Gemini sighed. "That would a good plan." she agreed, sadly. "oh! but before you go, if I meet your brother at some point, do you want me to tell him your looking for him? I doubt I'll ever see him, but you never know." she wanted to be of some help to Sameire since the girl seemed in so much danger.

 

OOC: I got to go! Be back in a few hours. ^^ I'm gettin' a hair cut! I'm going as short as I can!! :D

BIC: "I'd appreciate that," Sameire thanked Gemini. She'd liked meeting the Crossbreed; it had broadened her view of the world a bit. "I look forward to seeing you again."

 

OOC: i can't wait to see your new hair cut ^^ it'll be sooo cute.

BIC: "You too." Gemini was surprised at how much she kept drawing out saying good bye to her new friend. Maybe it gets easier the more people you say goodbye to. she guessed, thinking of how many people she was probably going to meet if she traveld the world. As they reached the town's streets she paused and looked around at the buildings. "Have a lovely life." she said, putting on a bright smile and perking her ears up. She forced herself to wave and walk down the street into town, looking for the local inn.

 

Kurt had a nice surprise waiting for him. He saw an animal approaching, but he recognized Flame Burst. Trenyan had told him he sent the wolf in a delivery mission, and Kurt was happy to see the wolf come back unharmed.
This wolf will never cease to astound me, will he?

The reunion wasn't anything too sentimental. Kurt knew the wolf, because he was Trenyan's best friend, after all. Sometimes going on journeys with Trenyan, it was inevitable he knew his wolves.
Thus he understood what Flame Burst was trying to say. It was one of the few things he could understand from the wolf's gestures. Flame Burst had detected an odd smell.
It came from Faeyland Woods... or what remained of it. That was making the smell odd : it was a smell in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of an ocean of ash.

Kurt wouldn't worry about the smell and whoever it came from, but he planned to go through Faeyland Woods anyway. He feared encountering Lizards or Leechers by taking the western route to Ilianam. He decided to go through the burnt woods.

So he turned back, and started moving east once more, turning north when he reached the woods, and proceeding in the desolate land that his best friend had created.

 

Eve was in deep meditative thought, seeing the popping up from the ground by his power was a miraculous sight to behold. It was as if the clocks of time were late for their interview with nature. I wonder how long it will be until I see another two legged being? Maybe it will be days, or maybe months? Well at least I get to practice my skills. Gosh I sure am hungry.

 

Kurt followed Flame Burst. Being a half human and half Cylian, his smelling sense wasn't strong. All he could smell was fire and ash. Coughing was part of the travel through Faeyland Ash. And still, a few remains of the forest were on fire.
I hope the dead Lizards and Leechers were worth this, Trenyan.

 

OOC Thank goodness your character is half-cylian instead of a full one!
BIC Eve was getting very hungry so he decided to take a break, and get some apples from a tree. He used his sling shot to shoot three apples down. He sat in a very small tree and began to eat.
I think a smell someone coming... hmmmmm

 

OOC: yikes that was a lot of reading to do! *sigh* i think ive got it...

BIC: Eleanor shook her head and sighed. "I'm supposed to stay with you," she said to Tristan. "That's part of the job, you know; protecting you. Let me help if there is any threat posed here against you."

 

Eärendur carried an apple with him as he walked toward the southren edge of the forest. To make sure he caught the Pyro he planned to make a series of traps around the forest. The traps he had in mind were very simple, but they were very effective. Eve went to work.
Each trap would only take about 10 minutes to make, and eve planned on using the oldest traps in the book to not harm, but capture the person he was looking for.
OOC lol I feel like a ewok!

 

Trenyan had arrived at Cheslidair. But he felt like arriving in hell. Thousands of villagers were gathering in this city, as the King apparently ordered. Where will those people stay?! Doubtless it's indeed a traitor that made this plan, and not the King.
But who? thought Trenyan. If the King had thought of this, surely his generals and officers would have told him the problem. No. This must come from someone who has a great military influence. This King needs to remake his military generalship...

Trenyan managed to enter the city. There were "only" a few thousand villagers here. soon, however, the entire kingdom will be here. Unless Trenyan succeeds in his mission. Something even he, unfortunately, highly doubts.

Kurt was surprised how fast Flame Burst moved. He had trouble keeping up, especially with his feet always sinking in deep ash.
It took a while, but eventually he approached the northern border of the forest.
He then saw... a part of the forest that was left unburned? He approached the mysterious place, Flame Burst growling.

OOC Okay time skip it is.
BIC Eve was high up in a tree as he looked down at the unsuspected intruders. All they need to do was take one more step than they would fall into the camouflaged trapping pit.
OOC The trap won’t hurt them by the way.

 

"Then you best go first. I'll be the last to leave. You can send a surprise attack from behind. Does that sound good?" Tristan asked Eleanor.

 

Kurt was intrigued by the wooded area he reached... How did this place survive the fire?

But suddenly, Flame Burst, who was sniffing ahead of him, fell into a hole!
Despite the swiftness of the event, Kurt realized that this was a trap. Flame Burst wouldn't have fallen into an open hole.
He took his scythe from his back immediately.
"Flame Burst! Are you okay?"
He could hear the wolf growl wildly in the pit below.
"Who did this? If you're there, show yourself!" he said, staying alert, knowing that other traps could hit him at any moment.


OOC : Why set that trap... why not just, ya know, ask them who they are? :)

 

Kellington gaze out at the crowded capital. It was time to close the gates.

Finally Karchit's entire army had made their way to Cheslidair. "Screech!" Karchit yelled out for disgusting creature.

"You called?" Answered Screech in a mocking tone.

"Is everyone in position?" Hiss Karchit impatiently.

"Of course. Do you not think I'm capable of doing my job?" Screech asked. He then sniffed the air and licked his teeth with his tongue. "So many children. Can you smell them all?"

"We are not here to only kill the children."

"But that doesn't stop me from making children my main target." Screech replied with a laugh. "Today I bathe in human blood."

OOC: because asking who they are is sooooooo unoriginal.

BIC Gah, great I hope I don't get sliced in half. I wonder if I should show myself. Hmmmm
Eve thought long, and hard. Then he jumped down from the tree with his sling shot in his hand, fully armed and loaded.
He paused looking at Kurt almost admiringly, but then he remebered he had to protect the forest.
"I am Eärendure Eve Vardimir, and I have been at this forest for about three days trying to make green again. And who might you be?" Eve said keeping his guard up.
This guy looks like an honest face, but I need to make sure first.

 

Kurt was intrigued by the way the obviously Cylian man looked at him.
"My identity is of no importance", said Kurt, keeping an eye of the slingshot.
He thought of the man's words. "To make the forest green again"? Kurt thought about Trenyan's pyromaniac adventure for a second, but then shifted his attention back at the man.
Flame Burst was growling hard, and trying to get out of the pit, of course failing.



OOC : Hey Pezz, Cheslidair is gonna get attacked already? I figured it would take a few days for the whole kingdom to retreat there, but it's barely been a few hours, or am I mistaken? Won't you force the population to go back to their towns, which is the best place to be?

 

"Are you saying you don't know who you are?” Eve said almost affectionately, before remembering he had to protect the forest. "What I want to know is if you know who burnt down this forest." Eve said

 

"Is that Tyaom?" Ruby asked Lanan as they ran, pointing to the left.
Lanan turned his head and saw the roofs of a few buildings in the horizon. "Yeah, Tyaom, the capital of Ilianam...The next town shouldn't be too far off." He turned his head back to road. I hope the next town has a good, cheap healer..., he thought. I pay half my money to rest at an inn and a Demon attacks...I didn't even get to sleep! What a waste...

 

Kurt answered :
"What do you mean "I don't know who I am?" Are you kidding me? I didn't ask for a philosophy lesson. As for the forest, I guess you aren't aware of Baflee being burned down as we speak, are you?"

Then, to himself :
This guy is suspicious. He talks as if he taunts me... he probably wants me to lower my guard. Better be careful.

 

Is it me, or is he kind of cute when he’s stubborn? Focus Eve! Focus! “Why would Baflee interest me in any way stranger?”Eve said.
