Sameire shrugged. "I didn't know her. But... my brothers were close to her, I think. I feel guilty for taking her away from them...."

 

ooc: But she ran into the Tornado, making her go faster and used the force from the speed to escape it on the other side.

 

Lanan's plan worked better than he had hoped. He wanted to Alira in the tornado, but instead she ran right into it! Lanan stretched his hands out again, causing the tornado to grow drastically. Lanan was starting to feel the pull from the tornado despite the distance. Lanan tried to control the wind so it wouldn't damage the buildings around it, but kept his attention focused on the tornado. The tornado's force was so strong, he was sure nothing could escape, not easily at least.
Ruby wrapped her tail around a pillar on the balcony of a nearby building. She hadn't expected her master to make a tornado and she was almost sucked into it. Using the pillar to keep her from flying into the cyclone, which was still growing, she spit as much venom as she could into it. Even if she essscapess the wind, she'll have to run through a wall of petrifying venom!
Lanan smiled as he kept rolling his hands to keep the mini tornado going. Ruby's venom wasn't part of the plan, but he knew what she was thinking. The Demon would either have the air sucked out of her lungs or would be petrified if she managed to escape the tornado.
EDIT: OOC: If she ran into the tornado, it would increase her speed, but the tornado's force is the same on both sides. Her speed would be increased by one side, but the other side would push in the opposite direction, so you pretty much trapped her...

 

OOC:She would go faster, yeah, but then she would get lifted off the ground and thrown about.

 

"did she... die at your birth?" Gemini asked in a hushed tone. She had seen two women die that way in her clan and the memories of their death screams came back to her as well as their familes grief that the clan shared.

 

ooc: Ok fine.
BIC: Alira tryed to escape the Tornado when she got closer but almost got sucked up, she dug her hand into the ground and held on for dear life.

 

Sameire nodded. "They always told me it wasn't my fault, but I can't help feeling guilty."

 

"I know how you mean." Gemini's ears had slowly drooped as they talked and she remembered the mourning of dead mothers. "But I hope you don't make yourself miserable about it. It must be nicer to watch your happy moments for her." she tried to put in a happeir idea in the conversation.

 

Lanan gave a small laugh, she doesn't really understand the concept of Wind Molding, does she? Making sure Ruby was still holding on with her tail, Lanan exerted more energy into his arms and he rolled them faster then before. The tornado grew until it was around Alira.
"Damn!" Ruby hissed as the pillar started cracking. He made it a little too ssstrong. She thought as she stretched her tail around another pillar. Making sure the Demon wouldn't be able to escape the cyclone, she spit another stream of venom. She can't esscape now...without turning to ssstone! Maybe Massster Luna desservesss more credit..

 

"I don't really think about her a lot," Sameire said. "I don't know much about her. I think it's better that way."

 

Gemini nodded, "You're right." she agreed, glad that Sameire's worried nature didn't center around her dead mother. Worrying about the past is worse than dreading the future. she silently mused.

 

Alira started to laugh, she though to her self, she has ranged attack, in her free hand a red beam shot out towards Lanan.

 

Charles had been thinking about this creature that had been following them and why was it following him. All he could think was that Raphael isn't all that he says he is.

Raphael had a lust for finding out what the crature is, the ony thing that he could think of is that she is a demon, but he couldn't tell.

As she sat in the trees, about 70 yards away from the travelers, she thought, "He iz nott a human or Cylian, and Raphael is anything but human, anymore...so why haven't either of them made an attempt to kill me yet?" "They know that i am following them, but they just walk and talk...this is getting frusrating..." Rosine thought, messing with the flower in her hand...

Sonia entered the taveren looking for an a very old man, just siting at the table, looking sas and lonly...She decided that he was the best place to start. "Excuse me sir," She said, setting herself at his table, "Would you mind if i asked you something, if you do, i will pay for your next 10 drinks...."

 

"Masster!" Ruby yelled as she saw a red flash shoot out of the cyclone.
Lanan threw his body to the ground as he saw the beam shoot out towards him. He dodged the beam, but when he hit the ground, his concentration broke. Lanan looked up to see the tornado spiral out of control. "Damn!" he yelled as he jumped to his feet and struggled to get control of the tornado. He succeeded, but it was bigger and more violent than before; Lanan was starting to slide towards it.
Ruby saw Lanan was okay as she started flying towards the tornado, being pulled by it's new power. She dug her claws into the wall of the building closest to the tornado and swung her body onto the roof, and started scaling across the roof, away from the tornado.

EDIT OOC: Damn it Garxena! I wanted to be the first post on page 100 and instead I was the post before it...

 

"Well, there's nothing I can do about it," Sameire ran a hand through her hair. "I guess there's no sense in fussing over it then. I've got other things to worry about anyways."

"You're mad at me, huh?"

Aidou looked down to see that Aduial had woken up and was looking at him. He didn't answer.

Aduial sat up. "Sorry for worrying you."

"Wasted apology," Aidou muttered. "I wasn't worried. Idiot."

Aduial fixed her crown-like head piece. By Aidou's tone, she knew not to press the subject. "Are we going to head out soon?"

"I am." Aidou stared at the wall. "I'm going back to Sin Isle. There's something I have to take care of."

 

"That's true. Living causes it's own problems, but I'm sure you can handle whatever life throws your way." Gemini commented, looking Sameire honestly in the eyes.

 

Sameire had to look away. She felt badly for lying to Gemini, but she was still unsure about telling the full truth about herself. "I just do what I can. I'm hoping that my brother will be able to help me."

"And you don't want me to come." Aduial wasn't asking. She had a feeling it really was what the Vampire wanted.

"It's not safe to cross those waters," Aidou murmured. "Even for someone like me."

So he's worried about me? Aduial was surprised. She stood and adjusted her garments. "I'm coming anyway. Both of us together will be better than just you."

 

Alira shot more beams at Lanan.

 

Gemini didn't seem to notice Sameire's guilt. "That's what I mean." she continued. "You seem smart enough to take care of yourself and you know when to ask for help. It's good." she smiled openly.

BIC: Sameire cracked a small smile. "I've always been told I'm bull-headed. I only ask a few people for help. My oldest brother used to say that I'm 'self-reliant' and 'kind of a brat.'"
