The world of Laifel

OOC : I'm not sure if I should thank, or insult you, Pezz, for totally destroying my biological rythm and making me to go sleep at impossible hours. :D

BIC :

Lythorne was feeling a thrill like none he's ever felt. Running thorugh the forest, using his magic to flame trees, shooting a few flaming arrows in every direction, putting a torch next to some leaves...

It was getting hot, and his eyes started to hurt from so much light. But he kept moving, hoping that his orientation sense doesn't fail him, and that he ends up at the rendez-vous point.

Trenyan was having a harder time. He had no magic to create fire. He could mold ice, yes, but he had no effective way of making fire with it. He also hoped that no powerful magicial or molder comes and puts out the fire... but at this point, it will take more than just one mage for that.
He was also worried about Flame Burst. He asked him to come back to the "forest", not "the mountain of ash". At least he told Flame Burst his plan.

Trenyan eventually heard Lizards shouting orders, and saw some moving through the trees. Without hesitation, he used his Ice Molding to kill them. After all, he had all his Molding energy, because he didn't use to light fires.
He, as well as Lythorne, met and killed a few small groups of Lizards, but had to avoid the army itself.

Thinking of the scrolls he sent to the King of Baflee, he hoped that the King could act fast enough. The Lizards will obviously move towards the east, out of the forest, and towards more Baflee villages. The disrupted Lizard army will be as weak as ever... if only the King could assemble all his armies fast enough...


OOC : The villagers, along with Aduial and Aidou, are technically somewhere near where the Lizards will move, no?

 

OOC: Eventually they will.

BIC: Tristan stood up suddenly, Oh no, he thought, The crystal! I left it behind!
Clutching his side, Tristan looked in the direction where Eleanor had come.

 

Becka smiled and kissed his cheek. "Well we better keep going." she said still smiling

 

Lanan smiled back. They had just crossed the river when he looked North and saw smoke in the distance of a forest. I am NOT going to see what THAT's about.

"I've never seen one," the soldier told the Princess.
The storytelling soldier nodded and said, "Neither have I, but from what I hear, I'd rather stay away from them."
"yeah, Vampire, Leechers, and Lizards....we can live without them." The "moron" soldier said.

 

"Lanan?" Becka said

 

"Do they have some sort of alliance?" Sameire sat up straighter as if she was interested. You'd think whatever the hell that thing is that looks like my father would put more intelligent gaurds with me.

 

"Yeah? What's up?"

"Vampires are supposedly loners. Leechers and Lizards travel in packs. They don't usually mingle with each other, but lately there's been instances where they've been seen together," the storytelling soldier said.

The other one raised an eyebrow and asked Sameire, "Why so curious, princess?"

 

"The lessons I get are boring," Sameire sighed with a shrug. "I only get to learn about 'important' things. That's why I spend my time in the library."

 

"Do you mind when I hug you or kiss your cheek or anything?" she asked. "Because if you don't like it I will stop."

 

Lanan thought about it before answering, "It's just like I told you before, I'm not used to affection so it makes me a little uncomfortable..."

"Well, that's the life of a princess, I guess." The moron soldier said.

 

"I bet you couldn't handle it," Sameire muttered.

 

Becka nodded. "I guess I won't do it again then." she said

 

"Looked like you couldn't handle it, either," The moron soldier said with a smirk, "after all, you're on lockdown."

"That might be a good idea..."

 

"That's because I know the truth, and you don't. So keep your mouth shut, you little pawn." Sameire snapped. She hated being talked to like she was a kid.

 

The guard was struck back. "Why you little...."

"Why don't you just keep quiet before you do something you'll regret to the KING'S DAUGHTER?" The storytelling guard suggested.

The other guard just closed his mouth and sat down in a chair.

 

Sameire sat against the back board of Tristan's bed, once again picking up the rune-written book. "Yeah, I'd hate to have to dent your armor." She rolled her eyes.

 

"Eleanor, Nas, I left something important behind in that bag of mine. Something very important."

OOC:lol, Damn It! I can't believe I actually made my character leave the crystal behind. I must have been extremely tired last night!

 

OOC: IT was 5 in the morning for me and you, Pezz, no wonder you wre tired lol

BIC: "Hmph!" The soldier decided not to say anything as he laied his sword down by his chair.

The storytelling soldier also pulled up a chair on the other side of the door and said to his partner, "you're obviously tired, why not get some rest? I'll watch the princess."

"Are you sure?" The moron asked.

"Yeah, we'll take shifts, we already have three guards outside in case something happens."

"Sounds like a plan," the moron said as he shut his eyes.

 

Sameire decided that tonight would not be the night to try to escape. She was in enough trouble as it was. After a couple of days, she'd see where she could go with her plan. She set the book and her translation on the floor next to the bed and then got under the covers.
"Good night, sirs. Please, do not strain yourself," Sameire said to the guards in her refined-princess voice. With that, she rolled onto her side, her back to the guards, and tried to get some sleep.

 

Becka looked confused. "Why would that be a good idea? Because you don't want to get close to people?" she asked
