The world of Laifel

Aidou looked down at the girl that approached them earlier. She was persistant. What did she want this time?

"We're doing well, thank you," Aduial answered politely. "You seem happy, so I assume that nothing is wrong. Did you want company, or something else?"

 

"Are you two... busy with anything anytime soon? You said you're traveling, so..." Eleanor faded off, unsure how to say what was in her mind.

 

"It just so happens that we're headed in the same direction that the town is evacuating," Aduial said. "Did you need something?"

Aidou frowned. If this Crossbreed wanted them to accompany her somewhere, she was barking up the wrong tree. Aduial was Aidou's only companion.

 

"These people need a guide and set of protectors to get them to the capitol city," Eleanor started directly instead of beating around the bush. "I can pay you two well if that's the direction you're headed. There's about a hundred of them, some capable of helping defend themselves. It should take a couple days at most."

 

"We'll do it without pay," Aduial agreed. The irony made her smile.

Aidou's eyes caught Eleanor's. This could work out for him. If he was 'protecting' this group of people, a few casualties - meals for him - could be easily slipped in.
"It won't be a problem at all." He assured with his smooth, vampyric voice. He smiled too, the tips of his fangs visible. "They'll be under our excelent protection."

 

"Wonderful!" Eleanor sighed. "You've no idea how much help that is. Do you know of anyone else that can help you... if you need it?"

 

"We keep to ourselves," Aidou replied, his smile gone.

"You don't have to worry," Aduial assured. "We can handle anything that comes our way."

Bic: As the wind blew across Laifel, Charles the XIII awoke, (I don't know if it is day or night)as he stared up at the sky he wondered why he had come back, it was a foolish choice but his choice none the less. He had come back to this world when he had heard news of the first crystal, that was forged from angels to seal the demons, had cracked. He had known that when the time came, he would return to Laifel and vanquish the demons that escaped....

 

Sameire had finished with the first three pages of the book. She took a look at what she'd translated and was a bit disappointed. So far, it was just about the different races of Laifel. But there had to be something more, she just knew it. Why else would it be written in a dead language?

 

"Wonderful," Eleanor sighed. "The people are gathering just inside the city right now, and you can find the mayor there. Just tell him Tristan has set you to lead the people to safety."

 

"We'll do that," Aduial smiled. She was glad that she got to help out.

 

"Thank you," Eleanor sighed, and turned to run back where Tristan stood. She spotted him and stopped next to him, catching her breath.

"It's taken care of," she said with a smile.

 

Becka shruged "So.." she said. "Which way are we going again?" she asked

 

"We're headed West until we cross the river and then we'll turn North before we make to the desert. We're headed for Ilianam." Lanan told her as they finally exited the town. I have a bad feeling... he thought to himself, but didn't say anything to Becka about it.

 

"Well do you know the way?" Becka asked

Background (Go into detail please! The more, the better!)- Naserrea is the spirit of nature and because of that she is a legend in Cylian mythology. She has had only three masters. A Cylian who fought and died in the war, a Cat, and a human. Being a summon, she listens and obeys her master. Right now she is dormant in some dangerous region of the world. She is once again about to make an appearance in the world. This time her master shall be Tristan Alzeire.
Appearance- Naserrea normally takes on the appearance of a young girl that looks 18 in age. Her hair is a reddish brown that flows below her shoulders. Here eyes are Jade green. Her appearance can change depending on her moods. If angry, her hair may burst into flame and her arms and hands will burst into water. She prefers not wearing clothes, but wears clothes anyways since her masters tend to feel uncomfortable with a naked girl around.
When wearing clothes she calls upon the silk worms to spin their silk. She then uses the wind to send the silk to her. Since the silk was made by nature. Naserrea can then magically weave the silk into clothes that she can wear. For foot wear, she wears the smoothest of softwood sandals.


That was fast. Tristan thought. "Who did you find?

 

"Come on..." he whispered.
Trenyan was waiting, up in a tree, in the forest the Lizards came to hide. The leaves did conceal him, but not completely. But if all works out right, that'll suffice.

He heard sounds. Perfect.
Flame Burst came back, running at a fraction of its maximum speed, a group of Lizards following him. Trenyan counted four of them.
His wolf made his way to the tree Trenyan was on, and turned around to face the Lizards, growling.

"Annoying creaturesz.", said a Lizard. "Szmarter wolvesz s-should not diszturb usz during our preparationsz."

Just then, a small rain of icicles came raining down on the Lizard group, and Trenyan jumped from the tree. He landed on a Lizard, flooring him, and also stabbed him with his wing sword.

The others turned around, and at the same moment, another one was floored, viciously shredded by Flame Burst. Surprised twice in less than a second, a third Lizard was slashed by Trenyan.

The fourth had time to react, and tried lunging at Flame Burst. Trenyan kept an eye on his pet, however, and Molded many icicles that flew right in the Lizard's mouth. While the Lizard was choking, Trenyan slashed him repeatedly.

There remained two Lizards alive, one that Flame Burst was pinning, and the one that Trenyan slashed only once. Trenyan jumped at the latter, and punched him several times, knocking him out.

"Okay, Flame Burst, stop. Keep him floored, but we need them alive right now."

Then, addressing himself to the pinned Lizard, who was the one who talked earlier, he said :
"And smarter Lizards should wonder why they could chase a wolf without being outrunned."



OOC : Can I make Trenyan wolves semi-characters? Since he sends them away often, like for messaging or diversions, I could say what the wolves see and do, even if Trenyan is not with them.
He has 3 wolves, but two are in his town, for the moment.

"A Cylian and a Vampire friend of mine," Eleanor replied. "They are both extremely well-trained and smart; very few lives will be lost under their command. They also refused pay," she added.

 

Tristan sighed. Two people was not going to be enough against several hundred. He had pretty much sentenced this village to death. "Come along now, we still have preparations to make before leaving."
