"True," Eleanor agreed. "You know, for such a 'ladie's man' you're a good listener."

 

Lanan let out a small laugh and made his ears twitch, "These pointed ears aren't for nothing, you know?"

 

Eleanor laughed. "I'm not sure what to say to that," she giggled.

 

Lanan chuckled, but didn't say anything. He looked away from Eleanor and rested his head against the wall and stared at the ceiling.

 

Eleanor sighed and took out her righthanded knife, a smile still on her face. Pulling her cleaning cloth and whet stone out of her bag she slowly ran the sharpening rock over the blade. The sound soothed her greatly, and her smile stayed in place.

 

"So there's only three total. I guess we should report back now."

OOC: Yay!

 

Lanan's ear twitched again at the sound of the blade sharpening. He then closed his eyes and waited for Ruby to return.


Ruby nodded as she sped past Naserrea. "Beat you back, rat," she smirked.

 

Eleanor switched blades now, satisfied with the angle of the sharpened blade and cleanliness of the righthanded one. "I'm dying to use these on one of those b.astards that's made us stay the night in here," she muttered aloud.

 

Nas shook her head. How was she supposed to catch up with Rubira after she took off like that? Oh well, She was in no hurry.

 

OOC: My brain doesn't know what to do with Sammy... >>

BIC: "I hear her," Aidou held up a hand to single Aduial to stop. "If she's-"

"I know," Aduial cut him off. "If she's hungry then I leave. Don't worry, I can look out for myself. You should know that by now."

"As I recall, the night we met was the night I saved your life." Aidou reminded Aduial. "Do as I say."

 

OOC: make her spin in circles, get dizzy, and then fall on her face, lol :D

 

OOC: or she could go swimming!! wait... XD

 

OOC: she could do karaoke

 

OOC: OOOOR nas and ruby can come back now and we can have a party!

 

OOC: Nas could get Drunk and go all crazy..... but that would be bad for the little kids wouldn't it?

 

OOC: Damn it, Riku, I was planning on letting Lauren out, but not that soon. Oh well, I can work with it.

On a side note, everyone, I might be scarce over the next couple of weeks...personal problems.
but I'll post when I can.

Lanan clenched a fist and slammed it into the floor. The loud clank rang through the sewers. He smiled at the sound. "I'm kind of anxious for a fight as well," he told Eleanor.


Ruby could see the sewer up ahead. The rat didn't put up much of a race. "I'll circle around and make sure no one can see us," she called back as she made a sharp right turn and circled the perimeter. It would be dangerous if someone saw them enter the sewers. Maybe not a ferret, but it wasn't like she could transform into a snake.




Ras'tepa smiled as he slowly walked to his room. He had left the bars open, hoping the girl would follow him. He opened the door and walked in, leaving the door half open.

 

ooc: Sorry, I noticed you hadn't said he closed the bars, so I took a chance.

Lauren fought her way killing many guards, she reached the level that the king was on. She looked around, royal guard where everywere, she knew by now that they knew she was out.

Ekaf was following Ruby and the other summon, she noticed Ruby had split off, she though to herself what she was doing.

 

OOC: a drunk Nas... what a pretty picture... XD

BIC: Eleanor nodded, sheathing her second cleaned and sharpened blade.

"Don't mind me when I hone some mental muscles, then," she muttered, already focusing her mind on the rubble of stones in front of her feet.

She held her breath and stared unblinkingly at one stone, moving it alone to the side. Then she changed her flow of energy to the next rock in the pile, moving it on top of the other. Slowly she made a stack of pebbles, keeping a little of her attention on the last one each time to steady the tower. There was no way the stones could have stayed on top of each other in such a straight line on her own, but with her adding the amount of focus for each rock, the exercise held the little stack in place.

They aren't very big, she thought. But it's more of the precision needed here than the strength. I'll need subtle moves like this to take out guard without a lot of blooshed, especially if Tristan gets into trouble.

 

Lanan watched Eleanor with obvious awe in his face. He then smiled mischieveously and stuck his foot out, pushing the bottom rock out of place with his big toe.

Ras'tepa left the door cracked open and walked towards the window, keeping his back to it. He'd be able to feel the girl come in, but if she thinks she had the element of surprise when she didn't, then the element of surprise went to him.
"What to do, what to do?" he said quietly in a high voice. The voice wasn't the King's voice in which he's been disguised all time, but a mixture of his own mental voice and the king's physical voice. In his real body, Ras'tepa spoke a language only known to Demons.

Ruby had circled the area and made sure no one could see where they were about to enter the underground when something caught her attention. It wasn't a movement, but a feeling behind them. Familiarity. The same way she could tell Naserrea was near when she first arrived in Nentrion. Except this felt energy felt like a sibling's would. "Ekaf," she hissed quietly, her tongue starting to split. She circled back around and cut Nas off from entering the sewers and leaned in close, making sure NO ONE around could hear what she was saying, "Hey, rat. We're being followed. Want to have sssome fun?" She smiled slyly as she said it and then realized Naserrea's idea of fun wasn't the same as her own. "A Devil'sss...partner isss near. We need to protect our Massstersss," her tongue was fully split now.



Meanwhile, Tyaom's group of soldiers was getting closer to Nentrion. They would be there within the day.
Stopping in front the hundred or so men, the general turned around. He was the only one on a horse.
"Alright, listen up! We are going to be clever about this. I want all of you," he motioned to everyone on the right side of his mission, roughly half of the small army, "to circle around Nentrion and move in from the East. Make sure to leave a small group at each gate. The rest of you," He turned his attention to the left, "Will follow me. We'll come in towards the West, blocking the gates as well. We will then circle in, looking for the ex prince and princess. REMEMBER, we want them ALIVE." As everyone saluted, he pulled the reins and turned his horse around, continuing to move.
