"Is that true, Ruby? Is that why you're so....malicious? Because your last master was?" Lanan asked, geniunely curious.

"No idea," Ruby bluntly stated, "I have no memory prior that awakening. It isss possssible that hiss "desssire to kill" wass implanted into my persssonality." But she wasn't entirely sure if that's how it worked.
"Alright...one final question," Lanan said, "What are you planning on doing with two Summons?" Lanan readied his claws, just in case...

 

"You mean one summon, Ekaf is a fake" she said it loud so Ekaf could hear.

"What?" Ekaf said in shock, she always though she was a real summon, she lowered her sword.

 

"Fake?!" Lanan and Ruby both gasped.
Ruby gave a cruel smile to Ekaf, contemplating attacking her in her state of shock. Before she had a chance, Lanan spoke up.
"How did you make a fake Summon?" Lanan asked. His initial fear of Alira was completely overcome by curiosity. He quickly gathered himself and added, "I'm sorry that I keep asking these questions after saying I only had one left...but can you still answer them? Before I give you Ruby, that is?

 

"That is one I cannot answer, but it is an ancient Demon art, I am the last of the Demons who know it, but Ekaf is a copy of Ruby" she said with a grin.

Ekaf fell to the ground, lost in shock

 

Ruby gave a small laugh when she saw Ekaf fall to the ground.

"So...You're brother is Ruby's previous master," Lanan said, trying to grasp the information, "and Ekaf is pretty much her sister...by the way, you didn't answer my question: What are you planning to do with two Summons, even if one is fake?"

 

"I plan to release the others, by using the summons to release the seal by destroying the crystals" she said with a grin.

 

"That's what I thought," Lanan said with a small smile. He turned around and saw Ekaf still on the ground. Of course, the information shocked her...she just found out her life has been a fake.... Lanan looked up at Ruby and started the command, "Ruby, from now on, your Master...will remain ME!" Lanan yelled as he turned around and shot a Lineve bolt at Alira. }OOC: Lineve bolts explode on contact{
BIC: "Ruby, let's go!" He yelled as he jumped on Ruby's tail.
Ruby slammed her thick-as-a-tree tail on Ekaf as she sped away with Lanan on her back. "Nicce Plan!" Ruby yelled as she moved as fast as she possibly could.
Lanan had never moved that fast in his life. Ruby was moving faster than Lanan ever had. Holding on to dear life, Lanan turned his head to see what became of Alira and Ekaf.

 

Ekaf had disappeared.

Alira was standing in front of Ruby in a second, she had moved with ease. She though to herself that a summon could move faster, she haden't even pushed her self.

 

Ruby swerved to avoid Alira, spitting a straight stream of venom at the lower half of the Demon.

Lanan almost slipped as Ruby's body twisted. Damn, she's faster than Ruby! he thought as noticed Alira.
OOC: Ruby's venom has two powers. When she bites, it's poisonous, when she spits, it turns it's victim to stone

 

Alira dodged the Venom and ran infront of Ruby again, she was laughing at how they were trying to run away.

ooc: Thanks for the warning.

 

OOC: Wasn't really a warning so much as information

BIC: Ruby swung her tail and launched Lanan onto the roof of a nearby building as she stopped in front of Alira. "Ssstay sssafe, Massster, I have no choice but to handle thisss," She said to him as she readied her claws and prepared for Alira's attack.

Lanan stood up after landing on his back and promptly yelled, "be careful, Ruby!" He knew Ruby could handle herself, he already witnessed her fight and chase of another Demon. She was even faster than him, but he wasn't sure if she was as fast as Alira.

 

Alira's flesh started to peel of as her true form started to surface.

 

Ruby tensed her claws and bared her fangs as she let out a long hiss, preparing for the battle.

Lanan looked at Alira's body as her skin peeled off. That is just sick... he thought. Remembering Ekaf, he looked around for her but couldn't spot her. What did he spot was a crowd of civilians who weren't smart enough to figure this was dangerous. "You idiots! Don't stand and stare!" he yelled, "Leave or get killed!" It took them a second, but the villagers got the point and ran in the opposite direction. Lanan turned his head and gave his attention to the battle.

 

Alira had taken her full Demon form. Her demon blade was ready.

 

Rubira couldn't help but smile. Even though protecting Lanan was top priority, she was looking forward to a good fight. "Let'sss go, Demon," she said as she snapped her tail behind her.

 

OOC: sorry its been hard for me to post, everyone :( ive had 4 8-hour shifts in a row the last few days and summer college classes started... ugh! this is the time when i wish i still had internet on my blackberry XD

BIC: Eleanor felt a bit more hopeful at the mention of detailed healing. "My mother could do that also," she started. "Repairing wounds with magic... she drew energy from nature." She sighed suddenly, shaking her head as they walked. "Listen to me, speaking of her as if she were dead! It's my father who will die soon... I can imagine what he would say if he knew who I was helping now."

 

OOC: It's alright, but I'm jealous now that you have a blackberry...and the fact that you have 4 8hour shifts when I'm barely making any money on my job lol

 

"Ha, pathetic Summon" she said in her deep Demon voice.

 

Rubira was waiting for Alira to make the first move, but Alira seemed to be sizing her up.
"We'll sssee who the pathetic one really isss, Demon!" Rubira yelled as swung her tail towards Alira.

 

Tristan nodded. So her father must be human and her mother Cylian.
The sounds of the city of Nentrion could be heard coming from up ahead. Tristan thought back to the last time he heard those sounds. He had been just a boy then. The paved streets were packed with people going about their everyday lives. Shop owners would advertise their products out loud and compete with the other nearby shops. As a boy, Tristan had found this fascinating.
Tristan entered the city and was shocked. dirtied people, wearing rags, lay everywhere in the streets. They begged those that passed them for food, money, and water. starving babies cried, and orphaned children stared at people with eyes filled with despair. Shop windows were broken and a few shops had even caught fire. Nobody here was prospering, except the rich greedy merchants who had a belly big enough for two people.
What brought even more horror to Tristan's eyes was this one shop that stood near the entrance of the city. On the building, in big letters, were the words 'Slave Market'. Next to the building was a sign.
Tristan guided Eleanor within reading distance of the sign. The sign read:

Tristan was appalled. "What is this?" Tristan growled. "Why has he done this to our country? This isn't like him! what is going on here?"

Nas could sense the boiling anger that came from her master. She began to tense up. She then readied herself for a possible attack.
