"Of course," Lanan told her. "Ruby!"
"Yes, Master Luna?" Ruby asked at the sound of her new nickname.
"You will not hurt Becka under any circumstances, alright?" Lanan ordered.
"Of course, Master Luna." Ruby said. He'ss quick with the ordersss
"See?" Lanan asked Becka. "You're safe. Now let's get out of here. We should find a place to rest before the sun comes up."

 

Becka nodded. "Your right." she said "But where are we going to rest?"

 

Lanan thought for a minute. He was used to sleeping outside, but after being attacked by that "Demon", he felt a little uneasy.
"Let's just head north until we reach a town." As soon as they found a place to rest, Lanan planned on finding about the not-so-mythical legend

 

"That land wasn't well cared for. I could feel its cries. you see, I'm the spirit of nature." said Nas proudly.

Tristan thought for a moment as the boat slowly made its way through the water. It was nearly dawn, he was very tired. "You know," said Tristan, "When I was told tales about the legendary summons, I always imagined them to look monstrous or something, but here you are, a real live summon, and you look like a human."

"I look human?" Nas examined herself curiously."Yes....yes I suppose you're right, but this isn't what I really look like."

 

"Alright." Becka said. "But do you have any money?" she asked

 

Lanan padded the small pouch tied to his waist and he could hear a few coins jingling.
"Not a lot, but it won't be too hard to earn some money," He replied as they walked, "and if we're lucky, some good-hearted person might give us some free shelter." He thought of the farmer he had saved near Triwn. That seems so long ago now....
"Rubira, I have some questions for you," his tone was so serious, he forgot to use his Summon's new nickname.
"Yes, Master Luna?" Ruby had an idea of what these questions concerned.

 

OOC : Nooooooo! Now I have to kill MORE Lizards? Thanks a lot, Double Z... I guess I had it coming though ; those reptiles want comeback! :guns4::guns::guns3::guns2:

BIC :
Just hearing his old friend's voice gave Trenyan strength. His fatigue seemed suddenly distant. The Lizards had turned around to see where the voice came from, and Trenyan jumped on the opportunity. The Lizards that had to turn around, he slashed them with his Wing Sword.
Lythorne was quick enough to plan the same action as Trenyan, but was slower in actually doing it. But after Trenyan pounced, so did he, on the opposite direction.
Kurt saw Trenyan and the mysterious human with him. When they attacked, so did he, hacking with his Scythe.
The group of Lizards, outnumbered and outclassed, met its demise quickly, as the other humans closed in on them.

Flame Burst had left, and was running towards the West. He knew he won't be there as soon as his master expected. Not only that, but he couldn't give the scrolls to the Shaper... but he did give them to someone who seemed responsible and in charge.

The mayor had arrived in front of Cheslidair's castle. For someone as important as him, finding transportation wasn't a problem at all. It has barely been two hours since the hooded Ice Molder irrupted into his office, giving him strange scrolls.
While he was transported to Cheslidair via chariot, he read the plans. That man is unsure of a lot of things, he thought. But his predictions do sound like what Lizards will do. King Lefian will know what to do better than me.
The mayor had little trouble getting through the security guards, and his visit didn't pass unnoticed. No wonder that man could enter my office. Our castles and town hall could use more protection. King Lefian must know this.
Soon, his escorts let him in a guest room, while several men went to alert the King of his presence.

Becka looked at Lanan and then at Ruira. she is so weird she thought.

 

Tristan closed his eyes and tried to relax by listening to the sounds of the lake. "Oh? Then what might your real form be?" Tristan asked in a calm but interested tone.

Nas closed her eyes and smiled. "Why, it is the form of a ferret, of course! Isn't it obvious?"

Tristan's eyes opened with surprise. He then chuckled to himself. Should have known. thought Tristan.

“King Yefian, there you are!” Cried out one of the servants that was sent to tell the king that the mayor had come looking for him.

Seclem looked over to see who was calling his name. He smiled when he saw one of his loyal servants. “Oh hello, Biffem, what is it that you want?”

“The mayor from the town of Quel has come to see you. He says it urgent.”

“Urgent? Must be about the lizard raids then.” Seclem said to himself as he examined a nearby tapestry.

Biffem looked at the tapestry for a second and turned his attention back to the king. “Shall I lead the way, Sire?”

Seclem glanced back at Biffem and smiled. “Yes, please do.”

Biffem smiled back and lead the way.

 

"So, Ruby," Lanan started as they walked, "The War of Angelens and Demons was real?"
"Yes, Master Luna," Ruby replied. "The first time I was awakened, a Demon was my master during the War and we fought against the Angelens."
Lanan had heard of the story from his father when he was a kid, it was a common fairytale...or so he thought. But he never heard of any "summons".
"So you're on the Demons' side?" Lanan stopped walking before he asked.

"My Master's intentions are my intentions. The Demon wanted me to kill, so I killed. I did enjoy it," Ruby said with a smile, "But I had to follow my master's order. Which is why I won't kill this girl," she pointed to Becka, "because your order is for me to let her live."
Lanan continued walking, thinking hard about his next question.

 

"Lanan." Becka said. "I'm getting really tired, do you know where the next town is?"

 

Lanan was shaken out of his thoughts by Becka's voice.
"Hm? It's at least a day's walk away, I'm pretty sure." Lanan could've made it running in less than half the time, but he couldn't leave Becka alone.
He looked around, behind him in the distance was the Desert, to their right was a river that fed into Lake Riverae and the left was just an ocean.

 

"Could we just sleep on the ground?" Becka asked

 

Nilaero, the Mayor of Quel, waited patiently in the guest room. When the King arrived, he got up from his chair, and despite the urgency of the situation, was curteous enough to let the King talk first.

The Lizards had been slaughtered without mercy. The humans were all throwing insults at "those reptiles who set the forest ablaze.". Kurt too thought that the Lizards started the fire, but he heard rumors that entire legions of Lizards were running out of the forest...
"Trenyan! Good to see you again! Did you receive my message?"
"Yes, Kurt. I wanted to return to Ilianam for a while now, but I've been very busy. I heard that the Lizards blocked all roads to Baflee ; is it true? How did you get here?"

Lythorne guessed the two men knew each other very well, otherwise they wouldn't start talking so quickly. He wasn't sure what to do.

"I remained hidden. Lizards aren't blocking the roads directly, but you can't travel without risking your life, you know? I moved through less obvious locations, and came here unharmed. Now, who is this man you fought with?"
"Oh. This is Lythorne. We've met some time... actually, a few hours ago."
After the introductions, Trenyan suggested to move away from the noisy crowd.
They walked south, and found a village that had been destroyed by Lizards. However, the hordes of humans going to the forest had made the village a temporary resting place.

"I've missed some action, did I? What's going on?"
"I hoped you would answer that question for us. Tell me, what do you know, and why did you make me come back to Ilianam?"
"Can I talk in his presence?", said Kurt while looking at Lythorne. "No offense."
"Yes, I trust him.", said Trenyan. He was surprised by the veracity of his words. After all, he DID met Lythorne a few hours ago, and they even started off the wrong foot, with the unlucky human asking for change.
"Lythorne will be traveling with me for some time ; I still owe him for helping me. So, Kurt, tell us what you know."



OOC : Three characters in the same place make you feel a bit unoriginal.

 

Lanan thought for a few seconds, still nervous about Azazel's attack.
"Yeah, I guess that'll work. But let's go under those trees over there."
As soon as Lanan reached the first tree, he fell on his back. I guess I'm more exhausted than I thought...

"Are you alright, Master Luna?" Ruby asked, geniunly caring for him.
"Yeah, just tired...if anything happens, wake me up, alright, Ruby?" Lanan asked, his eyes already closed.
"Of course, Master, I'll protect you." Ruby assured him.

 

Seclem motioned the mayor to sit. "Let's see, the mayor of Quel..... Quel...... Ah, that's right, Nilaero. So what so important that you needed to come all this way to see me, Nilaero? Wouldn't a messenger have sufficed?

Hachit looked down at the villagers. only a small group compared to the 700 he brought with him. A horrible smell came from beside him.

"Shame there's no children with them." said the nearby Leecher. He went by the name Screech.

 

OOC : Hachit is at the forest fire, right? Do you mind if we don't call the people "villagers", but, I dunno, "humans" instead? That'll avoid confusion with the "villagers" that left Triwn.


BIC : Nilaero looked straight into the King's eyes.
"A messenger wouldn't have had the same impact, sire. I needed you to see just how serious this is.
A hooded man irrupted into my office a few hours ago, and gave me these documents", he said, handing them to the King.
"He claims to have spied on the Lizards, and those papers hold his findings.
He also mentions he plans to set Faeyland Woods on fire, as to disrupt the Lizards!"

Lythorne shared his own thoughts as Trenyan and his friend Kurt talked. Making sure no one can hear them, they hid behind the remains of what was once a house.
Lythorne wondered who exactly was Trenyan, if he had friends in Ilianam, who knew what was going on.
But unfortunately, Kurt didn't know much. He mentioned that mysterious events have been happening all over the continent, and that his village, whatever it may be, is sure that major events are about to happen.

"Good", said Trenyan. "Now tell me the punch. If that was all there is to it, you wouldn't have called me to Ilianam, much less come here on your own."
"You are curious, aren't you? Who wouldn't be? You might have not heard, but there is trouble in Ilianam's royal line. Will you believe me if I said that the King had his eldest son beheaded?"
"Should I?", said Trenyan, used to his friend's obsession of turning every affirmation into a question.
"Not only that, but the King also sent his other son into exile. Did you know that?"
"Didn't know, didn't care, now I know, yet I still don't care."
Kurt laughed. "Never getting tired of those catchphrases, old friend?"
"Okay, so the King hated his sons. But what about his daughter?"
Trenyan looked at his new-found friend with a curious eye. "Sounds like I'm the only one not up-to-date with the latest political problems."

"Exactly! What about her? She is the next one to be executed or exiled, right? She must know something."

Lythorne's mind was sharp. He had guessed something was odd in Kurt's words.
"I am not a spy", he said. "You can talk in front of me. Hours ago, I was begging on the streets. I'm not someone important."

 

Seclem frowned while read the message, and the frowned even more when he finished. He thought for a while.
"Grave news indeed." he said finally. "however we will not raise arms against them, not on their ground. I thank you for this message I'll be sure to address it properly. You may take refugee in our guest room for now, but your town needs you. return to them as soon as possible."

OOC: gotta go for now, will be back in about an hour.

 

The general of Ilianam's army had stayed late in the castle, planning how to split the army into the groups the King desired. He had spent all night in the castle's council room, going over names of soldiers, figuring out who was best for what job.
As he finished his plans, he heard the King's voice shouting through the halls.
He got up and rushed out, holding his papers in his hand.
"Yes, your majesty?" He was already tired of calling the King that.

"General!" The King yelled, "You're still here!"
The general could see the King was angry beyond reason. Did he find out about Sameire staying in Prince Tristan's room? He couldn't be this furious at that, could he?
"Yes, I was going over the plans for separating our army into groups, as per your orders."

"I have a new order!" The King yelled. "I want the land searched for that brat, Tristan!"
"Your-your son?" The general asked.

"Yes! Make another group and find him immediately!" The King turned around and walked down the hall.
"Another thing, general!" he said, turning back around.

"Yes?"

"Take me to Sameire's room, I want to have a talk with her."
Damn! The general was scared to say what he had in mind, "Princess Sameire is-well, she's in the Prince's room. She wanted to stay in there and as long as she was guarded, I didn't see any harm in it." The general said, looking at his feet.

The King glared at him. "Those were not my orders." Ras'tepa started walking towards the general, "But no harm is done, take me to her now."

 

Jacob walked into the dining room, and one of the many chefs sad" Happy birthday sir"
"O my god, I forgot it was my birthday, Whoo, ouch" he said as he started jumping around, then his stomach suddenly started hurting, and he remembered his some of his stomach mucles had decayed. He asked the chef for some meat, and went and sat down waiting for the food to get ready.
