From what I understand, this still gives enough time to react and roll away, no? Trenyan did trick Nevirz into attacking, after all. And rolling after a jump means that he can get under the statue.

 

"Kurt? Didn't you hear me?" Eve said

 

OOC: Yeah, but you said the statue hit the ground. That's what I meant to point out there. sorry again.

Powers- Extremely agile and jump farther than most Cats. His martial arts skill is the best in the Guild.

Side- Evil (whatever side Zuiden's on)
Weapon- A staff that reaches his shoulders.
Background- Whisk was separated from his clan when he was just a child. He wandered into the Desert where he was attacked by a small group of Lizards. He managed to kill one of these Lizards before Zuiden found him and helped him. Zuiden saw that he enjoyed fighting, as even as a child, he smiled at the idea of battle. He then took Whisk in and entered him into the Guild. Zuiden had already started his plan to overthrow Jacob from the Guild but Whisk quickly became his right-hand man. As he grew older, Whisk started to worship Zuiden. He would do anything Zuiden asks.
Whisk is also very sadistic. He enjoys fighting. He always has a smile on his face, even when injured.
Appearance-

Dirty blond hair. His ears and tail are orange with black stripes. He has unusually sharp fangs, even for a Cat.

Damn! thought Kurt.
He could use a short rest, but did they have enough time?

"Eve, Samerie must've escaped at most two days ago, otherwise, I would've been informed. Where do you think she is now?"







OOC : Ok guys and gals, I gotta go for a while. It shouldn't take long, but I can't be sure. See ya soon.

 

"She would probably go upstream to catch some fish. If she knows how to fish that is." Eve said before he yawned.

 

OOC : I'm back. I'll leave again later, but I'm here for now.

BIC :

"That makes sense, doesn't it... if she's busy getting food, than we should head to an inn. We need to be rested, because anything can happen in such a kingdom."

With those words, he started walking towards a nearby inn. It looked dirty to say the least, but it was all they could get.

Trenyan shot a glance at his clothes. Under his cloak, he still had a few small pouches with what he needed. He remembered that he only had two more of those glass spheres, however.
Trenyan had learned, during the course of his long life, a few things about nature. For example, he knew the effects of some plants, and even though this skill wasn't very developed, he had particular knowledge of a few poisons plants could make...
So he would go seek such plants, extract their poison, and dilute it in water. His glass spheres, the size of a large marble, held a liquid promise for trouble.

It's a waste to use the precious poison on random enemies. But this thing has earned the right to be poisoned! But can I do so? I don't even know what it is!
I must cut it... if it bleeds, or does anything similar, maybe the poison could just work!

 

Eve rang the little doorman bell at the front desk of the Inn, and a large shadow came from around the corner, and to his and Kurt's surprise the doorman was none other then the Drunk Yin.
Please tell me this is a joke.
"Hey! If it isn't none other than... say I can't quite recall your names.
Do you remember their names Bubba?" Yin asked; who was in a slightly torn red uniform.

 

Kurt, hoping to interrupt the men's conversation, asked :

"Do you have any free rooms?"


"Yes, we do. Most people can't even... afford them."




OOC : Ok, KH-Vids is acting up again. Hard to load anything.

 

Nevirz snapped the statue in two and held one piece in each hand. He then charged at Trenyan and swung the left half of the statue.

 

"You see the way I see it is the king keeps raising up taxes, so then us shop keepers have to raise our renting prices so we can cover the taxes, pay the employees, and uh, yeah and receive some revenue for ourselves. Problem is he raised the taxes he didn't raise the taxes fairly, so now everyone is suffering! It won't be to long before we shut down as well. If only there was some way we could get our taxes down, then maybe Bubba and I could hang out at the bar a little more often." Yin said.
I don't think these guys are that bad, they are just suffering like everyone else.
“Listen to me I think I already have my begging act all tied together, but then again there is no one to beg to.†in said.
“Oh I forgot, my name is Yin, and this is Bubba.†Yin said as he removed his hat and shook Eve’s hand.
“Pleasure to meet you Yin†Eve said with a smile.

 

"Hello... my name is Kurt..."

and you guys smell horribly., he thought.

"Here's some money" he said, putting quite some coins on the counter. "Will be this enough for a room for two, for this night?"

He hoped to avoid any further conversation with those guys, ironically, since he did the exact contrary a few minutes ago.


"Yes, this is enough." said Bubba.

Trenyan saw his enemy prove his strength with one superhuman feat after the other. He hesitated as to how to dodge the statue, and ended up putting himself flat on the floor. The statue missed him, but, as he was getting up, he was wide open.

If I need to take a hit to cut his body open, so be it.

 

"Well thank you Mr. Kurt" Yin said as he grabbed a key out from under the counter. "This just for tonight I presume?" Yin asked.
"Yes just tonight."
"I don't blame yah; nothing too great out here anyway." Yin said.
"Do have any luggage?"
"Just my plant" Eve said. "Do you have a Room with a window for her?" Eve asked.
"Why sure kid. This for some lady, or something?"
Before Eve could say no Yin quickly added. "Ah it’s probably none of my concern. Bubba take them to room 32." Yin said as he passed Kurt the Keys.

 

As Nevirz finished following through with his first strike, he released that half of the statue so that it went flying towards Kellington's direction. As the crossbreed attempted to get back to his feet, Nevirz swung the other half downwards towards so that it would land on the crossbreed's head.

Kellington couldn't help but admire the creature. He would have never predicted that the creature would throw the statue at him. He was completely caught off guard, which was why the statue made a solid hit. Kellington was knocked to the ground. He felt a little dazed.

Screech grinned widely as he gave the girl's heart a small squeeze. The girl cried out in pain. "So what now Angelen. How is this going down?"

Zack was dispatching Leechers by the dozens, but they were still advancing on the citizens. Zack grit his teeth. Damn, he thought. What is Sebastian doing?
Suddenly some of the citizens let out battle cries and revealed hidden weapons, and every not and then, Zack caught a glimpse of Lineve that, no doubt, a Shaper had formed. Hmmmm..... Zack thought as he grabbed hold of the other end of his chain, with his free hand, and blocked an incoming leecher blade.

 

Lanan reached the outskirts of town just as the sun disappeared. "I guess I still made it in time," he growled.
"That was quite a scene, Master Luna, us running over buildings. The people were interested," Ruby said, pointing out that they stood out. "I thought you hated attention."
"I do," Lanan said as he walked on all fours, "But I've been feeling rowdy lately, must be the healing."
Or that weird feeling we felt early, Ruby thought. "So what now?"
"First, we go to the river, I know there's one near here." Lanan said, "After we try to unhypnotize you there, we're going hunting," Lanan's stomach hadn't stop growling since he woke up.

Ras'tepa walked out of his room and around the castle. Where could that general be?Bryne didn't say anything as he thought privately in his own mind.

Zuiden watched the battle as he rode around the area around Cheslidair. If the Lizards lost, there would have been no point in his journey. Then again, as long as their leader remained alive, his reason would still be valid. He could help out in the battle, but why risk it?

 

Kurt hated the fact he needed to rest. He was on a mission from Lorya, his secret town, after all. But he had a feeling things will go wrong. Especially after sensing that shockwave thing...

When he arrived at their room, Kurt opened it, and soon, he was alone with Eve.
While he was taking some things out of his traveling bag, Kurt suddenly ad a thought.

"Hey Eve, now that I think of it, I never asked you about that plant you're always carrying. What is it? Did you Mold it yourself?"

Their group had separated once more, after seeing that the battle was intense, and unknown forces were helping the citizens of Cheslidair.
Lythorne was actually second-in-command for this operation. He got his position after proving his skills over and over, while searching for Quel's survivors.
He still fought, however. His group, consisting of twenty men and women ready for battle, attacked from the south-west.

Holding one of his swords, as well as some short trident that was apparently designed for the sole purpose of piercing Leecher brains, he jumped in the unsuspecting monsters.

"Good evening, freaks!"

This is so predictable. Whenever you're down, roll away.
Those were Trenyan's thoughts, and so he did. The piece of statue shattered to his left. Although a piece of stone hit his left eye, Trenyan still moved.

Getting up with the momentum of his semi-standing roll, he attempted to slash the demon's wide open arm, that was now holding but a mere piece of what was once a statue...

 

"No, I didn't mold it. I think she might be a Venus fly trap" Eve said as he set Eura in the window.
"Once she develops her traps I am supposed to give her personality. She is my final test before I can become a true plant molder" Eve said as he watered his plant. Eura's buds looked like they were almost ready to open at this point.

 

What would have been a serious wound for humans, ended up just being a shallow cut for Nevirz. He smiled and began to hum a tune.

Kellington could barely manage to stand on his feet, He was very dizzy and he was struggling to stay conscious. That's when the creature began to hum. Once again terror struck Kellington's heart. Loosing his concentration, he fell to his knees. Unconsciousness had just nearly overcome him. He felt like running, but he didn't. Instead, he struggled to push the fear out of his mind, but the best he could do was to try and ignore it. It sort of worked, but it didn't stop the chills that came every now and then.

 

"You already seem like an accomplished plant molder to me! You did restore part of Faeyland Woods, after all!"
Kurt remembered how Eve grew a tree to let Flame Bur-...
Oh yeah, Flame Burst. Guess he'll need to sleep on the floor. Not gonna let him risk staying outside.

Trenyan noticed the general. He was in pretty bad shape. If he wants to put his plan in action... Trenyan might need to protect him, or at least divert the demon's attention.

When the demon began humming, he wondered what in the world it was thinking. But then he suddenly felt fear again.

So that's it...

Trenyan guessed that some sort of magic was striking fear in the demon's enemies. Whatever he hums can be a magical formula!



Trenyan had Molded a lot, in a short time. He would need to conserve his energy...

If all goes well, I'll defeat this thing in just two more Moldings. Oh wait. Actually, three.
Then, he said :

"Shut up.", as he Molded ice all over the demon's mouth.




OOC : I'm done for the night. Not feeling too great, because I moved a lot today, and it's really hot outside...
