The War of the Nobodies

Several days ahve passed. Xengla's injuries have all healed almost. She was always a fast healer since she became a nobody. While she was recuperating she was continuing training her body to become stronger and faster. Better ways to defend. More effective ways to subdue. Of course, she was training gently, for the sake of allowing her wounds to heal and not split open again. Surely, I should be okay and better with another week or two.

 

OCC: no kidding. Where is Kouri and sakura then? still talking?

 

OOC: yes, I think that Xengla is on a world where time moves faster or something, because then Hades would have been napping for the whole time, Genservant and Xifernos fighting, and Cooper and Malum stuck in a grapple.

Sakura tugged at The tall kouri's sleeve."Kouri?" asked Sakura.

 

Cooper quickly reacted by flipping over Malum and turning around, kicking the back of his head and then swinging the sword at Malum's trying to knock it out of his hand.

 

Kouri turned to her, "what is it Sakura?"

Malum held onto the sword tightly, and then jumped out of the sand, his sword now pointed directly at Cooper's neck.

 

Cooper moved his neck back, slightly, the sword less than an inch away. If I move even the slightest, he'll probably slice my head off, he thought. He moved his eyes down to look at his hands. They were in the perfect position to shoot a lightning bolt at Malum. I wonder if I still have some of Sakura's power... he thought.

 

Lexah warped beside Phenox, "Hey, you okay?"

 

"Do you believe in love like I do? Hehe!"Sakura asked innocently.

 

Kouri looked at her with a blank expresion, "love... love... I have felt it, but probably nothing like you have, you see, when our soul was split, Genservant got most of it," she said.

A ball of black fire appeared at the tip of Malum's sword, and it began to grow, "any last words?" he asked.

 

Cooper's eyes widened more as he thought, I gotta try. I've only got one shot. He closed his eyes and pointed a finger at Malum. A lightning bolt shot out of his finger at Malum.

 

The lightning hit him in the leg, and he dropped the sword, but the ball of black fire flew strait towards Cooper's face, traveling at 160 MPH, "Damn it!"

 

"AH!" Cooper yelped as the fire hit him. He ran to the sea and dunked his head in it. When he emerged, he looked into the water to see his reflection. He couldn't believe what he was seeing: the fire had singed off a good portion of his hair and left a dark burn mark on his right eye, which he was now blind in. He slowly stood up and turned around, his good eye glowing red. "You... will... die..." he said, between breaths.

 

Malum smirked, "one day, but not today," he said, as he picked up his sword, and teleported away.

Genservant smacked Xifernos upside the head, and then Xifernos teleported away.

Hades was buried in the sand, but he kept sleeping.

 

"Full recovery!" Xengla shouted after waking up. Her wounds were now healed, a few small scars left, but those will be gone at some other point. She had regained confidence in herself and was sure that an incident like that would never paralyze her again like that. Time to go back. She left that land and arrived in Destiny Islands. Xengla got out her binoculars and observed that island from town once more. Man.....they're still fighting? It's not night yet? Well that's strange....ooh.....that guy's got a serious burn on his face......man, I think he's probably going to need some plastic surgery and possibly a skin graph.....I wonder what happened. She put the binoculars away and sighed. She still couldn't locate any member of Kings to ask to join.

 

Phenox walked up to Xengla. "You look very familiar. Have we met before?" He asked.
OOC: Ask and you shall recieve. xD

 

Nexon watched Phenox from afar. "Poor poor Phenox. Little does he know, he is going to die soon."

 

"Gah!" Xengla jumped and turned around, blade already in hand to defend and/or attack if needed. "Wha....wh....it's you...." Xengla said in surprise and wonder. She was speechless with shock. Then she quickly got over it and composed herself, making the sword disappear. "Uh, no, we haven't met. But...uh...now we have. Since we're here talking and such. But that doesn't matter now. I have to ask you something, if you may permit me. I would like to join Kings." she said, being nervous at first but finishing quickly before she said anything else ridiculous.

 

Phenox nodded at her. "I see... can you fight?" He asked. Phenox looked her over with his crimson eyes. "And can you fight well?"

 

Genservant walked over to Cooper, and saw what Malum had done to him, "I can help with that a little bit," he said.

Kouri saw Cooper and Genservant from far away, she turned to Sakura, "bring Nyoko, we need to help Cooper!" she said, running over to the two people.

Malum stepped out of the teleporter next to Pheonix, and bowed down, "master, I have succesfuly distracted the group of neutrals, they should be much too busy healing their wounded, instead of the chance that they may help the Rejects," he said.
