The world of Laifel

Lanan looked down as he shook his head and crossed his arms. "I really don't know. The legend I've heard from my father's tribe -He was a Cylian- said they were banished. But where and how do you banish Demons?" It was a rhetorical question, so he continued, "Of course, SHE probably helped, if the legend is true." At the word "she", Lanan looked to the sky, raising a skeptical eyebrow.

 

OOC: Whoops, I missed Lil's explanation. What do you mean "she"?

BIC: Tristan thought over everything some more before speaking again. "Even if what you say is true, there is nothing I can do about it like this. It probably wouldn't be safe to go marching around into a place like that. Especially if my father really does happen to be a demon. No, nothing can be done like this. Not when I have so many people against me. Which is why I'm abandoning my old life, even my last name. From now on, I will be Tristan Dewn Lavon.
I have an idea, and it just may be a fortunate thing that we found each other, Lanan. I could use your help. If I am to do anything about the mess my father made, I need people to back me up, but I cannot do that as The person I am now. Tristan Alzeire is of no use me, but Dewn Lavon is.
Tomorrow, I'm going to buy some new clothing to disguise myself. I need to do something that will bring hope back to the people, and to do that it must be something big, and this disguise is just what I need to pull it off."
Tristan paused for a second before revealing what he planned to do.
"Tomorrow night, Dewn Lavon will free the children who have been made slaves. I plan to make these children the first followers of Lavon. You see, by the end of tomorrow night, I will make the slave market no more. That will be a big slap in my father's face."

OOC: Cloud of Darkness, the Fantasy/Sci-fi RP section are for RPs with Original Characters. Arrancars do not exist in this universe, stop posting Bleach characters in RPs, you didn't even read the first post.

@Pezz, I was giong to say something about the Cylian's version of the legend but Tristan didn't ask who "she" was so Lanan'll save that for another day.

BIC:

Lanan snapped out of his brief memory. "So there is no way to convince you to help me fight the Demons?" Lanan choked at the phrase "fight the Demons". "Forgive me then, I guess I thought of our Summons as something that gave us that duty." Lanan wasn't sure where the thought of fighting the Demons came from. He didn't incline himself to do evil, but he didn't call himself a man of justice. "Fine, I'll help you do whatever you want to deal with your father. I guess dealing with the Demon's ally will deal with them in a small way." Lanan shot his hand out, waiting for Tristan to grab it and shake it, "I'm with you, Trist-uh, I mean, Dewn."

 

Tristan grabbed Lanan's hand and shook. "If demons are as powerful as you say, then it's a good idea to have an army before taking them on, don't you think?" Tristan said with a wink. "Besides I lost something important here and I'm not leaving until I get it back."

 

"I figured a runaway warrior Prince could keep an eye on his belongings," Lanan joked, "but alright. First things we'll do is find whatever you lost and free the children." An army was a good idea, but children? I guess you have to start small. "Alright, but we'll need Naserrea and Ruby to fill us in the details of the War, including the Demons, but that can wait."

 

"Oh, I don't know too much about the war." said Nas absentmindedly, "I was kept in my gem for most of it and was mainly brought out for battle."

 

Ruby appeared next to Lanan before he could say anything, "Same here," she replied, avoiding looking at Naserrea. "But that doesn't mean I'm as clueless as the rat. I can fill in some details."
Rat? Lanan felt something in the back of the mind. Like there was something that he should have figured out, something important. Ignoring it, he replied to Ruby, "Another time. For now, Dewn's priorities are ours." The sooner they can finish this "save the children" nonsense, the sooner they can start on the bigger picture.

 

OOC: This is a post i've been avoiding for a long, long time

BIC: "Where is my brother" John yelled, hurling more air at Zuiden and Whisk. "And why, why did you betray, if it is becouse he left a lot, it was to help you" he yelled, getting tired.

Jacob looked at the oasis monster shake with an electric shock, then fall into the water. He took the amplified amount of lightning in the water andyelled at max"Het the 3 of you out of here.

"Yes sir" he yelled in response and yelled at the other men,. "RRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNN" as he started sprinting away, the other men following him.

"This might hurt" Jacob said quietly as he launched the lightning in most directions, where he knew where the creatures, all but 5 of them being fried, the 5 running. Jacob collapsed, into the watter, and noticed a preculiar looking gem at the bottom,

Sebastion stabbed 1 of the leechers, taking it's sword, and jumping up into the air. HE noticed Many of them dying at the back of the line from arrow, and noticed Gregory, running towards him. "My guardian angel" he said as the army started to retreat. "Huh" he said as he turned into his true form.

Gregory shot a couple more leechers, and noticed Srbastion looking at him. He smiled, and shot 20 more while they were retreating, and noticed an arrow flying towards sebastion, and hit it out of the sky with another arrow. A leecher snuck up on him and prepared to knock him out.

OOC: sorry i'm in the past, but i have some ketchuip to do

 

Eleanor frowned, thinking about what had been said. "How do you propose we free all these children with just us? The entire slave market must be full of guards and supporters."

 

OOC: Yeah..... Floating through the air by shaping is a good way to get yourself killed. No shaper could last even two minutes like that. Especially after fighting. I would have done that by now if it could be done. Doing that requires you to constantly move the Lineve, not to mention you are standing on it. Remember, the first thing a shaper is taught is how to conserve energy. NOT WASTE IT!

BIC: Karchit looked at the now destroyed camp, there were a few stragglers that were still fighting, but they wouldn't last long. Too easy.

Tristan smiled. "This wouldn't be a mission where we just barge in there. We have summons to do away with the gaurds out in front. From there, we look to the ways of the thief and sneak our way in there while taking out guards by surprise. besides, they probably don't expect anybody to do such a thing, so the security is probably lousy. I didn't even see any guards outside the place when we passed it.
But anyway, by the end, we will have the place under control and set up our headquarters there. This isn't going to be clean justice. We will be robbing the place. They probably have a fortune there, and we'll need the money. The young children we will send back to their parents along with plenty of money. The older ones, we can convince them to fight for us and pay them accordingly. Sending the younger kids back home with gold may also help to bring others over to our side.

 

"I figured you had a plan," Eleanor smirked, sheathing her daggers. "That's all well enough, but do you think both of us are in good enough condition to do this? Because I'm sure as soon as we get the chance you'll want to make a move."

 

"I don't like not being able to do anything useful. Besides," Tristan said with a smirk, "I've already lost like half my blood, how much worse could it get?"

 

Lanan nodded and replied, "I'm good to go as well. How's your leg, Ruby?"
"It's pretty much done healing," she said, looking at the side of her "pants". The stone section was now the size of one scale. In a few hours, she'd be good as new. She was skeptical about working with Naserrea, but she didn't voice her objection. She looked towards Gemini, who was now alone by the wall.
Lanan followed her gaze and addressed Tristan, "Gemini will probably want to help. But she seems a little...naive at the way the world works."

Zuiden ducked and turned, avoiding John's air blasts. He wasn't completely successful, some still hit him. It felt like a large fist punching him each time it hit. "Your brother was weak!" He yelled towards his adversary, "Just like you!" He didn't attack him, instead focusing on defending himself. It seemed that Whisk was doing the complete opposite.

Jumping towards a nearby tree, Whisk dropped his staff and launched himself off the branch, towards John, with his claws out.

 

Eleanor clenched her fists. It's my repsonsibility to make sure he lives, she reminded herself mentally. "I know how you feel," she said aloud. "We'll do something, as soon as we can."

 

"Well then this could be a good learning experience for her." Tristan said jokingly. Tristan gave Gemini a warm smile. "Hello there, Gemini. Nice to meet you."

Eleanor gave the girl a wary look, unsure if she could trust her. She seems friendly enough, but...

 

Jacob interested in what the perculiar gem was, swam down to get it. He picked it up and noticed it was a sword chain, he swam back to the top of the oasis and fainted of tirdness.

"Here little kitty" John said as he made a huge wall of air. "Can't get me kitty. Take this" he said as he launched the wall at Whisk and started to run towards Zuiden.

The leecher knocked out Gregory who fell to the ground. THe leecher prepared to cut his throat.

Sebastion, seeing the lizard knock out gregory , turned into his human form, took out his not his sword, and threw it at the leecher, slicing him through the head. He then warped to his real sword, warped to gregory, and picked him up." i gotta get you out of here he said as he started walking to the woods.

 

OOC: so sorry to have been gone for so long. i didn't have time to say i would be gone once i remembered, oops! but disney land was awwweesome... so yah, :) here we go

BIC: Gemini smiled back at Tristan and Eleanor and held out a hand to shake theirs. "Hello, it's nice to meet you too." she greeted them, "I can't believe it actually. You're sister is looking for you." she said more seriously to Tristan.

"Where is she?" Eleanor asked immediately, giving Tristan an "I told you so!" look.
