"I feel something weird, Master Luna," Ruby whispered.
"That's weird, because I smell something stra-oh, hey," Lanan stopped when he saw a beautiful young human walk behind the counter.
"Hello," she said, blushing. "I'm Ash, I run this Inn. Do you two need a room?" A member of the Wolf Clan? And is she a human? She seems a little pale...why are they traveling together?

Lanan looked around, he didn't see anyone suspicious and he couldn't place what the smell was or who it was coming from. He turned back to the innkeeper and smiled, but kept his lips closed so his fangs wouldn't intimidate her. "I'm Lanan and this is my...friend, Ruby. And yes, a room for two. I don't have much money, though," he said as he emptied his pouch onto the counter. "Will this be enough?"
Ash looked at Ruby before looking at Lanan again, she smiled and looked at the coins, "Oh yes, this is more than enough," she said taking only half the coins, "I take pride in my inn's prices. It's friendlier to travelers and it gets me business," she said as she tilted her head, still smiling.

If I was a human... Lanan picked up the rest of the coins and refilled the pouch. "Well, I'm extremely grateful, then, Ash."
I think I'm going to be sick... Ruby thought, looking at the two. She couldn't tell if they were flirting, being nice, or if Master Luna was playing on the girl's emotions.
"Here's your key," Ash said as she pulled a key from a drawer and handed it to Lanan, blushing as their hands touched. Noticing they didn't have any bags, she continued talking. "You're room is on the second floor, up the stairs and to the right. It'll be the last door on the left." She looked at Ruby as she asked, "Is two separate beds okay?"

"Yes!" Lanan immediately answered, realizing what Ash thought of his and Ruby's relationship. "I mean, yeah. Thank you, Ash." He said as he turned to walk to the stairs. "Let's go, Ruby."
Ruby shot the girl a look and followed Lanan up the stairs silently.
He wasn't a full wolf, he was a crossbreed! So maybe that was his sister... Ash thought as she sat down, humming a song.

 

Alira followed up the stairs, keeping a distance, this stone was the one, the one she had made Ekaf from, she must eliminate ths one.

When they reached the end of the hallway, Lanan inserted the key into the door.
He opened the door and looked inside: two beds, separated by a small table with an oil lamp on it. Next to the door, there was a small desk with a mirror next to it. "Close the door, Ruby." Lanan said as he leaped across the room and landed on the bed farther from the window. He rolled over as he heard the door shut and a red light blinded him.
"What the-?" he said sitting up. He then realized the sun had shined through the window and on the ruby he was wearing around his neck. I forgot I was wearing this, he thought. He looked up and saw Ruby opening the window.

As Ruby opened the window, dust flew everywhere. "You'd think that human could clean the dust before she rents out rooms," she muttered, not hiding her disgust of Ash. She looked outside and noticed no one was around. "Can I go into my real form now, Master Luna?" she asked, still being formal. "No one can see through the window and I locked the door."
Lanan was staring at the ruby and barely heard Ruby, "Yeah, sure," he muttered, not knowing what he had agreed to until he looked up to Ruby's face in front of him, fangs bared. "Ruby!" Lanan gasped, looking around. Her tail was curled all around the room and she was leaning on the foot of his bed.
"Didn't mean to ssstartle you," She said in her natural voice, smiling at the sound of her lisp.
"It's alright, Ruby," Lanan said with a smile, "so, how exactly were you sealed into this gem?"

 

Alira was outside the room they had entered. She tried to open the door, but it was locked, she let out a demonish growl that everyone in the building could hear clearly.

 

"Well, you sssee-" Ruby was interrupted by a loud growl. "Hsssss!" She hissed loudly as she spun around, her tail cracking the walls as she turned.
Lanan heard the growl, too and jumped off the bed.
"Ruby, disguise yourself!"

"But, Massster-" Ruby begged as she looked at Lanan.
"Now!" Lanan yelled as he rushed to the door, curious, but ready for anything. By the time he reached the door, Ruby was next to him, as a normal human.
Lanan opened the door and saw what he thought was a young lighthaired woman, carrying a long sword. Lanan soon realized she was the source of the smell earlier.
"Can I help you?" Lanan asked without smiling.
"What do you want?" Ruby asked at the same time, looking around the door

 

Alira: EKAF!
She had a deep voice right now.

The Window Shaterred behind them as Efaf jumped through it, her blade was at Lanan's back in an instance.

Alira: Yes, hand over the summon, now!
She had a normal voice. But she had the pressence of a stronge demon around her.
Lira: I wish to have my Brother's summon.

occ: G2G.

 

Lanan had no idea what was going on. At first, he was staring at the girl when she yelled something in a deep voice.
In the next second, he heard glass shatter, felt a sharp tip on his back, and was spun around as Ruby grabbed him and threw him out the window.

As he fell through the air, he Molded wind to stop his fall. "Ruby!" He yelled looking up at the window.

Ruby transformed halfway while throwing Lanan out the window. She still had human legs, but her fangs and claws were out.
She grabbed the sword of the person who jumped through the window with one hand, the person's shoulder with the other and slammed her into the girl in the hallway. Ruby then jumped outside and finished her transformation, using her tail to cushion her fall.

 

As the group exited the forest, Charles peered back in to see if the eyes were still looking at them, but there was nothing there, as he turned back around, he suddenly stopped. "What did hose eyes belong to, Raphael?" Charles asked without turning around, "And were they the real reason you decided to stay with us last night..."
"hey belonged to a monster, i have no idea what it is or what it is called, but i happened to come across it about three days ago, and ever since, it has followed me, that is why i asked to go along with you, because it hasn't attacked while there are more than one person around..." Raphael responded, sounding scared...
But before he could manage to say anything else, Charles held up his hand, a motion to be quiet..."So, as long as you are near us, that Thing will also, and you want to stay in a group....yes, you can stay but we will deal with it, the next time any of us see it," Charles responded with a sense of leadership in his eyes and voice....

Torrent listened to hem talk, and then he heard it...laughing, he turned back into the forest, but didn't see anything, and then he smelled it, rose petals...

 

Zuiden heard the sounds of battle outside.
He had "recruited" over half of Jacob's men.
That fool thought these men were loyal to him! he thought as he started walking outside, snickering to himself. They'll easily switch sides if you make the right promises...
Zuiden looked at the battle going on in front of him. His men had everything under control, why should he dirty his hands?
"When that poor excuse of a leader arrives, he's in for a surprise!" he yelled into the sky over the sounds of battle.

 

Jacob took his things and left, heading for the desert

 

Gemini skipped ahead abit so she was walking backwards and facing Sameire. "When you find him, are you thinking he'll come with on your explorations?"
