fourth god is because... the Virus will just go crazy and kill em' all. With the Fourth god lays the secret of controlling the Virus. So now the Fourth god is trying to raise the price of the Virus, and hey, all party's are raising their offers as well, cause if anyone loses the Virus... they're dead."

"It's really crazy," Nulix said, before turning to Xane, "What should we do then?"

 

"Uh...Do we have anything to offer the fourth god?" Xane asked.

 

"Dude..." Nulix said, looking at Xane, "The Brotherhood's current bid is eighty-two million. The U.P.A.'s bid is probably a bit more... what do have that rivals that?"

A large green Gummi Ship flew down beside Lexx and Abigail. "Lexx!" A soldier yelled, jumping out of the ship as it hovered over the ground. "We already got Skinnar and Pharell," The soldier said, "Come on sir."

Lexx looked at Abigail, "After you."

 

Falcus scratched his chin in thought.

"So if the price for the Virus increases, and more people become interested in it's power... the fourth god could in fact come under attack, despite the Virus's response. Yet if the god remains untouched, the virus will not be in its berserk state, and beatable... So we need to beat the virus before any one can take control of it... so in a way we play the backstabbing guardian..."

He shook his head, his own thoughts confusing him. he was glad that Xane and nulix were to busy to pay him mind. He looked over to See Crissilia and Xardius taking in the ship, but he didnt dare go near them, he knew either one could easily blow his cover. Xardius would sense him, and Crissilia would rat himself and herself out.

He looked back to Nulix hearing him and Xane arguing over money.

 

"What would a god do with money, anyway?" Xane asked, before turning to the Knight. "That plan has a problem. How are we going to kill the Virus, without the Fourth god watching us?"

Abigail stepped onto the ship.

 

"Everyone needs money, especially if he's planning to escape after..." Nulix said, "If he gets enough money he can pay for his escape and live in secret for the rest of his life... on his own private world even."

Nulix shook his head, "Hmm... that's an interesting idea... an attack on the Virus..."

Lexx jumped into the ship, "And were off!" Lexx said.

 

Falcus crossed his arms.


"Kill the god at the same time."

He shrugged.
"Or find some way to top our enemies bids. And then we destroy the Virus. We may have something to offer..."

He looked back to Crissilia, who didn't seem to notice the gesture.

 

"Why would a god need to..." Xane started. "Never mind. What were you going to say before? You cut yourself off...And, uh, random knight guy, How do we do that? I mean, All of us except Xardius had enough trouble with the other three. How do we beat this one?"

 

"Did I not just say we could offer him something better then money if need be? And between Xardius and Myself, i think we'd be able to take down the god."

 

"I can't really help with anything..." Nulix muttered, "I got my sight messed up... I can't aim, I can't fly anymore... But that's enough of my suffering. If the attack fails... and unless the fourth gods feeling generous.... we're all dead."

 

"Well, you seem full of yourself," Xane said. "As powerful as Xardius? As useful as it would be to have another living deus ex machina on our team, I'm not sure if we can trust you yet."

 

OOC: Wow did you guys know Division 2 still exists? bet they dont even remember how they got started... lol

Falcus walked over to Nulix and placed a hand over his eyes, in seconds his hand was surrounded by Chaotic Twilight.

"Heal..." Suddenly Nulix was surrounded by the twilight.

He turned to Xane as he held on to Nulix.

"You have yet to see me in battle, so I dont think doubting my abilities is very fair, and i understand if you dont trust me just yet. After all Trust is something one must earn with time. But I'm willing to bet you'll trust me sooner then you think.
