The world of Laifel

Lauren jumped up and came down on one Royal guard, stabbing him in the neck. She pulled the sword out and moved as one Guard went to stab her with a lance, she had moved next to him and slashed down. He fell to the ground and she picked up his lance and aimed at the four remaining guards in this section.

Ekaf got to close to the two summons, she pulled out her sword and started the mimicing power, she hid close to them while she mimiced her powers.

 

Eleanor frowned and swore under her breath, but didn't blink or lose her focus. She restacked the rocks as quickly as she could and clenched her hands into fists as she levitated the tower off the ground. Biting her lower lip with concentration, she pulled one stone out of the middle of the vertical row and shot it at Lanan's shoulder, hard enough to make a bruising impact.

 

Nas closed her eyes and spoke to the creatures of nature, mainly insects. "I see." she said quietly. "Behind me." Root shot up out of the the ground towards Ekaf. They danced side to side, The way a snake would when looking for an opening, threatening to impaled her at the slightest movement.

 

Ruby smiled as her teeth sharpened and her hands turned to claws. "Behind usss...Can you feel her?" She wasn't sure if Naserrea would be able to sense Ekaf. Ekaf wasn't a true Summon nor a Demon so she didn't give off the same energy they did. Ruby guessed she could sense her due to the fact that Ekaf was supposedly made her from her Summoning gem.

Ras'tepa could hear noise outside. He kept staring out the window as if he didn't hear a thing.

Lanan grabbed his shoulder and yelped. "OUCH! Was that necessary?!"

 

Ekaf didn't move an inch, she was still mimicing Nas, she knew thsi would be difficult, but she also knew that the army would be here soon to take over, she had to hold them here as long as she could.

 

Eleanor laughed and shot the stones high into the air, hitting the top of the sewers and then showering them down into the dirty water.

"Didn't think you'd bruise that easily," she smirked. "Oops..."

 

"Do I sense her? No, I don't. The insects do though. At least they sense something other than us. Insects never give detailed information. I can't control them either. Not that that would help much."

 

Sameire couldn't take the smell anymore. "I think I'm gonna be sick...." She put hand over her mouth and searched the darkness for where she, Gemini, Lanan entered the sewers.

"Aidou, darling," A beautiful, soft voice called out the vampire's name from behind an ajar door.

Aidou opened the door and entered the room, followed by Aduial. "Mother," He bowed deeply to the vampire sitting on an elegent couch with an open book. "I apologize for coming unannounced. This is my traveling companion, Aduial Brun."

"A Cylian?" Aidou's mother looked over the girl.

Aduial couldn't help but notice how gorgeous Aidou's mother was, and how even the smallest of moves she made were graceful and purposeful.

"I've come to get clarification on the War," Aidou got straight to the point.

"I see," Aidou's mother stood, closing her book and placing it on the couch. "This is should not be overheard by an outsider."

Aidou nodded and followed his mother to the next room, leaving Aduial alone.

 

Lanan frowned at her, rubbing his shoulder. "I don't bruise easily...." He said, attempting to seem more hurt than he was.

Ruby's eyebrow raised and her face became surprised. "T-talk to inssscectssss?" She never knew Naserrea could do that. "Hm," she said, regaining her composure. Her claws reached their sharpness peak. She could crush the head of a child if she tried. "I'm getting anxioussss," she mumbled, wondering what Ekaf was doing.

 

Nas glanced behind her. "If she will not make the first move, than I shall." Nas spun around threw her spear, of roots, in the direction that the insects sensed the enemy. Nas used the wind to give the spear a boost in speed. She didn't use too much wind, wielding the winds could tire her out quickly, but she used enough to make it so the spear flew through air smoothly and swiftly. Its tip flew towards her opponent's heart.

BIC:Gemini's ears perked up as she heard Sameire searching for the exit. She stood up and walked over to her. "Be careful, you'll fall in." she warned, walking on the outer side of her, just in case. "You shouldn't go out there yet, I don't think... everyone wants you disguised first." she hoped Sameire wouldn't be upset by her words

BIC: Eleanor snorted and rolled her eyes, relaxing her mind. She was glad the tension hadn't tired her out much at all.

"Are you looking for an apology?" she said after a moment.

 

"I don't need an apology, Miss Telekinetic," Lanan said, growling playfully. It felt good to relax for once, even if he was anxious for a fight. Well, not with a Demon, anyways...



"Here we go!" Ruby yelled as she jumped past Naserrea, spitting a stream of venom to follow the rock spear.

 

Eleanor smiled and sighed, staring at the disgusting water in front of her. "Doesn't the smell bother you?" she asked through the cloth over her mouth.

 

Lanan wiggled his nose and with his right hand, grabbed the ruby around his neck, squeezing it. "It does, but I didn't want to say anything in case if you were self conscious about your body order," he joked.

 

"Rude!" Eleanor snapped, smirking. "Don't expect me to watch your back!"

 

"I don't know how you can stand this," Sameire muttered, her stomach still rolling. I really need to get some fresh air....

Aduial felt a bit awkward at first, being alone in a vampire family's home. The longer she was alone, the more her eyes wandered around the room. Eventually, she was walking around and inspecting the elegance of every detail of the room. She was drawn most to the pair of sapphire earrings that lay on a ruby red cloth next to the jewelry box on the vanity. At first, she was hesitant to touch them, but something was calling out to her from them. They looked as though they'd never been touched before; as though they'd only been carried in that ruby red cloth. Carefully, she reached out and laid her index finger on the gem.

 

Tristan leaned back against a wall. "I for one can'd smell a ding. I guess I should be gradeful dat Nas broke my nose." Tristan grinned widely. "Wonder what's taking them so long anyway?"

Gore stared at the distant town of Nentroin. He was traveling, from the mountains, with several hundred of his fellow Leechers, Nentroin their destination. His kind have seen the signs. The seals were breaking. It was time for the Leechers to act.
He could feel the presence of demons. Once again they roamed the world, though He had yet to meet one. However, he has seen a Gorgan, one was with them right now. If the Gorgan's were free, then the Demon's must be free too.
Gore grinned viciously. Human flesh awaited him.

 

Lanan was about to make a suggestive remark about backs that he learned from some crude humans before when he heard Tristan. "You know," he said, shooting Eleanor a look from the corner of his eye before he addressed the exiled prince, "that is a damn good question."

 

"I can't, but I haven't inhaled through my nose for quite awhile now." Gemini answered Sameire honestly. "Can you hold out for just alittle longer? Maybe if you try to sleep."
