"My health is none of your concern," Ruby replied with scowl, "and I could make that jump, injured or not. And if by some small chance I couldn't, I could climb the gate without effort." And if all else failed, I cuold have simply broke through.

 

"I'm sure you're right." Gemini agreed, "But it can't hurt to be alittle careful. I'm sorry to seem intrusive though, I'm just used to being involved in other's troubles." she explained, hoping Ruby would soften up even alittle

 

Eleanor frowned. "I'm sorry about that," she replied. "I was really worried about how sick you were getting, so I had no choice but to go out and get you something. Drink this," she added suddenly, pulling the healing phial from the bag. "I need you to not be in pain by morning."

 

"Well, maybe you should-", Ruby stopped. She knew Lanan would be furious if she caused Gemini to leave. Closing her eyes, crossing her arms, and turning her head away from Gemini, she mumbled, "Don't worry about it."

"Excuse me," Lanan said as he bumped into someone who grunted and continued walking. Rude... was all he thought. Before he finished his train of thought, he noticed a few posters on the wall of a building. The posters stated the prince and prince of Ilianam are being searched for and the prince was none other than the Shaper Lanan was looking for! "He's...he's a prince?!" He said, a little louder than intended.

 

"It's all good." Tristan said causally. Tristan stared at the liquid and frowned. "It's not going to taste nasty is it?"

 

Gemini took this as a good sign but didn't want to push it so she smiled lightly and nodded. "Okay, thank you." she replied, walking over to the gate to peer into the town. She saw papers on buildings near by and squinted to see them better. "Oh.." she breathed out, bitting her lip as she recognized Sameire..

 

Eleanor grimaced. "I'll drink mine first, then," she said, and uncorked her own bottle and swallowed it in three gulps. "It's sweet," she said with a small smile. "And the pain's already leaving."

 

Tristan raised an eyebrow. "Must be some pretty powerful stuff you got there." Tristan took the bottle and took a gulp. He nearly spit the stuff out too. "Sweet, huh?" Tristan said with a smile. "Seems a tad bitter to me. Oh well." Tristan quickly drank the rest trying not to think about the taste.

Nas appeared from the gem at that moment. "All done!" she said happily. Suddenly she felt a powerful aura from the West. It felt familiar.

 

Ruby sped next to Gemini. Even in her current condition, she was fast enough to surprise Gemini. "What is it?" She asked, worried about Lanan.

Lanan wasn't sure what to do next as he ripped the poster from the wall. The Shaper's face made him realize the truth. He couldn't sense anything special like Ruby, he had no leads on the Shaper. Lanan had crossed a whole country in the time since he's last seen Tristan. He could be anywhere in Demoir by now.

 

Gemini did a double take as Ruby appeared so fast. "Uh, nothing. It's just I know her." she pointed to the sign. "I hope she stays safe." she added, frowning alittle.

 

Eleanor smiled at Nas, trying to be friendly. "Does the medicine help you as well? I met a woman that took our money in exchange for all this. I already bound your wound for you."

 

"The pain is gone, but not the shivers." said Tristan while glancing over at Nas. "What are you looking at Nas?"

"I sense someone.... It's a summon." Nas closed her eyes and called out to the owls. She would use their eyes to see what was up.

 

Eleanor followed their gaze, her eyebrows furrowed. "Another Summon?" she thought aloud. "What could that mean? How far away is it, Nas?"

 

Ruby frowned. The news didn't interest her in the bit. "Hm," was the only sound that came out of her mouth. She could still feel that presence, and she even recognized it, but she refused to believe it. "Let's go find Master Luna," She said to Gemini, her voice rushed as she tried to hide her worried. "Do not worry about my leg, this jump is nothing." She looked at Gemini, waiting for her answer. Masster can not be left alone if there'ss another sssummon here!

 

"Outside the town..." Said Nas with her eyes still closed. The owl, that she called, circled the town. Nas looked through it's eyes until finally...
Nas' eyes shot open. "Rubira!" She said suddenly.

"Who?"

Without warning, Nas jumped on to a nearby roof and began making her way towards Rubira. They had done battle with each other several times in the past. They were practically sworn enemies.

 

"What the hell?" Eleanor gasped as Nas left. She looked to Tristan, her mouth slightly open. "Do you know what she's talking about?"

 

Not far from the prince and his company, the Cloaked man was playing with his latest prize. It was a small box, no bigger than his hand, but was covered in engravings and a fine pitch black finish. At the front, where the lit and the base kissed, there was a beautiful lock laced in gold. Such a find this was. The box alone would be enough to hire a doctor if hauked at the proper blackmarket. However, such a Box could only be filled with something even more valueable, A ring, or maybe even a jewel.

The man's hood danced and shivered. He was weezing. Taking a few ragged breaths, he composed himself.

"Looks like I'll need to get a doc for both of us sis."

Shaking off the garments on the right side of his body, The man revealed his secret to the barren alley. The dark fur, the hooked claws, The hooded man was no man at all, but a beast.

Slowly, the manbeast shoved his pinkie claw into the lock yawning hole. After a few moments of jiggling and clicking, the boxed opened. Smiling beneath his weathered rags, the theif pocketed his prize again. He'll surprise himself on the box's content when he reached the market.

 

Gemini looked back at Ruby and nodded. "Okay, be careful." she agreed, still distracted. She crouched down and leapt up over the gate.

 

Ruby dug her hand into the gate and launched herself over it, landing right next to Gemini. "We need to hurry," she said as she fast walked down the road, ignoring the people who were staring at them.

Lanan leaned against the wall and slouched down. What am I supposed to do? Demons and Summons...The war was real....I don't know where teh Shaper is....and even if I did, what could he do with this knowledge...

Charles, Torrent, and Raphael continued towards The town of Nentrion in search of Sonia and the information that she possesses. "Is that Demon still following us?" Charles asked Raphael. But he was not paying attention to the question and just kept looking at the sky, even though the sun was in his eyes. "Torrent, do you smell her?" Charles asked to torrent this time, and all he got in return was a slight shake of the head from the wolf. Charles looked back and see anything, but they were getting closer to Nentrion and soon, they would be there.

Raphael, completely and totally zoned out, was still looking at the sky and soon became tired but he and Charles and torrent were getting closer to Nentrion and soon they would reach Nentrion and find Sonia, the girl that Charles was looking for.

Torrent, just followed the group, watching Charles think and Raphael stare at the sky. What was going on?

Sonia sat in her room thinking about the things the old man had told him. "Wait in Nentrion, you are needed by someone and they are seeking information." "But who was looking for me? And what did they want? And I still need to find that Vampire but he said it was important to wait for them. Aghhh, what should I do?" Sonia asked herself.

"I need some time to think, I am going out." She said to herself again, getting up and walking outside into the streets of Nentrion. As she walked past the bar where the old man told her to wait in Nentrion, she walked past about five people before she reached a creepy old building that looked run down. But the only thing that felt weird about the place was that it felt like someone was watching her. She stopped infront of the building. As she looked up and stared into one of the windows, she thought that she seen a girl but then there was nothing and no one there. But she knew she seen someone and was getting a bad feeling.

Rosine was hiding by the window, she was watching that girl, "So she is Sonia, but why was That angel looking for her?" I am going to have to make my move sometime soon, and when I do..." her voice trailed off as she left the room.
