Robbie looked at the woman unsure at what to say. "Ok, I guess" he said as he went back to reading the book, hopping to find something that would put Sophia back in a good mood.

 

Enix rested her head upon the wood of the table with a calm expression on her face she toyed with the sliver mug that had been her drinking utensil from the bar. Enix seemed bored and half drunk but she kept her cool through the entire time till her bored mind had caused her to ask a unusual question of Robbie.

" So is this Sophia girl your girlfriend or something? I can understand why she is acting angrily towards you, especially with you running away from her all the time. You just got to man up and deal with her affection."

 

Robbie's face went red at hearing what the woman said. "She's not my girlfriend!" he said to the woman "She's just my compainion, my bodyguard if you like. She was assigned to protect me by the family. If anything I think she hates me."

 

Enix chuckled at hearing the embarrassed reply of the man, she leaned her chin into her palms asked the waitress for a glass of water to get rid of the drunken feeling within her. The waitress came back with a glass of water and Enix took it into her soft and elegant hand, staring into the body of cold and clear substance deeply.
" Sorry it just sounds like she really likes you to me, just how the way she is acting towards you. You know opposites really do attract sometimes."

 

Robbie looked down. "Whats a stranger know, ecspecially a drunk stranger. Besides, I only put up with Sophia because I have no choice" he said arrogantly "I don't need anyones help, I grew up alone and I will probably die alone."

 

Enix went quiet for a moment as her eyes wandered to the side, hearing the man's comment about how she didn't know a thing about this, but of course she did, she did know the true intent of love and how love could sometimes poison one to a point where it was too late.
" As you say I am a stranger and you can't go judging a strange without knowing what has happened in their past. You say I don't understand but really I do Robbie."

 

Robbie looked at the woman angerly. "Oh, so you spent your child hood alone learning about a fabled war and taught how to find artifacts from so said war. You spent your free time traing to fight and use magic instead of playing with other kids. You spent your child hood training for the reurn of creatures that don't even exist" Robbie said with venom in his voice.

 

" Well I don't know how it is to be a archeologist though, but I do understand how it is to be alone and unwanted. My mother abandoned me when I was only a small child and my monster of a lover ran out after he couldn't bare to love me anymore. I do understand the stress you are going through also, how it angers you so much."
She said staring into his eyes encouraging, speaking calmly to him even though spoke back to her with rage.

 

Robbie looked back, anger still in his eyes. "So you have to lead a family of demon hating zelots? I do when I finish this trip" he looked back down at his book, he closed it and stuck it back in his bag. He knew he couldn't read anymore in his bad mood.

 

" Jee, if you really hate doing this so much why don't you give up? You see to be much angered about it and plus if you really don't want to go back to your family then don't, there is other things to do in this world you know. I would gladly hunt a certain demon right now, but you see my life would do much better without wasting it, trying to get revenge upon a certain someone. You on the other hand need to thing of different options. You look like a smart man, so what don't you do something smart for yourself. Now calm down, you will make yourself sick if you get angry so much."
She said still talking to him calmly, trying to calm his nerves.

 

Robbie looked back at the woman. " You don't get it. I have a young sister and if I disappear she would be forced to take my place. I love my sister and I want her to have as much of a normal life as she can. Besides, don't tell me your delusional and think demons exist" he said as he grabbed his bag.

 

" Well worrying for your sister is a whole different story then, why don't you go get her out of that mess dear? You keep acting like you are so powerless, well I think different. And no I am not delusional, you see."
She looked around to make sure that nobody was listening in on their conversation and then she continued to talk.
"You see, my lover, he was a demon, and how by a fact I know this, it's very simple actually, his power was inhuman and I don't want it was about him, but just by the look in his eyes, I knew something wasn't normal. And I'm not making any of this up you see, this ring proves that I was with him, it has his family crest on the back of it and I don't I have ever seen a crest that damn scary looking in my life."
She said taking out the engagement ring that bore a amethyst on the front of it.

 

"Right, becasue I met a young girl when I was little and I saw her three months ago and she looked just as she did before. She must be a demon then" he said bitterly, this woman sounded just like the rest of his family. "My family has a large amount of mages and shapers guarding home. If I try and take my sister they will defeat me in no time."

 

OCC: And I'm back in good ol' Maryland. God I wish I was still on vacation. Oh well, at least I have a real keyboard sitting in front of me, not to mention it's wireless. I'm typing all this from the back of my bed. Aaaaahhhhhh, it's good to be lazy.

BIC: Despite the urge to warn her master of the in coming danger, she had her orders to obey. That was the problem with being a summon. There was no such thing as free will when an order was given. many of her former masters had died because they left little leeway in their commands. If that were to happen again...
Nas shook her head. Why was she so concerned with her master's well being when he constantly acted as though she were nothing but a tool. So what if he died from his own foolish mistakes. Never before had she had a master who was so ignorant of other people's feelings. All that mattered to him was to get the job done.
"We must hurry Ben. I mustn't keep Master Tristan waiting. We'll let him deal with the problem himself."

Transforming back into his human form as he hit the ground, Zack landed lightly in the quiet town of Edelsteen. It had been a long time since he had been here. About a hundred years or so. interestingly enough, not much had really changed since then.
Zack rubbed his ear. What a reckless demon he thought, If it keeps that act up, the existence of Demons will become common knowledge once again. Though I suppose that is not a bad thing.
Zack frowned as he stared at the rising sun. It seems the prince is going to have a big fight ahead of him. The question is whether he'll need my help before the end. Zack gave it a moments thought before leaping into the air and transforming again. The Order preferred Angelens to get involved in with mortal's affairs as little as possible. For now, all he had to do was watch.

OOC: ah man. I can't really advance the story until lil, Garx, and princess do their thing with getting Sammy kidnapped.

Lanan's grin widened as he waved to the children. "Alright then. Those of you who are old enough and want to fight, your chance is coming. The rest of you...go hide," he commanded. As the former slaves started scuffling, some looking for weapons, others looking for hiding places, he clenched his fists and turned to Eleanor. "Not to sound sexist or anything, girl, but I'm going to go ahead and say you're better with children than I am. The whole innate maternal thing or whatever," he winked at her as he walked past her, "I'm sure you have it." He put his hand in the other and stretched, hearing his elbows pop. He continued to stretch his limbs, getting ready for battle. As he did, he told Eleanor his plan, "Get them ready to fight. I'll go down the hall and stay guard. When you hear me howl, that means get ready because the soldiers'll be coming. Comprende? "

Your body is weak and I need my rest. And before the King could object, Ras'tepa put up a mental shield, blocking his thoughts from the King's. "Oh my, this body is brittle," he muttered as he walked towards his royal bed. Going up the small steps to the where the bed lay, he looked at the door. He was putting the King's body to sleep, but his own Demon body would be awake. If the girl changed her mind and tried attacking in her sleep, he would hear it. So he was safe for now. He climbed into the bed. "After this rest, I feast. And then, I get a new body," said Bryne's lips as he laid down.

Ruby's face snapped up. She had no idea the Prince was in the building. "They're still here," she said apathetically. "I almost left them. I almost ate a few, but I have my orders. Can't have them being attacked again, right?" She smiled deviously at Tristan. "I'm here to protect them~" She waved her arms and spun in a circle as she sarcastically labeled herself a guardian. She moved towards Tristan in an instant, her speed scaring the children behind her. "Don't you trust me?" She whispered.



"Go," was the only thing Whisk said. But that single word ordered a group of several soldiers, roughly 15, into the building where the Princess was. He waited a few seconds before following and then did. He wondered if the Princess would put up a fight. No, he hoped she did.

OOC: Lil' sounds very confident for a boy full of empty threats. What's wrong lil? I'm still waiting for that "butt whooping" you promised. Aw, does the lil' baby not have the guts to take on the Double Z's? No, it's okay; that's completely understandable. No one can beat the untouchable Pezz. It's okay to cry, lil', it only makes you even less of a man than you already are.

BIC: Tristan calmly looked Rubira in the eyes. "I don't make a habit out of trusting snakes like you." He said coldly.
Oh, how I despise this summon. Not nearly as interesting a that Nas of yours. chimed the voice.

Veina raised an eyebrow as she examined the lady before her. Something was off about her. She wasn't human, yet she appeared to be human. Just what was she? Veina couldn't help but grin. She could already tell that things were going to be interesting around this Tristan character.

 

" It seems you wouldn't believe anything even if it slapped you in the face thrice, because for all you could know I could be just some beast from the forest using enchantments to trick you into coming with me, you better be careful next time where you decide to plant and grow ignorance, because your sprouts might be smited by frost as my loved ones at home always used to say. But anyways go ahead don't believe me I'm fine with it. And anyways why on earth did you approach me out on the grasslands anyways? Is there any particular reason? Also was that book you were reading a good read?"
Said the young woman with a sparkle of childish intent in her eye, she acted like a little boy more then a that of lady.

 

"Come on," Sameire ushered Gemini into the building. "Let's do this quickly. I have a feeling we won't be able to keep our presence here a secret for very long." She had one hand on the hilt of her dagger, just in case, as she headed further into the building. It was dark and hard to see, so she relied on her hearing to find the kids. She was angry and nervous, and that made for a fast heartbeat and rushing adreneline.

"We're leaving?" Ben looked to Nas. "But what about..." Ben sighed. He knew Nas, and knew her well, so he decided not to argue. His smile returned as if nothing were wrong. "Okay! Everybody hold hands and I'll take us back. And remember Addy, don't hold your breath!"

Aduial smiled; she liked the nickname that Ben had made up for her. "I'll remember."

 

Gemini nodded, her usual smile no where to be found due to Sameire's tone. Her footsteps, already queiter than a humans, were now silent. Her body arched into a feline position which seemed to attract shadows to her in the way which cats melt themselves into darkness, ready to spring on any unsuspecting soul. She twitched her fingers, getting a feel for the air around her as well as scenting the air for the children.
