"Why not? "Xane frowned, his eyebrow raised.


"Probably because they've met up with them," Venture said, joining in on the conversation. "Haven't you?"

 

"Of course we have," Supreme Captain Cotaxus replied, "And they are under our protection. Although we could use the UO's help on another matter."

 

"Such as?" Xane questioned.

 

"You munkers are aware of the Virus, right?" Supreme Captain Cotaxus asked, "Well... its somewhere, out there. We need to find it... and tame it. We think that we shall have some difficulty doing this, so we want you to do it for us."

 

The virus? Noxas asked..." what do you mean about that? he asked
and how are you supposed to "Tame" a virus!?

 

"Sorry, but we can't be running errands for you guys anymore," Xane said. "Especially after all that LExx did. I guess the deal's off then. See you in Osidia."

 

Xane looked at Xane and asked about the virus

 

"Wait just a second, Xane," Supreme Captain Cotaxus said, grabbing his shoulder, "There is something Scourge has found, something that cannot be easily killed. Only the Virus can kill it. Please UO, we need you now, more than ever. Plus, if the Virus is under our control, do you honestly think any vigilante group like the Brotherhood could stand up against us? Against the Sora System? We could destroy organized crime, all thanks to you... people."

 

OOC: Wait...What?

BIC: "Now, we're talking," Xane said. "But if we do this, I want something in return in addition to you helping us defeat the Brotherhood."

 

"Name your price, we'll see what we can do," Supreme Captain Cotaxus said.

 

"Nothing big," Xane shrugged. "Just around ten thousand, Sora System currency."

 

"Ten Thousand all together?" Supreme Captain Cotaxus asked.

 

"Actually," Xane said, thinking for a second. "Make it twenty thousand."

 

"No," Supreme Captain Cotaxus replied, "Ten thousand, Sora System currency. Or twenty thousand, Ulfire System currency."

 

"Fine, fine," Xan shrugged. "Give me the twenty thousand Ulfire system currency."

The guards shoved Hojan out of his jail cell to make way for new inmates. Standing in front of Hojan, was a man in a business suit.


"Mr. Kaiba," the man said. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you."

 

"Alrighty then," Cotaxus said, pulling out a piece of paper, "Just sign here..."

"And you are?" Hojan asked.

 

"...You know what?" Xane said. "WE can discuss this later. Let's find that Virus."

"Who am I?" the man asked. "I'm not important. Who I work for, however, can return you to your once great position as a leader. Someone the people can look up to....Care to hear more? Or do you want to go back to jail?"

 

Hojan raised an eyebrow, "I'm listening."

Cotaxus smiled, "Excellent! We will discuss this in more detail later."
