Eleanor swallowed and sighed. "Fine," she admitted. "If you really think that's the best idea."

 

"If you got a better place, then lets hear it. Personally I don't want to sleep there. It can't be good with all of our wounds and-" Tristan stopped in mid-sentence. With all the hate that the people had towards Tristan and now Eleanor, It was strange to that she was even able to find someone who was willing to sell her medicine. "Where did you buy those medical supplies from?"

OOC: OMG, Tristan is sooooo lame. I'm beginning to hate him >.<

 

Eleanor shrugged. "An old woman found me while I was wondering in the alleys looking for help," she began quickly. "She gave me all I needed in exchange for the gold. I didn't get her name."

 

"She just gave it to you?"

 

"Well she went past Edelsteen, so there and then tracking her path from there seems right." Gemini answered, hoping that the princess hadn't taken any big detours on her way

 

"Alright, we'll have to search around Edelsteen," Lanan yelled back as they approached the gate, which was being opened as they neared it. Not waiting, he thought to himself as he jumped over the gate.

 

Gemini frowned as she watched him jump the gate. Instead of following his actions she slowed at the gate and slipped inside as soon as the opening allowed.

Lanan looked behind him when he couldn't hear Gemini and noticed she waited for the gate to open. Really? We're in a hurry and she decides to use the gate? He slowed down, giving her some time to catch up.

 

OOC: i thought u were bored?... here: recap: tristan, nas, and eleanor met up with lanan, ruby, and gemini. they talked and decided to send out lanan and gemini to find ms.princess-of-which-you-write. tristan, nas, eleanor, and ruby stayed to scout and heal and make plans about slaves. nas and ruby don't like each other. yay for recaps!

BIC: "You don't have to slow down, it didn't take that long." Gemini said, catching up with him but not slowing down to keep pace.

 

Lanan sped up, but didn't pass her, or else it would turn into another race. That would be kind of fun... he thought smiling, but decided against it. "I'll let you lead this time since you know the girl."

 

Gemini just nodded, already concentrating on trying to find her scent. Every so often she would raise her hand to mold the air down pathes she wasn't going down towards her. Soon her head snapped down a street leading out of the city. "Found it!" she announced, turning her steps down the path.

 

OOC: Um, since Starseeker has quit... I'm just going to leave his character out of what's going on. >> Weird, I know...

BIC: Sameire and Eve had come to Nentrion at last. Her feet ached, along with her lower back. She ran a hand through her short, raven-black hair, and sighed. Maybe they could find a good place to stay for a day or two and get their strength back.

 

The skies were pitch black out on the open sea, save for the stars; they gave off the only bit of light. Hester lit a few candles. Things were quiet. Quiet in the dead of night always unnerved Hester in these waters, because it meant that an attack was imminent. "Joey." Hester called out to a nearby boy. "Go fetch our guests. I do have a bad feeling now."

 

Lanan's eyes widened. "Already?!" They had barely left Nentrion. Maybe she was closer than they expected. Well, that was a good thing. Hopefully Ruby hasn't caused any trouble yet. He matched his stride with Gemini's, quickening his pace a little bit. "Lead the way, kitty cat."

 

Sameire and Eve had barely taken ten strides into Nentrion before they were stopped. A large hand, belonging to quite the muscular man, came down on Sameire's shoulder. Sameire was about to withdraw her dagger when she realized that the man wasn't part of "her father's" army; he was just a citizen.

"Lookie here, gents," The man announced in a loud voice to the people around. "It's the runaway princess. That poster's got quite the reward for you, Princess."

"Go about your business," Sameire batted the man's hand off her shoulder, only to have him grab a hold of her wrist. She looked the man in the eyes now, taking on an air of authority. She hated to be so strict and regal-like, but some situations called for it. "Unhand me, sir, and I'll let this incident slide."

"Oh?" The man laughed deeply. "That's not going to happen, Princess. See, we could all use the money offered for your turn-in. Don't go thinking that we'll obey someone who plots against the King, her own father."

Sameire tugged against the man's grip on her wrist. She wanted to retort that whatever was sitting on that throne was not her father, but knew it best to say such a thing. "Sir, I will ask you kindly once more to please let go of me."

Aidou was not at all happy with the discusion that he and Aduial had had. He was right about her feeling ill for reasons other than fatigue; she'd felt something similar to a shockwave, and had not told him about it until now. He stood in the middle of the cabin with his arms by his sides. They'd gone over means of food - for both of them. Aduial was opposed to Aidou declining the captain's offer. It was true that she'd told Aidou not to hurt anyone, but Hester had freely offered. Aidou had shaken his head in annoyance at Aduial's odd way of thinking.

 

"Captain! Something is moving in the waters."

Hester grit his teeth. "All hands on deck."Vence, Juan, and Conners prepare the harpoons."

Joey ran the the captain's cabin and knocked on the door hurriedly.

 

Aduial, sitting cross legged in the middle of the bed after finishing the food that was brought for her, hoisted herself off the bed and to her feet. Her earth-like foot ware made nearly no noise as she crossed the room to the door. She opened the door to find an out of breath young man. Without a word, she could tell that something was wrong.

"What is it?" The question came coldly from Aidou. He and Aduial were not done with their talks.

 

Joey took a deep breath. "The Captain wants you on deck." was all he had to say.

Conners was working on his second Harpoon. He was nearly done when a Sea dragon Talon shot from the water and grabbed Conners around the waist. He attempted to let out a cry for help but was pulled into the waters before he could even open his mouth.

"SEA DRAGONS!" Hester yelled loud enough to alert the entire crew.

 

Aduial didn't ask questions. She grabbed her bow and quiver, and ran with Aidou to the deck. She had recovered enough strength to fight; though, there was nothing for her to Mold.
