The War of Angels and Demons

Zeliek sensed something was wrong and ran to her.

"What's wrong, Maya?!"

 

"I don't know.... the ring never reacted this way....." Maya groaned then the gem on the ring shone. Maya closed her eyes and disappeared.

 

Zeliek hit the floor with his fist in rage.

 

Maya opened her eyes and she saw she was in the past. She noticed a young man who was hugging a angel and a demon watching them. The gem dimmed and she looked around. 'How do I get back to the present?'

 

Zeliek sat on the bed and sighed.

 

Maya continued to watch the unusual trio and saw the angel was badly hurt. She heard the angel cast a quiet spell and her clothes changed into a beautiful grown. The gem glowed again, but before Maya left, she watched as the young man set away his two friends and sealed the two worlds. She returned to the manor and sighed.

 

"What happened to you, Maya?"

 

"I think I saw the past, when the Great Wizard sealed the worlds. I wondered how sad he felt when he had sealed away his friends." Maya saw at the dress the angel cast.

 

"I see. But how did you see that?"

 

"The gem must have sent me. I think it wants to knows how my ancestor did, so I can follow."

 

"Makes sense, I guess."

 

Maya sighed and hugged him.

 

Zeliek smiled and kissed her.

 

Maya kissed him back.

 

Zeliek held her and smiled.

 

Maya sighed and held him. Leon stood outside the room, staring at the grown she wore.

 

Luna clung to Leon and smiled.

 

Leon had his hand on her shoulder and noticed his sister looked a bit down.

 

"Something wrong, Maya?"

 

"Oh, I was just thinking."
