The world of Laifel

Azazel drew his sword in his right hand. He could move fast enough to slice both of them in half before they turned around. He could easily recognize the male as a Wolf, but he seemed to have some Cylian in him. The girl was pureblooded Cylian, there was no doubt about that. She was obviously scared. The male seemed to be a little less scared, but he was standing his ground.

"Becka, when I give the signal, I want you to run. I'll try to hold him off to give you some time," Lanan whispered as he got ready to draw a bolt, "I'll only give you a minute or so before I run, too." Lanan didn't know why, but the creature scared him. Why am I scared? There's something weird about this..

"Enough talking," Azazel said, "Here I come!" As soon as he started charging towards them, the Wolf loaded a weird looking bolt into his crossbow and shot it into Azazel's shoulder. Next thing Azazel knew, there was an explosion on his body.

"Run, Becka!" Lanan yelled as he loaded another bolt

 

OOC: Wow! awesomely epic! You must be really happy about those bolts Tristan gave you, lol.

 

OOC : You guys and gals don't even want to know why I've been away all day today... but now I'm back, and it seems we have action! And spam! Hm... Spam! Refined Leecher food!

Lythorne saw an owl fly from a tree he set on fire with his magic. He realised that he was destroying the home of many creatures... but those creatures are probably better off with their home destroyed, rather than under Lizard domination. Still, he was destroying their homes. This got him thinking. That's probably why he didn't realise a few Lizards followed him. A couple of minutes later, he had exited the forest from the planned place, from the south-west in his case, and ran eastwards towards the rendez-vous point with Trenyan, still shooting arrows at the trees.

Trenyan had seen Lythorne arriving.
"Terrific work! Now, let's stop shooting flaming arrows. Humans will soon arrive see what this fuss is all about, and we want to look innocent."
He saw some figures coming from behind Lythorne, but the night sky didn't allow him to distinguish them. The forest fire couldn't illuminate them well enough.
"What? Humans here already? Damn, if they saw us, we'll have to run for it..."

But they were not humans. They were Lizards. Six of them, and when the duo realised that, the surprise made them stay there for a second or so.
"Foolssss! You will pay for thissss!" said a Lizard.

Lythorne had packed his shortbow, and took his dual swords out. He attacked.
Trenyan was surprised at the human's speed, but even more by his recklessness. He was surprised to see him mow down the Lizards, with apparently no problem. Impressive! He was nearly sure the human will get hurt. Maybe the Lizards didn't expect such aggresiveness. But unfortunately, more Lizards came. This time, their numbers were greater.

Lythorne was thrilled to fight, but he was overestimating his powers. He felt that if a thousand Lizards came, he could take them all on. This would've been a fatal course of action, but thankfully Trenyan was there to moderate him.

The Crossbreed, not so excited at the idea of figthing Lizards yet again, and ironically still next to a big fire, still jumped in the melee. The Lizards were once again too weak to defeat them, but unlike Lythorne, he wasn't planning on fighting now. It could blow their cover if humans arrived, and he didn't want to face all the Lizards lucky enough to escape, on their own.

"Lythorne! If they realise we started the fire, they could try to follow us. But if we stay here for one or two more minutes, the humans will arrive, and if they guess, we're in far deeper trouble!"

When yet another group arrived, he Molded an ice wall in front of Lythorne, and used his shortbow to shoot some non-flameing arrows at the Lizards.
Lythorne had hit the wall, stopping dead in its tracks. He wondered why Trenyan did this, but he was smart enough to come to his senses, and get out of his unexplained frenzy. His friend was shooting, rather unaccurately, arrows at the Lizards. Lythorne moved his hand to get his own shortbow, but decided to run. After all, it was the original plan.
"Time to escape", he said, and ran towards the East, Trenyan soon following him, leaving the hissing Lizards behind.

 

"Lanan I don't wanna run!" Becka yelled

 

Azazel stopped in his tracks. When the smoke cleared, he look at this shoulder and saw a chunk of it missing.

Lanan saw the man in front of him, his shoulder barely hanging on and blood covering his torso. A sure hit! Lanan didn't think Becka needed to run, he could kill this guy easily then. "What are you smiling about?!" Lanan yelled at the man and gasped when the man's shoulder healed right in front of his eyes. "You've gotta be kidding...Becka, RU-" Before his finished, the man was in front of him and he picked up Lanan by his neck.

"Uh, Beck-Becka, run" Lanan could barely talk. Am I dying here? Is it my time already?

"First you," Azazel said before he gave the girl a sly smile, "and then your little friend."

 

"No no no!" Becka yelled. She run up to the man and Lanan and started pounding on the man back. "Let him go!" she said

OOC: Deathking, make sure you read Pezz's post. He posted it after your last post, after you read that, i'll give you a recap.

BIC: Azazel could feel the Cylian girl pounding his back as he thought, What a dumb girl, like that's going to do anything.

What an idiot! He's gonna kill her! Lanan thought as he started losing consciousness. Lanan raised his leg and kicked the man in the face and pushed as hard as he could.

"What!" Azazel wasn't expecting to be kicked and let go of the Wolf out of surprise.

Without waiting to catch his breath, Lanan crouched and leaped at the man, tackling him. As he made contact with man's body, Lanan molded a giant gust of wind that blew Becka several yards away. Lanan jumped off the man and turned around, shooting another bolt of Lineve.

Azazel got up in the middle of the smoke and turned around. I'm done playing around. If you don't want to die quickly, FINE! Azazel shifted back into his Demon form.

When the smoke cleared, Lanan saw the man was a monster again, and even worse, he didn't have a scratch on him from the explosion. Damn, there's no point in running, he can easily catch us... Lanan growled as he remembered how fast the monster flew earlier. Lanan crouched as he turned his head to see Becka, still a few yards behind him. He turned his head around and saw the monster stab his sword into the ground.

"You don't deserve a quick death." Azazel said, "I'll rip your skin off your bones with my bare hands."

 

Becka stood there for a minute. Well I am not running awayshe thought. I should help him. So the she run up and jumped on the man/monsters back and started to try and choke him

 

I read that one a whle ago, i just didn't hav time to reply

 

"Get inside," Aidou ordered the remaining villagers. He took Aduial in to the inn. He went into the first room he saw, noticing that Aduial had Molded some chairs and a bed. He firgured every room must look the same.

 

Jacob getting very hungry fainted. One of his men dragged him away and brought him back to base where he got medical attention for using to much lightning with that ring he got which started to eat away at his muscles being out of food to eat off of

 

OOC: Have fun at the water park?

BIC: Azazel grabbed the girl from behind him and threw her near the Wolf. "Idiot girl!" he yelled.

Lanan dove and caught Becka before she hit the ground.
"Becka, don't do anything so foolish!" He gave her a stern look before he continued, "I don't know if you'll be able to get very far, but as soon as I attack the monster, run! That is NOT a suggestion, ok?"

"Talk all you want!" Azazel said with a laugh, "I"m still going to tear you to pieces!" He stopped laughing when he noticed the jewel in his pocket was giving him that strange feeling again, but more powerful. He paid it no more attention as he looked at the Wolf and Cylian. "So, are you ready to die?"

 

OOC: huh????? I don't get, but I'm probaly no, I'm a geinus

 

"Lanan I'm not going to run away." she said stubbornly. "And you can't make me."

 

OOC: I was talking to Garxena, actually. And DeathKing, I can't understand what you write, so work on your grammar and punctuation

 

OOC: Yes! But I got sunburned.... and I hurt my butt on the bottom of the wave pool.... >>

BIC: Aidou stood next to the bed and looked down at Aduial. It looked as though she was in pain, but he could do nothing about that.

"Alright, I told you what you wanted to know, lets see what we can do about this arrow in my side." said Tristan.
"Worse case scenario, you can use your blade to dig it out." Tristan frowned at the thought of that.

 

OOC: sunburned? Ouuuch

BIC: Lanan couldn't help but smile as he told Becka, "You're a very stupid girl, you know? But even if you don't run, I can't let you die here." Lanan got up and looked at the monster before saying, "I WILL kill you, even if I die doing it!" Lanan immiedately launched another bolt at the monster and ran at him on all fours.

The explosion hurt Azazel, but not by much. He walked through the explosion only to see the Wolf flying through the air, fangs bared, right at Azazel. Azazel was knocked down, to his surprise.

Lanan was on top of the creature and tried something he hasn't done since his father's death: he tried to grasp the creature's neck with his fangs. Unfortunately, the creature blocked Lanan with his arm. Lanan bit even harder, but to no avail. The creature kneed Lanan in his stomach, forcing Lanan to crumble over in pain, holding his stomach. I'm going to die here, I couldn't even save Becka...

Azazel stood up and grabbed Lanan by the neck once more. "Now you're going to die! I will crush your neck and rip your head off!" Azazel started squeezing harder and harder until he realized the jewel in his pocket was glowing so bright he couldn't see. "What the hell?" He didn't let go of the Wolf, but he stopped squeezing.

It'ss time

What was that voice? Azazel and Lanan both thought at once.

Azazel felt a strong force hit his stomach and blasted him back. He realized he wasn't holding the Wolf anymore, and when he looked up, he couldn't believe what he saw.

Lanan stood up, his jaw wide open. He was so shocked, he completely ignored the pain in his neck. Coiled around Lanan was what appeared to be a snake's tail, dark blue in color, thick as a tree and even longer than a tree's height. What shocked him even more was that the tail seemed to be the lower body of a pale woman. The woman was in front of Lanan, looking down at him. She was wearing a light gold armor, had long blue hair and her hands ended in sharp claws. Her fangs were even sharper than Lanan's. "What-what are you?" He barely managed to say.

"Sso you're my new masster? I can't ssay I'm impresssed, but I'm here to sserve you." Rubira said with a slight lisp due to her forked tongue. She couldn't believe her new master looked so weak, but he was her master nonetheless.
"M-Master?" Lanan had no idea what was going on.
